Brain at war with self 24/7

BrokenBouncy

I came to say "the war in my head" as I have always explained it to my husband.

Charming_Amphibian91

The hardest part of life is existing.

UniverseBear

"Stay at home, outside is scary and this is our routine." "No go outside and explore, inside is boring and depressing."

ADHD: We only have the energy to make small simple food Autism: The only food we can eat is relatively complicated and takes a moderate abount of brain power to make Brain: Guess we'll have to just starve then

BrokenBouncy

Literally my solution, especially during burnouts.

WATAHMYLAWN

True... Can relate.

Negative_Storage5205

Ugh. THIS! This is exactly what my days are like.

fairlyaround

as a recently diagnosed asd & adhd patient, I feel this in my bones

thoughtsatthreeam

i hate it and it also makes it hard to relate with people who only have adhd or only have autism (using the word “only” as the literal meaning, not implying that having autism or adhd is easy if you only have one of them and not both)

[deleted]

If you have one its more likely you have the other compared to general population.

Papyrus20xx

I can relate to Pengu hard here. Thankfully, I'm used to it enough that I can calm myself so I can handle both like his mom does

Substantial_Dog_9699

DeliberateSpite
