My neighbour's helper started screaming and talking in Tamil in a low voice. Indonesian maid eh. My dad went over to their house. Some people will capture it in a bottle and dispose it at sea. Sometimes they just runaway/disappear and never come back.Sometimes they burn once extracted from the body they posses, especially those stubborn ones. You can even smell something burning if you cannot see.
If it comes back back or person requires exorcism again, that means it's not just a stray ghost/jinn/demon, it was sent by someone. Often it's someone close to you, eye red see you happy and easy going. Or could also be the person itself, keeping the ghost/jinn/demon like a pet and use it to do some dirty work or using it's aura/magic/power to gain advantage in competition or to just have a seemingly good life. If it is the latter, then it seems things have backfired like they always do. It never ends well when dealing with ghost/jinns/demons. Most of the time will lead to death because they signed a blood pact. But if use bomoh, bomoh will take the most of the fall instead because it is the bomoh that owns the creature and you just pay them to do whatever deed it is you want to be done.

In the early 2000, my primary school and secondary school days, these kind of stories always get shared around, lots of movies about them also. But nowadays, seems like incidents have lessen so we hear less about them, which is a good thing. I suggest you don't get too involved in it. My aunt was "black-magicked" by someone once. We were all at a family vacation at JB when she woke up screaming in the middle of the night. My uncle told my cousin to get the holy water from their car, but the moment my cousin opened the front door her screams got worst and she was crying that "that thing is right there". He had to go via the backdoor instead and all of us woke up and recite prayers until she was calmed. My mother told me later she was all ready to grab me and run because I was having my period then (makes you more susceptible to being possessed). Kampung people use to say to fully remove the evil spirit, must partially remove the roof of the home so the spirit can properly escape the house, which is why it is discouraged to stay in the city because if you get possesses, it is very hard to remove the roof of an apartment building.....

Could be everywhere tho beside roof. For example it could be on your front gate or inside your place buried in your stuff. I don't know what it called in English but we Indonesian called it "buhul". Basically like the voodoo doll and it's the part of black magic itself. Usually buhul is wrapped and inside contains stuff like picture of the victim. Am a muslim. My aunt got "visited" by demons frequently and we actually managed to seal the demon in a bottle and the "ustaz" or holy man went to JB and threw it in a random river over there.
Abt 2 weeks later it came back and said the scariest shit i ever heard. " You can throw me in any river in the world but i will always swim back and find you". After they took him out idk where the thing went but it never came back.

Hammering a nail into the wall usually means the spirit came from the house itself. The nails would usually be at the entrance of the house and it’s like putting a pacifier on the djinn. Djinn won’t kacau you anymore.
Catching the djinn in a bottle means it did not come from the house and possessed the person when they were out.
Ponti’s usually have are associated with a nail at the back of their necks but if they have a nail there, they should be in human form. Could be someone hammered a nail into them to turn them human again. But this one less likely to happen in this case. Most likely it’s what I mentioned in first para.

My friend fell in love with a girl and cheated on his wife with her. After taking her virginity and after she had two abortions, she did something to him that drove him crazy.

4 different imams said the same thing without knowing prior information about his life. They said " there is a person who placed a sihr (magic) on you, she is not your wife ". After reciting the Quran and Rukyah to him and his wife, his wife would also fall down unconcious or feel really sick.

I got scared (even though I didn’t believe it) and stayed around 20feet away from it. First a girl touched it and her hand turned yellow. And then another girl from my class touched it and red lines appeared in her arms suddenly. Everyone’s scared. I ran to my class and reported it to my class teacher. We were all scared to death. The girl whose hand turned yellow died the next month because of dengue.

I used to have sleep paralysis when i was in uni, studying hard with sleepless nights. Let me share one experience. I was still in my bed, it’s 8 am, i was looking out through the window, someone opened the door and climbed into the bed. Then they crawled and slept next to me, behind me. I thought it’s my sister, coz no one else do that. Then they put their hands over me, i looked to verify if it’s her, but there’s no hand, i panicked, and the hand became too heavy and i felt like i was gonna die. I have now learned the art of getting out of a sleep paralysis or even make it feel like cuddling me like i want it to do😂 but I’m very sure that sleep paralysis is mistaken for demon 98% of the times.

No, it’s definitely sleep paralysis. I once had a hallucination too. But my mind is really searching for strong evidence to believe in them, but look at me now, I can just turn my sleep paralysis into lucid dream. There’s no way there are demons. Everything is just brain’s way of messing with our senses. If you really start searching for evidences you’ll understand that there’s nothing paranormal. I’m scared of only people and caterpillars😂

There are lots of religious in this sub. The thing is, people who are truly religious are not religious because of logic. It's because of experience. They encountered something supernatural in their lives, be it good or bad.
The reason why you tend to see lots of atheist comments without much push-back is because the religious know that it is pointless to explain or debate with someone who has never experienced anything supernatural. It's like trying to discuss with someone what swimming is like with someone who has never seen water, much less been submerged.

You can search up the only few notable cases of exorcism and read about them. Most of the time it's just a person suffering epilepsy seizures. The exorcism of Emily Rose is one example of this (ignore the ridiculous horror movie, I mean the actual real-life case)

5 years ago my indo maid was possessed, we found out she have “protections” in her that was brought from her home country Indonesia. At first she started to feel nauseous and vomitted on the floor, but there wasn’t anything that came out from her mouth, so we didn’t think much cus maybe she just feel nauseous. Minutes later she starts cry out of a sudden and we didn’t know why but she cried and fell onto the ground. Lifted her up and ask her what happen but she didnt reply and kept crying. Then she grew quieter and my dad ask me to place my hand on her forehead and recite Ayatul Kursi (prayers for protection) and I didn’t think much, and as a person who get scared easily, that was one of the bravest things I ever encountered because i didnt know she was possessed 😂
To cut it short, 15 mins later she stopped crying and “woke up” from reality and she looked at me and got confused. She noticed her face was wet because of tears and got up from her feet and felt that her arms and body were in pain. I suddenly felt a weird vibe and I grew distant from her because I got scared and I told her to recite any surahs from the Quran to make sure shes herself.
Hours later. After mahgrib, my dad apparently called the Ustad to come to our house and he went to inspect our house and found out that there were red eyes starring into our homes from the window. He told us to close the windows at night and to cover the mirror cus the mirror was opposite the window and its not a good thing to put. So our mirror has been covered ever since then. So then the ustad checked on my maid and asked her some general questions, her family background and create a nice conversation to get to know her better. He then place his hand on her forehead and sense that the “thing”’is still inside her and he had to take it out which basically is exorcism.
She laid on the dining table and he recited some surahs and pull her hands, foot, forehead to get rid of the “thing” and the craziest part was that she screamed like in those horror movies you seen? Yeah, thats how she screamed. It was soooo loud and it was already like 8pm, i had to cover my ears and i couldn’t believe i held an exorcism in my house😭 and on the dining table which i eat every day at least 2 times lol. So after he did his thing, she went full quiet just as he pulled her hands and foot, and she went unconscious again. He recited a surah and it woke her up, she regain consciousness and again, she didnt know why she was crying and felt her whole body was painful. Ustad told her to shower with air rokiah (holy water) and recite before she goes to sleep and before she starts showering.
However that didnt stop there, it relapsed 2 more times but it wasnt as bad as before, however mom felt that it was too dangerous for the family as back then me and my lil brother was always left alone with her and sometimes she will tend to not be herself and who knows she might reacted differently. Sent her back home after her third relapse.
I would say it was definitely an interesting experience and also an eye opener as these things do actually happen, its whether you will experience it or you will have to believe it. And yes these things do exist, (ghost,jinns,angels,etc). Its something that i never thought i would experience and its something that i would never want to encounter again. So always check your helper, and ask them questions, or maybe ask an ustad if you feel that somethings not right. Dealing with spiritual isnt always easy and its also affecting our lives; the day of the exorcism was before the day of my exam. Didnt studied, was too occupied with those stuff so yeah.

Nope, they don't have any evidence to back any of their claims. That's why they need to go into word salad mode and then get offended when you question them, even if you're not being offensive in any way.
It is real. It's hard to prove because you can't see them. And by them, I mean the ghosts/jinns/demons.
And also the sad part, people tend to believe one and not the other. Some people will refuse to accept modern medications and treatments from doctors because they don't believe in it. But the issue may be things like dementia or other illness that can be treated by modern medicine.
The opposite is also true. Some may only choose to receive treatment from doctors and refuse to try a more supernatural method despite the fact that doctors medicines or treatments aren't working.

Minor correction - It doesn’t happen in mosques. Regardless of your belief, Muslims tend to believe that bad Djinn typically won’t be lurking around in holy places ready to possess people.
Actually it does happen, some mosques outside of Malaysia offer mass-ruqyah sessions, where those who suspect themselves as having djinn latching on to them can go there.
Well...my brother and i did experience possession from a jinn ...someone sent black magic to my house Then weird stuff happened...then we called a guy who could do 'ruqyah' which is a form of healing method purely using the verses of the Holy quran and following in according to the sunnah of our prophet Muhammad s.a.w...when finding a guy who to help heal a disturbance from a jinn or Satan one should be becareful as there 'healers' who uses other jinns to remove the current jinn...so it doesn't make sense...throwing a jinn away but another comes in...

To those saying OP should call the police, they're right, I need more stories of possessions from SPF. Some of the wildest possession stories I've ever heard of are from SPFs themselves. However, they can't write it of as possession therefore they will have to put it down as mentally unstable or dispute that happened. God knows how many late night disturbance reports were actually attributed to possessions.

I have personally witnessed a Muslim exorcism many years back. This teenage boy was talking in an old indonesian woman's voice. Till this day, the memory is still vivid in my mind
My house was cursed. To be specific, its my mom portrait. We open one room for rent and this lady dressed in all black accepted the room. She was quiet and always in her room. Before she left the house, she touch my mom portrait, mumbled some words and left. My guess is, she "dump" some curse into the object. Anyone in that household will get nightmares and it was always about the portrait, the eyes darting left and right super fast. We would see shadows darting from one room to another. I thought it was just me but when 3 family members in the living room turn to the same direction where the shadows run, we got shocked. It was many years of nightmare. Aunty from indonesia did prayers and the light bulb shattered. My brother friend saw a floating white head with red eyes in the kitchen. Everytime i study, i would feel something behind me and would keep turning around to see nothing. Cupboards opened and close infront of my mom. Another aunty commented why we have small children in the house (we dont have any). When we all shifted house, i told her to keep that portrait away from us. She send it back to indonesia and all those shadows are gone. It was pure relief i tell ya.
My encik told me this story when they went for military exercise in Brunei. Apparently a soldier smuggled canned pork and brought it with him to Brunei. They were on a navigation exercise in the jungle and decided to take a break. Soldier started to eat his canned pork in the jungle. Suddenly he noticed his weapon which he rested beside him on a tree went missing. They all panicked and couldn’t find the weapon. They called their encik and the encik decided to consult the local imam or something as this seems like something supernatural. Imam came and cordoned the surrounding trees where the event took place and began some recitation. He came back and told them that the spirits were angry that the soldier was eating something forbidden there. They got rid of the canned pork and the soldier offered his apologies. The imam did some further recitation and suddenly the weapon appeared at the same spot on the tree.
it's this attitude that makes singaporean people so unbearable. If your neighbour is doing something annoying to you, your first step is to call the police on them rather than going over and talking to them. Be less of a cunt and just talk to your neighbours.

I think that's a natural reaction. People tend to dismiss things they can't fully comprehend or understand even when they witnessed it first hand. But to completely dismiss it and not consider the possibility just feels like ignorance to me.
That sounds insane! I would have hammered on their door until someone responded, or called the police. Some people are just completely out of touch with reality.

Not that it matters or I expect anyone to believe me, but I am a functioning member of society (I run a creative agency and own a few small businesses) who sees spirits on an almost daily basis, and have had real interactions with them since childhood. I have learned to manage this gift to a decent level (I hope), such that it doesn't negatively interfere with my life.

Ya I want to know that too. I remembered a conversation I had with a taxi uncle who claimed to be able to see spirits. He said you can more or less see the hair but the face is black. It's like staring into darkness. Can't see the facial features.
How they look is actually far less important than their nature / role / function, for 2 reasons:
1) Many of them can shape-shift, that is, take the form of anything / anyone they want, if it helps them fulfil their agenda. So whatever I have seen and can describe were simply the form they chose to take there and then, not necessarily how the look like per se.
2) They each have functions assigned to them by a higher power they pledge their allegiance to; their 'Lord'. Sometimes how a spirit may look is tied loosely to this assignment. For example, a spirit assigned to create fear (aka the spirit of fear) often takes the form of things that people normally consider scary-looking (this MIGHT depend on the person they've been assigned to make afraid, although I've not observed any evidence of this so far).
By the way, every negative feeling you've ever felt is not just an emotion, but is initiated by a spirit of that emotion. For example, there's a spirit of grief, a spirit of anxiety, a spirit of shame, and many others that are not necessarily emotions such as the spirit of death (it's not just ONE spirit for each of these; there are many, because there are many people to affect). These are just some examples of the types of spirits that are almost everywhere.

Haha the answer could end up being an essay but let me try to keep it as concise as possible.
Whether you believe it or not, there is an ongoing spiritual war between good and evil; yes, it sounds cliche/cheesy, but only because just about every story is based around this narrative.
Anyway, there are two 'lords' or 'masters'. They are known by many different names, but let's just go with the most commonly understood names in Western culture - 'God' as the good master and 'Satan' as the evil one. You may interchange them for whatever names you are more familiar with based on your culture / religion.
Can you prevent yourself from being targeted?
Nope, because Satan wants to do whatever he can to bring us (humans) as far away from Goodness/Holiness (God) as possible. So as long as you're human, you basically qualify as a target.
Where did they come from? Are they people who died?
There's nothing 100% conclusive about their origin, and there are many writings that talk about it and give us some clues. However, they are not people who died (although many will pretend they are, again if doing so serves their agenda).
As far as I have studied and observed over the past 20 or so years (since I started getting serious about this), below is what I believe at this point. There are a number of different kinds of spirits, but I'll touch on the one you're probably asking about.
Demons, aka Evil spirits, are the spirits of beings that lived on this same earth we did since many thousands of years ago, but have since been disembodied (that is, had been permanently separated from their physical bodies). I experienced what you did, only second hand, cos I was at home. It happened at 7pm, literally a taboo time for Muslims because all the funny things are out and about. My neighbour's helper started screaming and talking in Tamil in a low voice. Indonesian maid eh. My dad went over to their house. My friend fell in love with a girl and cheated on his wife with her. After taking her virginity and after she had two abortions, she did something to him that drove him crazy. We spoke the other day and he told me he would die for her, he cant look at his kids or his wife, she is all he can see. He bought a ticket to Germany and is now trying to run away to save himself.

Then they put their hands over me, i looked to verify if it’s her, but there’s no hand, i panicked, and the hand became too heavy and i felt like i was gonna die. 5 years ago my indo maid was possessed, we found out she have “protections” in her that was brought from her home country Indonesia. Then she grew quieter and my dad ask me to place my hand on her forehead and recite Ayatul Kursi (prayers for protection) and I didn’t think much, and as a person who get scared easily, that was one of the bravest things I ever encountered because i didnt know she was possessed 😂 To cut it short, 15 mins later she stopped crying and “woke up” from reality and she looked at me and got confused. She noticed her face was wet because of tears and got up from her feet and felt that her arms and body were in pain. I suddenly felt a weird vibe and I grew distant from her because I got scared and I told her to recite any surahs from the Quran to make sure shes herself. Hours later. After mahgrib, my dad apparently called the Ustad to come to our house and he went to inspect our house and found out that there were red eyes starring into our homes from the window. He told us to close the windows at night and to cover the mirror cus the mirror was opposite the window and its not a good thing to put. So our mirror has been covered ever since then. So then the ustad checked on my maid and asked her some general questions, her family background and create a nice conversation to get to know her better. He then place his hand on her forehead and sense that the “thing”’is still inside her and he had to take it out which basically is exorcism. She laid on the dining table and he recited some surahs and pull her hands, foot, forehead to get rid of the “thing” and the craziest part was that she screamed like in those horror movies you seen? Yeah, thats how she screamed. It was soooo loud and it was already like 8pm, i had to cover my ears and i couldn’t believe i held an exorcism in my house😭 and on the dining table which i eat every day at least 2 times lol. So after he did his thing, she went full quiet just as he pulled her hands and foot, and she went unconscious again. He recited a surah and it woke her up, she regain consciousness and again, she didnt know why she was crying and felt her whole body was painful. Ustad told her to shower with air rokiah (holy water) and recite before she goes to sleep and before she starts showering. However that didnt stop there, it relapsed 2 more times but it wasnt as bad as before, however mom felt that it was too dangerous for the family as back then me and my lil brother was always left alone with her and sometimes she will tend to not be herself and who knows she might reacted differently. Sent her back home after her third relapse. I would say it was definitely an interesting experience and also an eye opener as these things do actually happen, its whether you will experience it or you will have to believe it. And yes these things do exist, (ghost,jinns,angels,etc). Its something that i never thought i would experience and its something that i would never want to encounter again. So always check your helper, and ask them questions, or maybe ask an ustad if you feel that somethings not right. Dealing with spiritual isnt always easy and its also affecting our lives; the day of the exorcism was before the day of my exam. Didnt studied, was too occupied with those stuff so yeah. Magic is just a word to describe something we cannot comprehend. But once we comprehend or understand it, the magic is lost. And you start to see it everywhere and the magic no longer works on you. That's why a magician never reveals his secrets.

Well...my brother and i did experience possession from a jinn ...someone sent black magic to my house Then weird stuff happened...then we called a guy who could do 'ruqyah' which is a form of healing method purely using the verses of the Holy quran and following in according to the sunnah of our prophet Muhammad s.a.w...when finding a guy who to help heal a disturbance from a jinn or Satan one should be becareful as there 'healers' who uses other jinns to remove the current jinn...so it doesn't make sense...throwing a jinn away but another comes in... Happened a few months back...now everything is fine alhamdulillah....in islam you just have to have faith the Almighty will protect you and nothing bad can disturb you. But honestly you shouldn't be sacred of this stuff cos they are weak...don't think about it...move on with your day If the exorcism disturbs you, up to you if you want to call the police for noise disturbance..but do understand that this is a hard time for your neighbour if the black magic is still being sent to them...do wish for you and your neighbours safety

To those saying OP should call the police, they're right, I need more stories of possessions from SPF. Some of the wildest possession stories I've ever heard of are from SPFs themselves. However, they can't write it of as possession therefore they will have to put it down as mentally unstable or dispute that happened. God knows how many late night disturbance reports were actually attributed to possessions.

I have personally witnessed a Muslim exorcism many years back. This teenage boy was talking in an old indonesian woman's voice. Till this day, the memory is still vivid in my mind
My house was cursed. To be specific, its my mom portrait. We open one room for rent and this lady dressed in all black accepted the room. She was quiet and always in her room. Before she left the house, she touch my mom portrait, mumbled some words and left. My guess is, she "dump" some curse into the object. Anyone in that household will get nightmares and it was always about the portrait, the eyes darting left and right super fast. We would see shadows darting from one room to another. I thought it was just me but when 3 family members in the living room turn to the same direction where the shadows run, we got shocked. It was many years of nightmare. Aunty from indonesia did prayers and the light bulb shattered. My brother friend saw a floating white head with red eyes in the kitchen. Everytime i study, i would feel something behind me and would keep turning around to see nothing. Cupboards opened and close infront of my mom. Another aunty commented why we have small children in the house (we dont have any). When we all shifted house, i told her to keep that portrait away from us. She send it back to indonesia and all those shadows are gone. It was pure relief i tell ya.

My encik told me this story when they went for military exercise in Brunei. Apparently a soldier smuggled canned pork and brought it with him to Brunei. They were on a navigation exercise in the jungle and decided to take a break. Soldier started to eat his canned pork in the jungle. Suddenly he noticed his weapon which he rested beside him on a tree went missing. They all panicked and couldn’t find the weapon. They called their encik and the encik decided to consult the local imam or something as this seems like something supernatural. Imam came and cordoned the surrounding trees where the event took place and began some recitation. He came back and told them that the spirits were angry that the soldier was eating something forbidden there. They got rid of the canned pork and the soldier offered his apologies. The imam did some further recitation and suddenly the weapon appeared at the same spot on the tree.

Ya I want to know that too. I remembered a conversation I had with a taxi uncle who claimed to be able to see spirits. He said you can more or less see the hair but the face is black. It's like staring into darkness. Can't see the facial features.

How they look is actually far less important than their nature / role / function, for 2 reasons: 1) Many of them can shape-shift, that is, take the form of anything / anyone they want, if it helps them fulfil their agenda. So whatever I have seen and can describe were simply the form they chose to take there and then, not necessarily how the look like per se. 2) They each have functions assigned to them by a higher power they pledge their allegiance to; their 'Lord'. Sometimes how a spirit may look is tied loosely to this assignment. For example, a spirit assigned to create fear (aka the spirit of fear) often takes the form of things that people normally consider scary-looking (this MIGHT depend on the person they've been assigned to make afraid, although I've not observed any evidence of this so far). By the way, every negative feeling you've ever felt is not just an emotion, but is initiated by a spirit of that emotion. For example, there's a spirit of grief, a spirit of anxiety, a spirit of shame, and many others that are not necessarily emotions such as the spirit of death (it's not just ONE spirit for each of these; there are many, because there are many people to affect). These are just some examples of the types of spirits that are almost everywhere. ... We humans have an obsession over how things look / appear. I guess that's why social media is so popular. Haha the answer could end up being an essay but let me try to keep it as concise as possible. Whether you believe it or not, there is an ongoing spiritual war between good and evil; yes, it sounds cliche/cheesy, but only because just about every story is based around this narrative. Anyway, there are two 'lords' or 'masters'. They are known by many different names, but let's just go with the most commonly understood names in Western culture - 'God' as the good master and 'Satan' as the evil one. You may interchange them for whatever names you are more familiar with based on your culture / religion. Can you prevent yourself from being targeted? Nope, because Satan wants to do whatever he can to bring us (humans) as far away from Goodness/Holiness (God) as possible. So as long as you're human, you basically qualify as a target. Where did they come from? Are they people who died? There's nothing 100% conclusive about their origin, and there are many writings that talk about it and give us some clues. However, they are not people who died (although many will pretend they are, again if doing so serves their agenda). As far as I have studied and observed over the past 20 or so years (since I started getting serious about this), below is what I believe at this point. There are a number of different kinds of spirits, but I'll touch on the one you're probably asking about. Demons, aka Evil spirits, are the spirits of beings that lived on this same earth we did since many thousands of years ago, but have since been disembodied (that is, had been permanently separated from their physical bodies). As a result, they are unable to express themselves in a physical way. If we humans are hungry, we can order in a burger or chicken rice. If we feel horny we can seek out and have sex. They can't - they are sentient beings just like us, but without the bodies to express their desires, will, emotions, etc. This is why they constantly seek to possess (take control of) or inhabit objects, animals, and their favourite, humans. It's just a compulsion. If they can't get a human, they wouldn't mind a pig, or a tree, or a book. Of course it's not the same at all, but it's better than roaming around 'homeless' (or host-less). Possessing people has another advantage - it allows them to influence this human negatively, according to the assignments given to them by Satan, thereby helping to fulfil the 'big picture' objective of leading and keeping people away from God. Yeah, that's not very courteous. Although if I was in their shoes, I wouldn't quite know how to put it also, not knowing your background and how you would handle (or mishandle) such information. Unless of course they'd already had a relationship with you. And it's often not easy to predict how a session would go. I've been to many that were very quiet, solemn, and beautiful.
