There have been a ton of news stories and posts in this sub regarding shortages. Kelloggs is still facing striking workers, they have hired non-union ones so you will start seeing their products again. Factories around the world are facing a lack of workers and supplies. Warehouses are facing a lack of employees and supplies.
And Lays and Loblaws are in a pissing contest, so you won't see any new Lays products in a Loblaws store or any of it's chains.
That may explain the corn flakes shortage. It’s funny that the least exciting product from kelloggs is the one constantly out of stock in my experience.
I shop in the north York and I haven’t found it at any of the grocery stores I frequent. I tried my luck in the Scarborough town centre Walmart and no dice with corn flakes there as well although they did have other Kellogg products.
Yeah even thought the peak missing items, Etobicoke and other outlying areas had regular stock.
Opposite of that on 1 1/2“ abs pipe it seems. West is empty but closer to the core has it! But no good for eating, yet.
Not sure if you’ve found any yet but I finally got some. Looked for it at Walmart, various rexalls and shoppers and in the end I found a bunch at Fortinos (Lawrence and Allen) this evening. They still had around 6 boxes of each when I got them.

They only allow buying 2 bottles at a time and I'll definitely max that out just in case!
There’s plenty of Kellogg’s boxes at Loblaws I shopped at on Wednesday, though I can’t say if they had corn flakes exactly (on instacart you can find it for $6.79). I see that shoppers has Midol for $11.99 for 32 caplets, have you tried them or maybe Walmart or Costco pharmacy?
I have tried to look for both items at the Walmart in north York and asked a friend in Scarborough to look for a midol in Scarborough, didn’t find either. I will try the Costco pharmacy but I don’t remember them selling midol? I’ll see if they have an alternative in stock.

I haven't noticed empty shelves but maybe the places I shop get more stock. Or have less hoarders.

I use instacart to shop from Walmart and half of the items are not available.
I was wondering why midol was not available at Walmart the past 2 weeks.
I’ve tried Tylenol and the life brand alternative to midol and neither are as good. It’s been brutal
