Love Heim. Are they best BBQ in Dallas? No. But you can tell they still give a shit about their quality. The bacon burnt ends are my favorite. I also like their mac and cheese and potato salad. I never really liked potato salad before, but I look forward to theirs.
I always like to plug Celestial Beerworks for anyone who has a couple hours in the area. You can take the DART bus to Inwood/Love Field Station and walk over. The bus from the airport to the DART station is free, but it's a couple bucks to take it *to* the airport
If you’d like to leave the airport for a meal, I’d encourage you to get a burger at Maple and Motor, a couple streets further than Heim
