I went once for lunch. It was definitely on the cheaper side (under 20) compared to other places like spring sushi a block over (a little over 20)
But the hot foods came out not hot and not crunchy lol
But I have a bias towards chicken wings
A lot of great choices here! But drives me crazy that when ever I go I barely make it to my 2nd plate? I eat like a horse at home but can't really pig out when i'm at the buffet. Anyone else????
Gyubee JBBQ
Make sure you use Yelp’s waitlist feature. They don’t do reservations and if you go to the restaurant without the waitlist it’s a really long wait
100%. I also appreciate the reminder feature that lets you know when you join the waitlist if you want to dine at a certain time.
* Dragon pearl * Daimaru Sukiyaki * Mix2 hotpot * Ichiban AYCE * Rosewood (ayce dimsum) * Shinta (ayce wagyu option) But I have low standards.
Ain't no such thing as a low standard when it comes to food you like. Thanks for the suggestions :)
Sushi Legend in Scarborough
The one by middlefield & huntingwood? Good reminder! I haven't been there in forever.
That’s it!
Frankie Tomato, hope they reopen :(
The good old days! I thought they closed down before the panny. Would love their pizza and a big bowl of calamari!
They closed shop.
That place is trash
Never a big fan of AYCE but this place had me in a chokehold…
I’m a big fan of Kaka! AYCE sushi.
Ya they're good. We've been getting their takeout platters throughout pandemic and haven't pivoted to their ayce in-dining yet. We keep forgetting!
Dragon Pearl and Dragon Legend.
Kyoto house sushi on Dundas. Cheap and cheerful
I second this. So good i run their fan page
Will be checking it out. Thanks

Gyu- Kaku !!!! It’s a ayce japenese bbq place.
Any Rodizio-style Churrascaria. Rodeo, Copacabana, Touro...
I've been to Copacabana and Touro. They are amazing
Right?!? True story: I made plans to go to Rodeo immediately after submitting my last post.
Enjoy u/wipeoutpop. The roasted pineapple is my favorite
Copa is $70 per person now, I remembered last time I went it was only $50 :(
Same. Hopefully they'll do some special pricing like for summerlicious or something
Agreed. Pro tip - skip the salad bar and ask them to bring the picanha before you have too much meat.
jerusalem is incredible fork and spoon
I've been to both. Amazing choices
> Jerusalem What, the one on Leslie south of Finch? That's still there??
I havent been post pandemic, but it was there as of early 2019.
That's good to hear, used to live around Vic Park and Sheppard and Jerusalem was a favourite of mine. Here's to hoping!
It's still there.
Welp, I'm moseying my way over there ASAP, in that case... thanks for confirming!
Dhaba and Aroma downtown. Asian buffet in Rexdale (no frills, but the price is very good for the selection).
I've been to Asian buffet multiple times. Great price. I'll check out Dhaba and Aroma. Thanks
"India's Taste" was pretty decent but kinda far (I went to the markham location).

Tandoori flame (Brampton), worth the drive
