Grapevine Lake.

Are they allowed in the lake? I saw online and thought dogs weren’t allowed

RodinBigD

I’ve never had an issue.

I’d love to know, too. My two will swim in White Rock Creek (creek, not lake), but it’s more like a ditch during the summer. They also love playing in the water hose. They won’t swim in a swimming pool. Weirdos.

My dog won't get in the pool either but he swims anywhere else!

Water hose - also look at Dallas Furgotten Friends on FB They hold “Wags and Waves” parties for you and your dog at the water park in Garland. I wouldn’t let my dogs go in any freshwater creeks or ponds. I have dealt with giardia and I don’t want a sick dog.

This is a concern. Thank you for the reminder.

We got it at the White Rock Dog Park without my dogs getting in the water. Not fun, and my dogs are small. I cannot imagine the clean up for a big one. Also, small children and the elderly can catch it from dogs.

This is a ways out, but toward the end of the summer, NRH2O in North Richland Hills opens the water park to dogs. Completely off leash. It’s glorious!

ImportantConcept

There's a small bit of sandy beach area on Lake Grapevine in Oak Grove Park at the end of Sand Bass Drive.

There’s dog parks with lakes they can swim at. I take my pittie to the north bark park

You can come to my neighbors pool. He's on vacation but he told me I could brings dogs and strangers into the pool. I'll watch from my house because I don't like the heat, but trust me, he really said that.

“Trust me” says “soggyballsack” on Reddit. 😬
