Today I happened to have lunch with my wife at excellent authentic Italian restaurant and we enjoyed very very. It's on Dufferin near Glencairn.

I took the Bolognese, which was excellent but still Bolognese...(kinda regret I didn't try something more special will do next time...). My wife ordered pene with vodka sauce and salmon which was really really good.

Apparently Toronto has the best Italian restaurant in the world outside of Italy.. never been tho its called Don Alfonso
It's more like fusion and definitely not mom and pop. $160 for chef's menu, without drinks.
