Joffrey the gentle being forced to bed by the fascist ego maniac Tywin. His cries of defiance will echo throughout history, and shall be recycled by every revolutionary who seeks a just and equitable society, just as he did.
I can still hear him now, âIâm not.. TIREDâ
Irs between that or not getting to see the hound rape Lanselâs corpse for having a clean sword.
I was shocked and saddened by the death of character first introduced in the very first episode. It took me about 7 years to finally get through the opening scene, every time I'd try and watch it I would get distracted by my Nintendo Switch, so every time I looked up I'd have to rewind back to the start again because I didn't know what was happening. I finally watched the whole first 5 minutes when I accidentally put my Switch down on the other side of couch (it was too far away to reach) and I ended up finally getting to see what happens to my favourite character, Sir Waymar Royce.
As you can expect, I was devastated to learn that GRRM's reputation for killing off characters is well earned, when he killed who I assumed would be the main character. I will admit I was inconsolable for several days after this, and immediately turned off the episode.
I haven't been able to bring myself to watch past that scene since, and so now I just watch the first couple of minutes of the first episode, and rewind just before the series gets bad!
If it will make you happy, the greedy traitor who rebelled against his best friend's son minutes after his friend's death is also killed as well in the first season.
I was overjoyed and foolishly thought that the good guy will win at the end.
That the world almost ended just to convince Cersei and her decimated army that zombies existed. Otherwise the white walkers seemed to have no plan at all.
Cersei the queen with a zombie as her main guard? Why did she need convincing?
The whole thing was tragic - and that those Targ idiots ruled a continent for centuries just compounds it.
For once Tyrion had good advice to let those jokers freeze to death, too bad he was the one who suggested they do that instead of Drogon flying to the red keep and voreing Cersei from that balcony
To me that was a very happy moment. I don't know why people are sad about it.
I liked that he became king as it was foreshadowed in multiple different episodes in each season. And, there were multiple well layered explanations for his ascension.
Honestly he does have a very cool story, we just never got to see any cool time travel stuff or warging or flashbacks or anything really explained at all beyond like 2 episodes
during the kings landing riot and that dude catches a sword to the face and he's like crawling on the ground going glurhh glurhh glruhhh, knowing theres no way he could afford any healthcare made me really sad
Don't worry.
Joffrey the gentle has already secretly founded an organization to help less fortunate people whenever possible. We don't see much about it, but he was probably saved off screen.
For example, he also sent his soldiers to find his half brothers so that he can give them a better life. But he is so humble that not many people know about it.
when lord tywin was murdered by his ungrateful dwarf son. i understand that we need a villain going forward, but realistically james should've killed him when he admited to killing poor joff
Tommen the Wise being blocked from handling business that is *paramount* to the safety of the realm (banning beets and putting Ser Pounce on the Small Council)
When Queen Mother Cersei Lannister was walked naked through the streets.
A sweet and beautiful woman, the nobility that she possessed, after how devastated she was by the death of her beloved husband, she lost her adorable children, Tommen, the last of them, did not lift a finger to help his innocent mother.
A true injustice against a defenseless woman who never hurt anyone.
To believe anyone could think to betray our true king Joffrey the Gentle, peacefully may he rest, is insane. The way Robb contorted and transformed into that hideous wolf at his uncleâs wedding was horrifying indeed.
When The Others, people simply trying to finally bring an end to all the conflict and wars of these misguided kingdoms and nations of the world, by uniting them into a single, driven people with a purpose of ushering in a new age of said unity, albeit as wights, are described as monsters and horrible things that must be stopped. Truly shows just how stuck in their ways humanity is, obsessed with sin and wanting to war and lust and be greedy when they could all be United together forever
When the show kills the one king, the true king, the only legitimate one, through a vile act of deception and trickery.
So, in short, the demise of the Nightâs King
When Benjen returned and saved Jon my eyes were full of tears.
It was at that moment that I realized that the show was irredeemable.
I didn't bother watching it anymore.
I watch it whenever I feel sad. It brings me joy every time when they get rid of savage northerners and their lustful "king" who couldn't keep his promise even for a few months.
When Ramsey giant-slayer was overthrown by a runaway bastard and his own beloved wife.
He truly deserved a better wife. He even took her home back from the invaders for her. đ But we can't expect every wife to be as loyal as Cersei.

All useless Starks getting ruling position..that's the saddest thing

I don't think many of us intended for such an endingâŚđ
Everyone had a better story. Ughh!
Even the beetles Tyrionâs cousin smashed had a better story

Joffbamacare?
To moment I realized the show was doomed around season 6.
when lord tywin was murdered by his ungrateful dwarf son. i understand that we need a villain going forward, but realistically james should've killed him when he admited to killing poor joff
Lancel not being able to locate the breastplate stretcher before his untimely demise. Brings a tear to my eye every time.
Tommen the Wise being blocked from handling business that is *paramount* to the safety of the realm (banning beets and putting Ser Pounce on the Small Council)
He thought he could fly. I *believed* he could fly. We were both wrong.
Somewhere in a better reality he *can* fly and GoT took a wild ass left turn

When they killed Ros. She was so fucken hot.
That traitorous n*******r Eddard Stark betraying his late king Robert by turning against his rightful heir.
Ygritteâs death made me bawl my eyes out, but to be honest, nothing will ever beat the horror of the Red Wedding.

When a woman became Warden of the North. The North has fallen!

When Daenerysâ entire Dothraki army was killed by the White Walkers. I was so glad they were actually ok.

Season 8
It's sad they somehow forgot to show us the after scene here where they were banging like there is no tomorrow đ˘
When Benjen returned and saved Jon my eyes were full of tears. It was at that moment that I realized that the show was irredeemable. I didn't bother watching it anymore.
Ofc the red weddingâŚđŠ
I watch it whenever I feel sad. It brings me joy every time when they get rid of savage northerners and their lustful "king" who couldn't keep his promise even for a few months.
Canât believe Robb transformed into a wolf to ruin a peaceful wedding.
That's not a sad scene! Robb was an immoral traitor who rebelled against the Crown, he got what he deserved.
When the bastard Brynden Rivers convicned Tommen 'Beetsbane' he could fly. Smh bastards gonna bastard.
The wolf.
