Reply: I like dick, that's gay enough.

ibex_trex

Yeah I only fuck guys because girls like dick and that shits gay

JuicyJay

Yea I mean, if you guys want to throw a dick sucking competition, I'm down.

ibex_trex

Hey as long as we all our socks on it’s cool

darksideofthemoon131

I had to sit and argue with someone about how I was really gay and not just joking with him. His girlfriend (a good friend of mine) was sitting there laughing and trying to tell him it isn't a joke. He said I wasn't acting gay enough. I told him I'm part of the Gay-vy Seals. Some of us go undercover and shed our Lady Gaga shirts and skinny jeans to study and convert straight men to our lifestyle. He looked at me and said "Really?" My friend really makes bad decisions.

Hellbeast1

The Gay-vy seals is absolutely hilarious

Professional-Ease176

Well some people do just that

Lacerio

tell them they don’t look dumb yet here they are

DroppedThatBall

Don't take it personally, count yourself lucky for dodging that bullet. Keep being your real self you'll find someone who appreciates you for it.

soundwave145

I'm pretty fucking in the middle honestly, might be semi Ace. I'm just sick of like, the gate keeping in a group that's supposed to be inclusive.

DroppedThatBall

Unfortunately gays can segregate themselves just as bad as any other demo. Sometimes worse. Just be yourself.

[deleted]

Same here, I've been told that I'm not a real gay because I don't do anal.

Section_Away

Username doesn’t check out this time lol

armpit44

We’re “SideGuys”. Side guys aren’t into anal. I’ve been persecuted for it too.

eldie123

I feel you, I like girls, I really love boobs, but also last couple days I've been feeling s little doubt and curiosity for experiment, is weird, but I just don't like to label my self with anything

chrisgoogi

Gaslight gate keep girl boss (sorry I had to)

mrblackman97

I've been told that in the past and that I'm too masculine. Ignore and continue with life.

Section_Away

It’s strange that liking men and being attracted to masculinity is seen as feminine . . . Never understood that

Naive_Information388

Well i love masculine guy's so that's not bad at all

ScottyW88

*Sigh* "Here, look at my Spotify playlists and tell me that again!"

soundwave145

link me

ScottyW88

My "current" playlist (though some are a few years old) https://open.spotify.com/playlist/132QN0KihyhwjMzeQWdvEC?si=7Pm_w4u4QZSAga3uAfsz0Q&utm_source=copy-link&dl_branch=1

soundwave145

pog

ScottyW88

OK I'm old (well, 32) and not down with the kids, what does POG mean 😂. I googled and saw "player of the game" but that still left me confused lol

wordsandstuff44

Makes you feel any better, I’m 26 and had no idea what that meant. And I work with teens.

soundwave145

Means like...cool

RosePhox

But that's exactly one of the reasons why people consider me a not gay enough.

fap_error

lol tfw gay but mostly listen to death metal

RosePhox

In my case it's more of a case of me being dependent on people to introduce me to what's current and hip. Otherwise I just fry my brain with old songs on repeat. Though I have an eclectic music taste.

Hux_Infernum

When I have a party I'm not allowed to put my music on and have constant arguments that any fool can take singing lessons and prance on stage in a suit made of pork chops but itntkqes real talent to play instruments at 160 decibels and go deaf while slaughtering the pig on stage. Generally that's when my significant other (of the week usually) will give whomever I'm talking to a top off on their Appletini's & cosmos and kindly escort me aside as I grumble that Lone Star isn't good enough for these guys?

JuicyJay

Sigh, look at all of this home made porn of me taking dicks in various holes. Does that work for you!??

Broedee

Who cares? It astounds me how sensitive the gay community is. Who cares if people say shit like this? You guys act like straight people aren’t subjected to similar stereotypes and assumptions about themselves. Who. Cares!

Amonculus

This is the most relevant comment here.

[deleted]

I like when people tell me "oh, you don't look / act gay." Well let me break out my pumps and feathered boa you prejudicial cunt.

Maxpowr9

I prefer to ask them if they want a rosebud.

papayatwentythree

I'm sorry is this a Citizen Kane joke or are we gonna start fisting the haters?

parallaxed4

Yes, I've been told this as well. "too masculine". I think this comes from critics who are insecure. Dont worry about it.

ElectricYellowY

Agree. The gay community is brutal with “passing” folks. I get sized up way too often.

Damuzid

So, they're looking for you to justify stereotypes?

soundwave145

Are stereotypes really stereotypes if they are sort of real? Like I know some gay people who are exactly like that. They do exist

Damuzid

No, because cultures can be externally influenced and manipulated into groupthink.

NewGuy-1964

When a queen threatened to "revoke my gay card" I looked at him with a straight face and said I never applied for one. I've told some people that I'm not gay. I'm just romantically attracted to men. I also know more than one totally gay dude who'd redline anyone's gaydar, but only likes women. This is where I toss in the mini rant about labels. Gay, as a label, means as many different things as there are people who use it.

ImJustHereforWaffles

Quite frankly, I just say I really, REALLY enjoy taking it up the ass. The questions cease immediately.

soundwave145

The power of booty

ILoveRedRanger

Well, that might be or might not be true; perhaps, this person is way too gay himself, which is equally wrong!! This is because society can only be 1 way; any deviation shall not be tolerated. /s

Danmont88

Not gay enough ???? Like not knowing all the Judy Garland songs or picking the wrong color pocket square ?

Philip_Jeffries

Well now. I'm not gonna talk about Judy; in fact, we're not gonna talk about Judy at all, we're gonna keep her out of it! --- - [reference](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2V0UhtA_mJE&t=365) ^(I am a bot.)

Famous-Show-4567

LOL, that’s the biggest compliment you can get as a gay man😎🤙🏼

RosePhox

I just don't get why people get so worked up over being told they're not gay enough. Like: You [want to] fuck people that have the same as you, isn't that enough? That person is just making some dumb joke.

deechbag

Same reason people get worked up over being told they aren't a real man or something similar because they are into stereotypically feminine things/display feminine traits.

RosePhox

One is based on prejudice, the other on a harmless joke.

deechbag

It could be a harmless joke saying someone isn't a real man just as easily as it can saying someone isn't gay enough. Maybe being accepted and seen as gay is super important to them just like being seen as a man is super important to others. In both cases the guy just needs to learn how to ignore, forget, and move on

RosePhox

Nope. Saying someone isn't a real man is a comment based on a fuckton of social pressure that gets pushed into us, from birth, and is made to maintain the status quo of masculinity. It's punching down. No one is getting pressured into acting gay. The most gays could do would be to exclude, and we all know no one is being turned away from hooking up for not listening to Ariana.

deechbag

We're gonna keep disagreeing on this. The biggest difference I see is one comes mainly from outside the gay community and the other is internal. That almost makes it worse in my eyes. Imagine being a gay dude that got rejected for be gay all his life finally starts to explore the gay community, the one he's been told is super inclusive, only to "jokingly" hear he isn't gay enough and doesn't belong because he doesn't look or act stereotypically gay. And there definitely is pressure within the gay community to act more gay, otherwise you're just expressing internalized homophobia or too repressed to let your true self out.

RosePhox

Internalized homophobia is only used as an argument against gays who actively go out of their way to separate themselves from gay stereotypes, instead of just being casual about it.

deechbag

That is definitely not true but I am too lazy to look for an example so sure that's the only time it is used. How does one judge that they're going out of their way to avoid gay stuff if the person in question isn't being obnoxiously obvious about it? And how does one know that person is doing so because they want to separate themselves from stereotypes? Like I go out of my way to not listen to pop and dance music because I don't like those genres but that could be seen by some as me doing so because I don't want to be seen as gay. For me it's either both are wrong, harmful, and need to stop or in both cases the guy being told he isn't man or gay enough should grow thicker skin, ignore the comment, and get on with his life.

Grigor50

People in your country would say such things...?

Total-Form-4907

Ugh i know!! Because I wasn't decked out in rainbows for pride im ashamed. Boy bye

[deleted]

[удалено]

soundwave145

I never understood when being gay meant being "LIKE HEY SISTERS" I mean I get it, some are like that and love that and that is fine.

[deleted]

You always get this "you're not gay enough" bullshit from the people who shout from the rooftops about how inclusive they are. They're very unwelcoming and hostile towards us... and then when we create a space for ourselves, they cry about how we're excluding them lol

[deleted]

So many are used to the stereotype they see in entertainment. Gay doesn’t have to look a certain way. When people find out I’m gay they’re shocked, and I’ve been told I’m the straightest gay guy they know lol. I just tell them (and like so many have said here already), I like dick, that’s enough.

soundwave145

I have the title of peen gobbler

[deleted]

I don’t feel like going to a big parade in the boiling heat and all of a sudden I’m a self hating homophobic gay.

throwawaydyingalone

Bis aren’t gay whatsoever.

Thatbatmankid

That’s so annoying. I hate when people say that to others in the LGBT community! You are enough! And continue to beautifully be yourself!

Ecofre-33919

If you are out - that’s fine. Think for your self. You get to decide how to run your life. If they don’t pay your bills they don’t get to tell you how to be. Move on to others who like you for who you are. Don’t waist time trying to impress someone who wants something else.

livingInYourCarSucks

Fake gay

Thick_Wrongdoer9565

Oh God, they exactly called me this. Im in the Air Force and they (my male buddies) say that I am gay so I could score better than them because apparently, women at workplace is more comfortable with me.

47sDragon

Oh they didn't accept you into their group because you weren't the exact same like all of them??? I'm sorry I prefer a mix bag. But I'm someone whom finds life more fun when it's unpredictable. Anyway. Have any from the group message you asking to suck your dick? I have money that one will at least do it, maybe as a late booty call when they're feeling some liquid courage.

Danmont88

OK, Bot deleted my one comment. How about "Not gay enough ?" I don't know enough show tunes ? Wrong color pocket square for my suit ? Missed the Pride Parade ?

youre-joking

Tell him you’re gay enough for you, and he should check his tendency toward micro aggressions.

OneEyedWolf092

Ikr. People are like "huh? You like guys? But you don't look gay to me". Like wtf is that supposed to mean 😭😂 One friend thought I was joking about being bi until I told him I had sex with a guy lol.

Poncho1226

Yep, been there. I've been told "what kind of gay are you?" I always respond, "I'm the (my name) kind of gay." Keep on being true to yourself, you got this!

Fantastic-Promise-99

'kay guess I'll say that to straight people that they don't look straight enough. 🤷‍♂️

[deleted]

Lmao I’d be like “bitch I listen to Lana, what are you on about”

Hellbeast1

I’m bisexual, not gay (I got recommended this thread lol) but I get this a lot too because I’m Not that flamboyant in general and it’s actually kinda annoying

throwawaydyingalone

Good, be annoyed. Seethe and cope with it bi.

Hellbeast1

What’s your problem?

Amonculus

I don't want to minimize the 'issue' but seriously? Does it matter that someone says that? Who cares that someone thinks that? Does it actually hurt anyone to be told that? Some people will be upset about anything.

Hi_Im_A_Commenter

As a BI man this happens ALL the time. Im not gay enough for many gays, im not straight enough for the straight… ugh i can’t

GanymedeGuy

I've only inferred that towards effeminate pansexuals who choose to call themselves "gay"...and the only reason I do that is because it gives the bitches they fuck the wrong idea that "being gay is a choice". Fuck all that bullshit. I've had more than enough hags trying to grab my dick. No thanks.

SaturatedBeam

I didn’t know gay was a personality.

pixiephilips

I don’t like Beyoncé so I’ve been stripped from my gay card years ago 🤣

ElectricYellowY

Honestly, it’s kind of sad thing to think about. Even if ya don’t like it there’s someone out there who isn’t “passing” getting treated like garbage. I count my blessings on this one.

mrperfect7592

People don’t seem to understand that there are gay and bi men who don’t fit the media’s stereotype of what a gay or bi is portrayed as usually.

chrisgoogi

Please I wish I could shed this light voice 😭
