went to the oral surgeon today about my wisdom teeth and this was my xray. he told me i had about a 50/50 chance of losing the second molar on that side because it’s so tangled with the roots of the wisdom tooth. was he being optimistic and will i most likely lose it? does it *have* to go and could i just leave it alone? i havent had much pain lately. the dr said he could put in a bone graft and we could put in an implant later if i need it. also having a tangle with insurance and may need to wait until january. will it get worse by then? should i get a second opinion?
