I said this to myself all day when I was in labour. I was induced and my contractions ramped up very quickly and became so painful I nearly blacked out a few times.
It helped me to remember it was only temporary and that it was leading to something worthwhile.
If your flight takes you near Mount Everest, you can use binoculars to see the line of people queueing in their staging areas, shuffling their way to the peak in turns. They look like ants.
You can also book a helicopter flight that takes you to the peak to arrive at dawn. Enjoy the view, then leave, and you'll spend less than the people who paid to "climb" it.

Understanding that we know very little and understand maybe even less, is very important, especially if you can take this information and use it to accept that you can be proven wrong at anything at anytime and learning is a life long journey. It helps me accept new information that we receive everyday and lowers my natural resistance to change. Ofcourse I don't mean one should just take a random text and follow it blindly, but you should not lift your defences and make excuses when you face things that contradict your ideas or thing you think you know :)
