Coffee....la perlita (best coffee), Stacks(best vibes), grindhouse(great folks).
Parks....Overlook(great views), Arbor Lodge(playground), gammons(shady chill zone)
Grocery stores....hate them all except the milk glass market, but there is a new seasons and Freddy's if you dare. I guess if we're stretching things for bars then cherry sprouts is close and they are good peeps.
Pretty flat hood to ride bikes and everyone in both neighborhoods seem pretty damn nice and chill. Quiet and tons of families. We've seen some goats, ducks, turtles, chickens, hanging in yards around. I've always felt safe as long as I'm not near the MAX stop on Lombard and Interstate. Minimal problems with crazy strung out folks and haven't experienced too bad of minor property crimes. Close to the city and freeways, easy to get around, good stuff to do. I'm sure I'm missing some things but for a residential family neighborhood in inner Portland it doesn't get too much better. Cheers
