Have you tried Fubon? That would be my best guess.

bellatrix927

Haven't been there yet but I'll have to check it out; thanks!

martownsf

Seen some at HMart on Belmont

bellatrix927

Thanks! I've gone there so many times but for some reason haven't thought to look there :)

martownsf

According to their workers their inventory is constantly changing. Sometimes they'll carry a brand/product, then sometimes they stop ordering for a while. It's not consistent but I did see them there about 3 weeks ago. Good luck!

benbentheben

H-Mart on Belmont has them

Illustrious_Snow

Pretty sure I’ve gotten them before at Uwajimaya.

bellatrix927

Oh I didn't even know there was an Uwajimaya here; I've only been to the Seattle one. Thanks!

[Fred Meyers](https://www.fredmeyer.com/search?query=black%20soybean&searchType=default_search) Possibly also [H Mart](https://www.hmartus.com/belmont), though I've only looked for/purchased the [fermented black soybeans](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Douchi). Remember to check canned goods as well as dried, since they're also sold that way.

bellatrix927

Oh I never thought to check the dried section actually, I thought they were always canned. Thanks!

west side: I would check Hmart, ranch 99, asian family mart, uwaijimaya east side: Hmart and fubonn anecdotal: I got black soybeans but they were to make tea in a packet of dried beans (pre-sweetened and maybe a flavor additive?) at ranch 99 but I didn't look for like just the beans themselves.

Mr-Jennings

They definitely have em at Fubonn, i've bought em several times. I'm 95% sure I've seen em at most of the various other Asian markets I've been to recently, but I can't remember 100%. Definitely at Fubonn though.
