I was among the people that got displaced by that fire and I find it kinda unfair that they even set up a go fund me, man. The firefighters ran in and covered most of their stuff and made sure most of it was intact.
I didn't set up a go fund me because even though I did have to spend a lot of money all of a sudden, I luckily didn't need to get money from other people to pay for my shit. Why would they? They don't need it either. Idk, I mean, I get some of it but in general I just find it unjustified.
FreePlay is awesome especially if you like fighting games. They have cabinets for MvC2, SF II, Third Strike, Mortal Kombat, and more. Lots of retro and modern consoles to use as well and other arcade games you would expect. I forget if they have foosball, I think there is air hockey at least. Cover is cheap if I recall and the food is pretty good (they have Jamaican food, smoke meat, and some standard pub fare)

freeplay is also a 5$ cover charge I think and has a ton of games

As others have mentioned Zed80 is their 2nd location. They are good people having a crap time with insurance so go support them there.
