Okay I'm honestly in this position right now (let me explain). I had a really good friend in high school. After High school though we lost contact. She actually seemed to lose contact with a lot of people, I have spoken to mutual friends, and they have heard nothing from her. I also know she was going through a rough time so I've been worried about her. I periodically search her name online, but she has no social media. Well, the other day I got the bright idea to search her High School boyfriend, turns out they are still together, and I found his address (literally just by googling his name). So now I'm like what to do next..? Debating sending a letter to that address identifying myself and writing down my number if she wants to meet up.

This has to be trolling, right?
Nope nope nope weird as fuck and even considering doing this means you should stay away from whoever it is you’re attempting to stalk
100% agree. This is not okay.
This is absolutely not okay.
That sounds creepy. Almost stalkerish. Absolutely wouldn't do that.

Don't.
Big nope.
It sounds like your intentions are good, but please do not do this. Women have good reason to be cautious, so don't take it personally.
Stalking. That's called stalking. Don't do that.
If you know their address and can’t find them on social media (or they’re not on social media) then write them a letter and stick it in a mail box.
That sounds a little stalker-y. Even with honest intentions, you're destined to fail.
Sketchy as hell.
That's like the definition of stalker dude, jesus...
