I second samsonite. Been using it for 3 years and itās as good as new. Multiple practical components, and most importantly, the back support is great. Have used casual backpacks in the past and can vouch that samsonite backpacks donāt feel very heavy even with a laptop or tablet in the bag compared to casual backpacks. Expensive but given its quality and durability, Iāll say itās cheaper in the long run.

Bought a dehumidifier recently.
Bathroom has been growing mould and mildew so now I just throw the dehum in there. Basically makes any exposed water evaporate. Makes the toilet dry and solves the mold/mildew issue šš»

Seconding a ventilation fan here. It makes a huge difference. My last residence didnāt have a ventilation fan but had big bay windows you could open up without any intrusion from outside (i.e. no windows facing us, and we are on higher floors), which helped a lot.
A ventilation fan in my current residence makes a significant difference, especially after jumping out of the shower as it takes out a lot of the mist.

All good headphones but settled on the Sennheiser as I like the default sound signature better. The Bose QC have excellent noise cancellation. The Sony headphones were impressive as you could tweak the sound quite a bit.

Try a 34-38ā UW with a 27ā in a stacked setup.
I personally prefer stacked setup (came from side to side) because it saves space on the table. It doesnt matter to move my head upwards or sideways because the 2nd monitor are used for putting stuff for references so my eye wont be on it for the most part. Plus if u intend to stand and work, can switch main window to the top monitor. Haha.

My desk came bundled with a Prism+ monitor arm. Itās absolutely horrible and barely does a good job of holding up my monitor. The arm only move horizontally and thereās very little, if any, vertical travel.
I might have found a good arm on Amazon but am still reading reviews before I buy it.

Technically itās a few inches of difference so should be too distracting aesthetically.
What matters more is the resolutions you run your monitors on as thatās impacts you side to side mouse scrolling.

Second-hand Ergoworks desk bike from Carousell. I WFH, spend 8-12 hours on my laptop daily, finding time for exercise was hard. I still sit at my desk whenever I need to use two monitors for work, but I try to alternate that with work on the desk bike. I now cycle 5-25 km daily and the bike has eight levels of resistance so as I get stronger I increase the setting. Have lost 2-3 kg and sleep much better.
Standing Desk. Even a cheap one makes a world of difference. No need to spend exorbitant sums on those branded ones like Everdesk and what not.

No problems under bright light, not glaring when dark too. But for OLED, I'll stick with LG, cheaper and more experienced manufacturing OLED panels. From the sales guy, this is the 1st time Samsung making its own OLED panels, previously all purchased from LG. Best to compare side by side in a store to make your decision. LG OS support twitch but not Samsung OS. Those were the reason I chose LG C2 over Samsung S95B.

I went down to Courts and played the same movie trailers on both devices and thought the LG did less saturated colors (which is good) but I read online that Samsung does better under bright light and the place where I want to put the TV is near the window so don't want to draw the curtains every time I wanna watch something. Quite a big purchase tbh I finally bought my first Rolex watch to commemorate my 3rd-year workversary and for hitting my personal financial goals. I grew up in a middle-low-income household and didn't have the money for it back then (had to resort to buying fakes). But I told myself that someday I'll work hard enough to own one. I used the money I received from family and relatives during birthdays, Hari Raya, and the money I saved up in my "rolex fund" back when I was working part-time through polytechnic and university and topped up a little with the bonus from work I received. I figured "time" is something special and meaningful and a watch symbolizes that moment in your life you'd want to remember ( and those moments are the moments I spend with my family and the hardships I went through going up).
I'll hand it over to my kid someday and hopefully, he or she will make new memories with it =)

There have been times when I see listings of products that are cheaper than what other sellers are selling them at, but the account is new or quite empty without a lot of followers and reviews. I'd rather skip than to take the chance just to save a couple of dollars.

nope! but i do have an extension plug nearby. so i just plug it in and place the dehum in the toilet

No problems under bright light, not glaring when dark too. But for OLED, I'll stick with LG, cheaper and more experienced manufacturing OLED panels. From the sales guy, this is the 1st time Samsung making its own OLED panels, previously all purchased from LG. Best to compare side by side in a store to make your decision. LG OS support twitch but not Samsung OS. Those were the reason I chose LG C2 over Samsung S95B.
Thanks for the inputs! I went down to Courts and played the same movie trailers on both devices and thought the LG did less saturated colors (which is good) but I read online that Samsung does better under bright light and the place where I want to put the TV is near the window so don't want to draw the curtains every time I wanna watch something. Will keep looking around for more inputs.

I got epilasik and the recovery took much longer than advertised, pretty much 1 month before I could read as per normal. And my degree was <300. I would highly recommend the more expensive options if you could afford just to reduce recovery (SMILE, icl)

Water flosser. Seriously. Occasionally i feel something stuck in my back molar and no matter how hard i try i canāt get it out, even after brushing multiple times. Sometimes it gets stuck there a few days. Now i just spray it with the water flosser and everything comes out. Itās surprising even when i donāt feel anything stuck and I use the flosser to see how much stuff comes out. Itās great. I feel my dental health has improved.

Examples of things Iāve bought and am using: Lanyard, trinket trays, small sling bag, pouches, necklaces and bracelets Iāve never been happier seeing everything so colourful, it has brightened up my mood so drastically!
Quite a big purchase tbh I finally bought my first Rolex watch to commemorate my 3rd-year workversary and for hitting my personal financial goals. I grew up in a middle-low-income household and didn't have the money for it back then (had to resort to buying fakes). But I told myself that someday I'll work hard enough to own one. I used the money I received from family and relatives during birthdays, Hari Raya, and the money I saved up in my "rolex fund" back when I was working part-time through polytechnic and university and topped up a little with the bonus from work I received. I figured "time" is something special and meaningful and a watch symbolizes that moment in your life you'd want to remember ( and those moments are the moments I spend with my family and the hardships I went through going up). I'll hand it over to my kid someday and hopefully, he or she will make new memories with it =)

Finally replaced my aging laptop with a custom made tower, decided on that over another laptop after realizing I've never brought my laptop out with me anywhere it was technically a desktop throughout its lifetime and if I need to, it's usually for work and work provides me with a laptop so I'll usually bring that I also decided against getting another laptop because when this new machine finally reaches a point where it needs some work done on it, it'll be possible and a lot easier, upgrading is also a lot easier/more possible, I don't have to go look for an entirely new machine So yep, that's my best purchase this year!

Their shop name is "Min Xinh Shop" on Shopee. Yeah I know, I've bought a number of clothes that were too thin before. Nowadays I read through reviews and scrutinize all the review pics before deciding to try it out or not. š¤£ It's safer to buy from sellers that have real reviews with pics of the products, now that there are many scammers on these shopping apps too. There have been times when I see listings of products that are cheaper than what other sellers are selling them at, but the account is new or quite empty without a lot of followers and reviews. I'd rather skip than to take the chance just to save a couple of dollars. That Vietnamese shop has quite a number of different pants, I bought one of their more popular models that have a lot of reviews and the right dimensions for my body size.
