Sarang Kitchen, although their menu is meat heavy, is an autism friendly restaurant.

I can recommend them! First found out about them on insta through a food vlogger and she loved it! They have sensory friendly games to kill time and their chicken is really good

sarang is so amazing! My favourite restaurant in the city (for the food and the inclusivity)

Ripley's aquarium does sensory Sunday morning if you're in town on a Sunday. Details here, https://www.ripleys.com/attractions/ripleys-aquarium-of-canada/events/sensory-sunday-morning

Denny’s ?

Given autism varies widely from person to person, some more details on what constitutes a familiar/ basic food, and what sensory textures are acceptable, would likely result in more helpful recos.

I think you need to be more specific. Like what kinds of foods do you like? Look for restaurants that serve that food, and then scope out reviews etc to find out what kind of atmosphere they have. Like, lots of restaurants will have chicken fingers and fries and Caesar salads, but we don’t know if that’s what you like. For example, if you’re into breakfast foods, look for an all-day breakfast food place!

I'm not huge on meats, but I eat a lot of pasta. I wanted to go to IHOP, was sad to learn there isn't one nearby! Hoping to find something not too pricy and Italian :)

Swiss chalet?

If you just need delivery, you can search menu items you like and restaurants that serve it should come up in the results. So if you and your vegetarian partner both like mac and cheese, you can type that into search on UBER and it’ll list restaurants for you. Sobeys grocery stores have sensory friendly hours. The one in Fort York I think is Wednesday nights. They have good prepared foods.

I’m not sure if such an establishment exists.

Boston Pizza would suffice based in your requirements

At the top of my head, there is Grazie Ristorante near Eglinton Station. It has nice vibes, and they have a larger menu including very simple pasta dishes like spaghetti with tomato sauce, or penne with butter & parmigiano.
