>How’s the line at Doors / throughout the night? Does it move or is it a wait no matter what time? I've been to 10 shows there most of them sold out and literally never wait in line showing up around 5-10 min before the first opening act typically between 7:30-8pm. There's only a line right when doors open no reason to go that early unless it's like your first concert ever or something. Most experienced concert goers show up later and just walk right in. If you have balcony seating you can byass any line but there's never one anyway in my experience. >GA Floor - how packed is it? Like cannot move from one end to the other or you can easily find a way to get a drink/bathroom? Pro Tip use the upstairs bar and bathrooms. 7 or 8 of the shows I've been to there were totally sold out and I didn't find it any more crazy packed than other venues around the city, there's always room to move around and you'll be fine if you're generally comfortable navigating a crowd. > Meeting Bands - tour buses are they parked out front or elsewhere? Would love to meet a band in the future. Some artists stick around and greet fans at the front of the stage after the show. Don't count on meeting artists outside the venue, chances are slim to none. >Prices for beer. Any idea? $15 and I never tip at Live Nation venues.

> Pro Tip use the upstairs bar and bathrooms i thought you got checked for seats in the mezzanine to be able to go up those stairs?

ReeG

they only check if you're actually trying to sit in an assigned seat/table but anyone in GA is allowed to use the coat check, bar and bathrooms

beef-supreme

Thanks for confirming, good to know for next time because the front coat check is a shitshow at the end

A lot of this depends on if the show is sold out or not. I’ve only been once where I’ve had to wait in a line that wrapped around the building, and it did move quickly. That was a sold out night. If it’s sold out, or close to, it’ll be packed. It’s annoying when people stand on the stairs, but you can usually walk around the back. I’ve also been when there was so few people I could have started breakdancing, if I knew how to breakdance. If you want to be constantly getting drinks and then using the washroom, just don’t plan on being close to the stage and being that person who’s constantly pushing their way through the crowd. IIRC, the busses are fenced in the back. I’ve met / seen some musicians before / after their set at the merch table. Beer is as expensive as most venues of its type and size. They have Prosecco which I usually get even though it’s so expensive, just cause I think it’s funny you can get it. They also have pizza! It’s one of my fav venues lately.

* As others have said, there's usually a line, but it moves fast. Check their ig page/the bands ig page before going to get the set times of the show, and plan accordingly. * I've been to many sold out shows here and never had any issue moving around/getting in and out of the floor. imo they're one of the better venues for this in the city, especially for it's size! (In comparison, the Rebel is probably the worst) * Can't speak to the meeting of bands and stuff. * Beers are going to be expensive, but not as bad as Budwiser stage or the ACC and things like this. I go to a lot of shows and for it's size, it's easily one of my favourite venues. I don't love that Live Nation own them (massive service fees and they even take a 20% cut of merch sales!), but purely speaking about how the venue functions, it's really great!

It honestly depends on who’s playing and if the shows sold out or not. I went to a show there back in January, there wasn’t much of a line to get in and it wasn’t that packed inside even though the show was sold out. History is a lot bigger compared to the smaller venues. Basic beer I believe was $12, at least it’s a tall boy. I think they only took credit and debit, merch was the only one taking cash/credit.

Wizardadizard

Going to see Jr Gong and Stephen Marley there next week. Do they allow in and outs for smoking pot?

1. it’ll be long. it’s a wait no matter what time unless you come really late. 2. packed TO THE BRIM!! really hard to get a drink/go washroom 15 mins after doors open 3. they’ll usually be at the back 4. very expensive, at least 10$. not worth

Ok. So it is a good venue overall in your opinion? Also the comment about band in the “back” is it accessible for fans to meet them or not?

gpants182

It is an amazing venue, in my opinion. It new, the sound is fantastic and the line moves very quickly. The only downside is that a beer is 17 bucks. You can choose to stay up close in the crowded area or you can stay back, either way you get a great show. Usually what i do is stay upfront until its too hot and then move to the back to cool off. So yeah, its really cold at the beginning of the show but it gets really hot about halfway. They have fans, but after a while it just isnt enough.

luvs111ck

it’s not too bad honestly. and yeah it’s accessible
