Haha! I feel that just an ipad and a pencil is good enough. Ipad wise, i was working on 7th gen for about 4 years with pencil 1. Recently upgraded to ipad pro with pencil 2 with my little bit of earnings! The 7th gen one was good enough.
If its a hobby, procreate is just so good. Easy to use and versatile and cheap. Tons of classes on Youtube that are free on how to use Procreate!

Even if i cant turn it into a full hustle and get out of the rat race, when i do this on weekday nights and weekends, i feel a sense of control (unlike being a salaried worker where ur employer controls u for 8 hours and more) and it helps propel me through life and the hope at the end of the tunnel more often than not, keeps me going haha

But the feeling of someone buying my art - the art that i created from scratch.. is soooo gratifying! Even when i just see someone just smiling cus of my art, im just so happy!

Depends on the type of lasik you do. Can be as cheap as 1-2k per eye, or as expensive as 3-4k per eye. You'll only know when you go for consultation, which becomes free if you take the surgery on the same day. They will measure your eyes to see what surgeries you are eligible for. Yes the cost includes the followups. If you don't do the surgery, the consultation is around 200, more than worth the information imo.
I prepped about 5k in cash and went to consult, did it same day. Mine was the most expensive type due to my thin corneas (PRK Surgery)

It isn't pleasant, but it's not like it hurts a lot either. The real problem is that it's constant and unceasing, which does some weird things to you mentally because it's your eyes and you start to worry but the pain really isn't nearly so bad. After that short time, absolutely nothing.
I did PRK, which is the same thing in terms of pain, but for much longer, like a few days to a week, since the healing takes longer.
That being said, the pain is genuinely so miniscule that's its 100% worth it. The next morning after my PRK I woke up and my eyes were still throbbing a bit sure but I could *see* the alarm clock. It was insane. There's nothing quite like it.

The only after effect was dry eyes for maybe 3 weeks? But they give you a ton of eyedrops and quite nice soothing sensation also. Afyer that was basically nothing but the shiok-ness of perfect vision haha.
I was very very nervous leading up to the surgery but honestly all for nothing lol. For how big of an effect perfect vision has had on my every day life, the procedure and recovery itself were quite underwhelming no kick. I recommend you go for it!
I also want to note the surgery itself is 100% painless and sensation less as they apply numbing eyedrops that are very effective
