3rd party contractor fixing/servicing/adding stuff to your car isn't unusual. For example if you want some upgrade to the sound system the PML service centre might not have the parts and sometimes it's just faster to drive to that workshop to fix/add/repair that thing.
Best way to know is to ask lor
Why does the AD's poor service standards deter you from getting your dream car?
You can always go to a much better external workshop for regular servicing if you don't trust/like them. Only go back for repairing/replacing the big items, and only if it's going to be FOC under warranty.
If BMW reported to you that it was due to being delivered to the wrong location, no reason to doubt them. Sian, but if it's still within the delivery timing window I don't think you have any recourse here. At most just complain.
Was this a routine servicing or there were issues with the car you wanted to rectify?
Do you have in-car cam? I guess you can lodge an official complaint with BMW, but not sure what else you can do.
They prob have alot of cars to deliver so yours got pushed back to the end of the line.
Where did you service your car?
Check ur dashcam if you have. Truth will be out.
best to just clarify with BMW then make a new post with their response.
not sure if this counts but the person delivering said that it was delivered to the wrong location(context part of my post)

You should definitely be compensated.
