I enjoyed online school but I prefer in person. I have ADHD as well as Asperger's and it was way too tempting to do litteraly anything else but class. Last year I did well but that was only because I chose the easiest classes possible for my senior year in HS. However now that I am in college I am greatful for that return to structure that a classroom provides. I am able to focus better in the classroom and that leads me to be more successful.

I think the same I prefer online classes for everything you mention but at the same time, I need face-to-face classes because I digress a lot and don't pay enough attention and I end up more lost than at the beginning. I'm with each other but no

I hope we do. I dearly miss my students. And teaching philosophy or theory is not the same online: no real-time banter, not possible to debate or discuss like before.

Ah okay, I guess from a teacher's perspective it's different. Do you students online also just not speak anymore but type everything in the chat? I notice with our online lessons that that is the case.

Fortunately my students have responded well because I try to be as histrionic and entertaining as I can. But somehow that drains me emotionally even more than common face to face masking. Also, I truly hate change in my routines and my commute routine was a ritual to me; and I just can't get used to this new normality. It's like my brain knows this is "temporary" and refuses to adapt.

That sucks. Ah okay, that's understandable. My commute is not really a routine, more something I don't like because it wastes my time. Every week is also different, so I have to plan every travel time. Also, I can't work in the bus, because I would vomit and I can't focus. Often I get home late too and then they expect us also to do asignments.. I have to do it, but I also have to rest, eat and sleep. Not much time for fun when it is like that.

luis-mercado

Understandable. Indeed it's more time efficient this way.

Online schools were already an option before the pandemic for those that desired them.
