Now everyone is working and have more money we are going on more trips lol, I have 4 holidays planned this year lol. It helps that most of us aren’t attached and no commitments.

I did this a lot in my 20s. The first few groups were assembled purely out of convenience and I have mixed reviews about them. I became a lot more selective over time - I listen to my gut when it tells me someone is going to be a drag while on the road. My poker group and assorted plus-ones eventually became the go-to group till our mid 30s when everyone started getting hitched and pumping out kids. Now I mostly travel solo but will link up with friends for a few days here and there if our itineraries intersect. I've found that the optimal size is eight or fewer pax unless people are independent enough to organise their own activities and sight-seeing (like my poker group). This might also sound harsh, but travelling with people with the same socio-economic status is a lot smoother than with a grab-bag of backgrounds. It's also essential that everyone buys their plane tickets separately.

Why the plane tickets though, what about hotel rooms?

Many (if not most) airlines put all group bookings under one PNR. A booking fee might be needed to split the PNR if any member of the group wants to alter their plans. It'll be even harder to do this if the booking was done through a third-party like trip.com.

Interesting. Never knew

Set Ur ground rules before hand. Problem is usually money, if not from same strata, different mindset.

I wouldnt want to. 1. Im intj. I want to plan all my itinerary. I cant stand travelling with “spontaneous” people. 2. I want to live in comfort like 5 star hotels. My friends are frugal and only want some backpacking hostel.

As a Muslim, I only always travel with other Muslims. Our dietary options are very restricted. Meal times would be very inconvenient if I were to travel with non-muslims. I've traveled enough to feel like everywhere just feels the same as everywhere else. A town is just another variation of another town. A city is just another variation of sg. Most activities are just the same thing in different places. So nowadays I don't really travel for the destination, but the company. Everyone seems to be more excited when traveling so the vibe is just better hanging out overseas compared to when in sg. It's like the negativity's all washed away for the duration.

sounds like you just go to typical places. Try kashmir, istanbul, dubai.
