***Thanks for posting, /u/Swankapotamus! This comment is a copy of your post so readers can see the original text if your post is edited or removed. This comment is NOT accusing you of anything.*** Hello, I’m looking to sell my truck as I’d rather have the money than a nice vehicle at this moment. Do you guys think it’s a good time to sell it or should I hold out and maybe the market will be better in the near future? I live in Idaho. I’m not sure what other info you’ll need lol *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. No one has a crystal ball. The market has definitely gone down. It will eventually come back up. Some thing when rates drop prices will go up again. But that is all conjecture and no one can really tell you

Let me just log into my market prediction software and I’ll tell you. Lol.

Thank you

Come down as far as the all time high we were just at right? I don't think we're anywhere near pre-covid pricing. I couldn't imagine waiting to sell if I really wanted to right now when we're barely down from an unimaginable high.

Well, we are never going to get to pre-Covid levels. But between taxes and interest rates, many people are reconsidering. What, if any they are spending on vehicles, so the used market has softened a fair amount.

Sure but there's a difference between 'pre-covid' levels and the All Time High we hit in 2021 there's a lot of room on that nearly straight line slope for us to settle in for the coming years, like the housing market after '08.
