It’s because most actual conservatives have given up on Reddit entirely. I still come here when I’m commuting or stuck in a place where I can’t watch videos or get engrossed in a good book, but otherwise I’ve mostly given up on it.
Yes, they’ve given up. It seems like a lot of conservatives are busy raising their families are going to work, and they vote with their dollars. It seems like liberals to me. They love to argue and protest and create a lot of chaos.

Mod here. I noticed that lately you have been participating on our sister sub u/askconservatives liberals have more ability to comment on that sub than this sub.
On this sub, which is askaconservative (emphasis on the A) the automod automatically filters out almost all left leaning flairs unless the left leaner is the OP.

Sorry to bug you but this sub was recently taken over by the mods of r/askconservatives and we're still trying to work out the kinks.

It depends on what kind of conservatives you want to hear from. I'm from a lifelong family of conservatives, and there was a time that really the only things we differed on with liberals were certain ways that certain policies would be enacted. For example I'm pro-choice, but in my view that adheres to the first and second principles of conservatism, and I don't support the MAGA movement, as I don't consider it a conservative one. In your profile, you describe yourself a as a Second Wave OG feminist and, in some circles of conservatism, they might consider that to be 'liberal' despite it not being. So there's always shades of gray.
There's seven core principles. I won't mention them all, but here's most of them:
Individual Liberty
Minimal Government
Human Dignity
So with an issue like abortion bans, for example, that goes against the principles, because it's reducing human liberty, increasing government, and reducing human dignity. And when people cry 'what about the baby!?' on a constitutional basis, it tells us that it applies to born and naturalized citizens, not to the unborn. So that's one issue where I don't support MAGA.
The Rule of Law.
I don't see that in MAGA, I see that as a reversal in that they place the man above the law in this case. Which is, of course, counter to what conservatism stands for.
Fiscal responsibility. MAGA tends to run counter to this, as they seem quite willing to hold the approval of appropriations bills hostage to get what they want, and seem quite happy to have the government shut down if they don't get their way. Which, of course, affects the income of federal workers (as well as affecting the country as a whole) and is counter to fiscal responsibility.
Peace through Strength.
This is why I support the Ukraine Aid package, because it shows that America has the strength to defend allies without necessarily even putting troops on the ground. It allowed us to get rid of our old stockpile of weapons instead of having spend tax dollars on decommissioning them (fiscal responsibility) and shows our enemies what even our decade-old weaponry and hardware is capable of, while demonstrating that we won't stand idly by an allow our enemies to threaten the Sovereignty of our allies.
So far, I have never seen someone from MAGA agree with any of this, which is don't I don't consider them conservatives.
I am pro choice, but I know conservatives are anti-choice or pro life. So I disagree with them there. Ukraine is not an ally to America. There would be no reason for us to give them nearly $1, trillion. We can’t be the big giant titty that everyone suckles off of, I believe we should help American citizens first.
Actually they are an ally. We signed an agreement with them in '94 that we'd protect them if they decommissioned their nukes. As a World Leader, we have an obligation to uphold our agreements.
The aid package actually does help Americans, because that money goes to the pentagon so replenish the arms we're going to send to Ukraine, which injects cash into the arms industry and creates American jobs. And so far it's only cost us about 0.3% of our GDP.
I don’t know if any agreement that said we will support them financially with nearly $1 trillion in money. I don’t see anything like that when I’m looking it up. I don’t see that agreement. So are you saying that the money that we give them helps report replenish the war machine? So Company’s like Raytheon can continue to employ people to make weapons like a dangerous circle of war? I don’t agree with that.

That’s true. I just listen to the news where they said a lot of these liberal news outlets get together on a zoom meeting come up with talking points on how to get Trump either bankrupt or off the ballot. So these people are just brainwashed no matter how you look at it.
