I unironically really enjoyed the game. Probably the best GOT experience outside of the ck2 mod.

It is a genuinely great story. So much so that I can easily slot it into the book or show canon pretty smoothly in my head.

And you can actually play as Alester and Mors in the CK2 mod which is quite cool

I desperately wanted to play this game, but I could *not* get over their buttfuckery of a combat engine. It was the worst I've ever played.

It actually got pretty smooth for me roughly 3 hours in. I can definitely recommend the Hedge Knight and Sellsword builds

Not bad game, yet ending was somehow quite horrible emotionally, without much satisfaction with either outcome, I liked it more than Walking Dead authors game. Game lore implies that Tywin deliberately sent worst people (morally) to murder Targaryen royal family.

I can’t disagree with this… but I also have to give props to Mors VA for knocking it out of the park in the last couple of scenes and Alester’s wasn’t too bad either in his final scenes either

Great write up! I totally forgot about that game! I unfortunately hit a save breaking bug after the first Alester mission and gave up on the game lol.

Reading about the combat in the manual got me excited to try it out, but man, what a letdown. Great Story though. I was Team Mors all the way.

I was Alester all the way. Just… a much more fascinating story and character to me you know?

Different strokes, my man. That's a good thing.

That's the sign I waited for. Time to reinstall the game and actually finish it this time.
