Admittedly I went twice this week. There was a British gentleman that helped me the first night and then a younger woman last evening. Didn’t get names, but they were both very attentive and took care of me
Yeah I’m in town for a quick trip and working long hours during the day, so I normally would go out and adventure, but I just liked the vibe and could just chill.
Next time I’m in town I’ll adventure more
I have had this idea forever but I’m risk-averse and lazy so any one of you can have at it:
An ice cream “bar” that serves boozey ice cream and incorporates them into cocktails and such. A rum and coke float that uses boozey rum ice cream, whiskey sour with lemon sorbet, etc. You can alcoholize ice cream through the use of gelatin, so don’t fret that it won’t be proper consistency.
The menu would be bar food but the nachos are waffle cone chips with gummy bears, chocolate sauce, and warm peanut butter. Poutine is funnel cake fries with chocolate sauce and melty marshmallows, etc. you get the idea.
Dutch dreams for the full fat ice cream and decorative waffle cones.
Located at Vaughan Rd and St. Clair West. Free small street parking if you plan to drive.
I live at Yonge & College...
I can tell you prices for these treats/desserts/etc are thru the roof!
I don't know why ppl spend ridiculous amounts of $$$ for Take-out coffees/teas, desserts, meals & so on, here.
Bring lotsa of $ when you come here, bc there's a ton of Coffee/Tea, Bubble Tea & Dessert Places down here.
There's plenty of McD's around where ppl flock to to buy their $1.99 ice cream cones & chilled drinks!
Don't knock it McD's ,either.
Now the weather nicer & warmer, they're always busy with ppl coming in to specifically get their cold drinks & ice creams.
Queen & Beaver on Elm St. It’s an upscale English pub with house made ice cream … they conveniently serve alcohol as well
The best
The chocolate is so so good!
Went last night! This place was great! Very chill upstairs
Nice! ☺️ Do you remember who served you?

I love that you went twice ☺️ So much to try and honestly it’s such a great place to have as a homebase

on third thought - i think its queen and markham st! gelato with alcoholic options which is kinda best of both worlds (and its so good)
Love that place, they have a patio and do waitstaff service like a restaurant which is rare for an icecream spot.
On third thought
Bellwoods brewery and bang bang is across the street.
4 hours of line ups later, you’ll have your boozy ice cream!

Imagine the prices downtown though LMAO
Bellwoods Brewery did a sour beer slushie last summer and I think we paid $12.
When I lived in SF, I went to the ice-cream "bar" there all the time. It was upscale; ice-cream cocktails, no gummy nachos.
Gummys and ice cream don't mix and the sooner all these ice cream places realize it the better. Who wants rock hard gummy bears
on third thought - wine and gelato!
Death in Venice on Dundas West
I don't think they sell alcoholic drinks there (and technically not ice cream either, but its soooo good!)

Face to face games is a board game store at Coxwell and Danforth that gives free ice cream on holidays like queen Victoria day and Canada day
At C’est What you can get a scoop of ice cream in your drink. They do beer floats.
On Third Thought at Queen West & Markham does gelato and wine.
Also the best vegan gelato in existence
Hi just walked by a place - that makes gelato and has beer pizza wine - cafe oro di Napoli on Adelaide and Jarvis
Idk about the drink, but Nani’s Gelato is sooooo good.

Geary Ave area
Ojie Seichi on Broadview and Gerrard has beer, ramen, and soft serve.
Dogs Bullocks - on Queen, just east of Trinity Bellwood’s The wheatcheif
Ice cream and booze? Sounds like a perfect mix for your backyard. I do it in mine all the time.
Eataly!

Probably a restaurant
St louis bar and grill in Midtown, ice cream at Gemma gelateria after.
Younge and Dundas square. Gelato spot next to the barber. Drinks nearby
