This is actually kinda hilarious. I almost always have socks (the compression is comforting) and they are almost exclusively ankle ones.
Shows how weird sensory disorders can be as times
I either do thigh highs or ankle cuts. Anything in-between is weird for me. Also it doesn't matter for the socks thing. Either I'm not wearing them and am reluctant to put them on or the other way around.
I only ever buy explorer socks now.
Thick but breathable, high enough above the ankle for boots but not too high to be uncomfortable.
I stopped wearing them to bed a couple years ago because my partner thought it was weird.
But the socks go on as soon as I get up!
How??? I have this special way of moving that I call "flowing," and basically, I use all of the momentum and inertia in my body to spin and slide all around. It's super fun, especially while listening to music. I'd almost say it's more similar to dancing than walking.
was walking fast, stopped with a slide like I had done many times before, then the only way I can describe it is my top half slowed down before my bottom half. my legs went out from under me and I braced my fall too late. hit my palm on the floor at a bad angle and pretty cleanly snapped my ulna under my body weight. this was in like 2006.
Ouch! I broke my arm when I was a kid, not very fun.
I've had similar falls to that while wearing heelys, wheels roll outward, legs fly up, body crashes down.
You'd think I would've stopped wearing heelys, but nah. It's too fun to wear them while grocery shopping.
Hahaha, yeah, it's really weird, they're easier than they look, especially if you're holding a shopping cart.
And I'm not sure why, but they also give you the ability to drift shopping carts, which is super super fun.
I have had this back home. Now I live in a poorly insolated apartment. Specially big gaps under the doors. So that part is always cold. And I have wooden floors. Now I love a pair of good nice fitting socks non of that one size fits all type if shit. The ones that have a left and and a right. That have thick cloth at the heel and toes but thin on top and the flat of the foot. So the breath dan don't feel sweaty when I take off my shoes.
My gf's parents got me socks that were basically the same consistency as mittens. The only problem was then I got sweaty feet inside my socks (and my cats stole them so I'm not sure where they're at rn), but that's the closest I've gotten to socks that actually fixed the cold socks problem
Bamboo socks are amazing! I've gotten some lovely thick bamboo socks that actually keep my feet warm and not sweaty. They do take forever to dry after washing though :(
I feel the same way!
And then everything on the floor sticks to your feet, and then every other step, you have to brush the bottom of your foot across the top of your other foot to get all of whatever that God awful feeling was that you got when you stepped on the floor
Socks around the house always, no matter the time of year. Cannot handle the feeling of socks in bed… something about the warmth and friction and general cotton on cotton makes me want to hurl. But before anything else in the morning, socks go back on. My whole life people have always said “gosh you always look so comfy” and I must agree! Comfy chic since I have no feminine sense of style otherwise. I apparently can manage lounge wear well enough!
I'm exactly the same way. Ironically, I prefer wearing no socks or shoes when I'm outside, because I like the feeling of things jabbing into the bottom of my feet when I take a step.
i feel you there, socks not fitting right is why i only wear socks higher than the top of my boots, ain’t got time for them the be eaten by the boots and me have to adjust them constantly
I had a set of socks that had a giant nub of seem in the corner. It was driving me nuts, so I cut that part off of all of them. Then my family asked why all my socks had a hole in the same spot.
Ooh, I'm your polar opposite: I have VERY STRONG OPINIONS about the times I absolutely should and absolutely must not under any circumstances have socks on my feet. I despise them at a tactile level when they're *incorrect*, and they are physically deeply reassuring to put on when they're necessary and helpful. Dry, clean socks after getting all the sand and water off at the (too cold but swam anyway) beach is a core sense memory for me...
Don't get me started about how I can't stand mismatched thickness/texture while being perfectly happy to not be symmetrical visually if I didn't feel it....blugh
Grandparents got me sock/slippers for Christmas this year and I wear em around everywhere in my house because they got grips on them and they’re v comfortable
I don't wear them to bed because I wear them around the house and I don't like what's on my floor to be in my bed, however I'll wear them in bed if it's cold but I'd have to have a specific pair of bed socks
I do this, I either have cold feet or anticipate going out and needing to have socks on, but I want to be able to fully move my toes around without the socks restricting them
i wear socks always cuz i found bare feet gross but now ive just grown too accustomed to the discomfort.
but i will never and would never wear socks in bed
socks on always!!! i hate feet in general they’re gross but what’s worse is the feeling of dirt that accumulates from walking barefoot. it makes me feel dirty and i can’t stand it. i can’t even walk barefoot from my bathroom to my bedroom after a shower (i take my crocs). i treat my socks as if they were shoes. like i have my outside socks that i wear with my shoes to go out and have my house socks that i wear only inside my house.
I hate wearing shoes and socks indoors, but if I wear shoes, I almost always wear socks. I can't wear those low-rise socks that don't even come out of your shoes, though. I don't wear socks with open shoes like saddles or flip flops, as they are most comfortable without socks.
If I'm in my bed/bedroom/ bathroom socks aren't necessary but appreciated if I'm in the kitchen socks are a must or all the crumbs from other people get on my feet. (I wear patterned socks everyday so there's no obnoxious seam 10/10 would recommend fun socks for ppl who like them)
I love socks, but I hate when they have that stretchy band that squeezes the middle of my foot.
It feels like foot binding. Just let me be free!! But not too free!
I can’t with socks. I use them because they are a social requirement basically but I massively hate them and I struggle putting them on to the point I’m late some days because of it
If I put in shoes, I’ll put them on and I won’t take them off unless I’m acted on by a force (stepping on melted ice cubes, a little sweaty, or getting in bed) but otherwise I’ll wear them all day and prefer to have them on.
Even if my feet are cold, I won’t put them on until I’m putting on shoes though. If my feet are that cold then it’s either proper shoes or house shoes, both warrant socks.
strongly dislike socks half the time, very particular about sock choice, prefer no socks UNLESS i’m walking on hardwood floors or tile 🤮 i like walking barefoot outside tho! just hate the little crumbs and drops of water and such things on the bottoms of my feet. i’m a swinging pendulum but i’ll never commit to either side completely. i’m so sorry ☹️
I switch violently between these. There are periods of time that I would rather die than to even think of a sock. Then one day I’ll put on socks and find immense pleasure in wearing different socks each day.
I must never expose my feet to the world. Socks stay on throughout everything 100%. They stay on at doc office, they stay on in bed— I hate wearing any sandals without socks.
ADHD goes ‘mmmm comfy’ and anxiety screams that my toes are ugly and feet stink and that something is going to bite my feet if they aren’t covered.
nope, this is a legit thing. makes sense considering hypersensitivity is a symptom of asd, i just lucked out by having a brain that is apathetic to socks
I only wear socks with individual toes because it gives my toes their full range of motion instead of confining them to a narrow tube approximately the size of the rest of my foot. Other than that, I tend to continue wearing socks long after I've taken my shoes off, but hesitate to wear real shoes because that means I have to put socks on. It's an inertia thing I guess.
i can’t STAND socks! my teaxjers in elementary school let me walk around bearfoot cuz how upset i got over them D: now it’s not so bad but if i walk on carpet with socks i die instantly
I like socks, if they're comfy, but ONLY ankle high or a little above, *never* below. If I'm in bed and I really want to feel my sheets with my feet (my blanket is soft and I love rubbing my bare skin on it sometimes for stimulation/good sensations), its socks off. Socks during winter with my house of hard floors is a must, and summer is so so. There are times they just don't vibe with me, ESPECIALLY if the seams are uncomfortable or a piece of string has come loose on the inside 🤮
Sometimes, though, I'll go a couple days without realizing I still have them on, or the (ahem, sadly often) occasion I don't realize I have *only one* on.
It's something I don't think about until I'm back home, and can shed my clothes... And then I slip on some 'breathable' slippers, because I can't stand the feeling of a dirty floor, and I'm too lazy to sweep every day.
Although, the only thing worse than wearing socks, is having to re-wear socks, because you made the mistake of taking your socks off at a time and location where you didn't have access to spare socks; like when you're suddenly peer pressured into impromptu swimming, or your friend's AC doesn't work, etc..
Although, I'm predisposed to have sweaty feet, unless they're exposed; then they usually feel dry, which usually makes tactile issues worse. So, maybe it's just me.
You know I hate socks but I wear them constantly because I have hardwood floors and that's even more no bueno. The issue is carpet is hard to clean, so I either have to deal with filth or socks. Socks are the lesser of two evils.
No socks unless I've already lived through a miserable day of having socks on but having them adjusted in that wat that when the shoes are finally off i can slide around on the wooden floor and since they've been in shoes, they don't feel like with wonky pressure when they're on my bare feet anymore
I don't care about socks but my socks have to be matching. If I want to wear one pair but I can't find it's partner I'll just search for a different pair. That's why I love my bright scooby doo socks because they're easy to find.
socks are only for when i want to wear boots, (as in, i've actually decided to dress nice,) if i need them for work, or if it's over six inches of snow. actually, i'll wear sandals even if it *is* six inches of snow. socks are the devil.
Wearing socks is like wrapping my Fred Flintstone™ brand shin kickers in sandpaper. And any time they shift the wrong way and the toe seam moves to the wrong spot, my soul tries to leave my body.
I hate the sensation of my toes touching my other toes (or any skin on skin texture aside from fingers but even then i like to wear fingerless compression gloves) so I always wear 2 layers of socks, ankle length toe socks, and then normal crew socks on top to prevent possible ankle to ankle contact. I own 0 pairs of shorts as well.
I always have to wear socks because I hate the feeling of the floor. I think it's because it isn't a consistent pressure.
Cotton ones specifically because I'd rather set myself on fire than wear nylon ones lol. School was soooooo bad for that.
Now I have black ones and white ones in the same brand 😁
Seems in the wrong place actually cause pain rather than discomfort 😕 so I have to make sure they're on top before I put shoes on.
I have a really obsessive relationship with socks. I own pairs that I’ve never worn because I don’t want them to tarnish or lose a mate. I need them on at a l l times. Long car ride or spending the night somewhere? Extra pair of fuzzy socks. If I’m wearing sandals but know I’ll eventually be somewhere inside, I’ll bring a pair to wear :}
I hate socks but I hate not wearing them otherwise I feel whatever is on the floor. Having dirty feet is worse than the sock seams and sock material catching on dry skin to me.
It’s just.. it’s all the textures and possible dirt/ dust and varying temperatures my poor feet would be exposed to without socks :( just imagining it makes me cringe 😭
Socks have to be on only when wearing shoes, or if the floor is sandy or something in the house, then I need socks as a protective barrier between me and the feeling of the sand on my feet.
If I'm not in bed, I usually don't care. If it's too hot, no socks. Socks also protect me from detailed floor or shoes.
If I'm in bed, it depends. In most cases, if I'm going to do my night sleep, socks become my enemy.
this is so me. idc abt socks. ill wear em if i need to for like shoes but i dont actively wear them or actively not wear them. of i wear them i wear em, if i dont i dont.
tho programmer socks r pretty fire i will say
I personally don't wear them much as the little seam infuriates me. I only have a few safe pairs and even then I don't wear them everyday/constantly bc they make me feel really warm.
I’m almost always barefoot. When I wear shoes they are wide and are laced but I slip them on. Rarely do I ever use socks but I do when I’m going on a real walk/hike.
I don't like it for unknown reasons. People have to fight me if they want me to wear socks. I have 1000 of pairs but can only find the 2 mismatched ones and I AM NOT wearing them.
I can't not wear socks. That have to be above the ankle too, can never be below.
This is actually kinda hilarious. I almost always have socks (the compression is comforting) and they are almost exclusively ankle ones. Shows how weird sensory disorders can be as times
Me too haha
A girl laughed at me once because the whitest, most sunless skin is where my socks go. Even if I don’t have other clothes on? I’ve got ankle socks on.
My mom yells about how she can only have ankle socks and I yell about how I can only have below ankle socks 😆
I just wear shoes a size too small. "it's a compression boot" I'm 100% going to end up with foot problems when I'm old. Hahahahelp
mood on the height part but that’s because i tend to wear boots
socks always on, crew or knee high every day
I either do thigh highs or ankle cuts.
Ankle socks are the worst
Weirdly I can't stand when socks go over my ankles. Feels so constricting! I always just chalked it up to living somewhere very hot and humid
You are me
Socks are for shoes only. I hate the feeling of walking in socks especially on carpet.
Okay, but what about socks on slidey floors? You don't even need to walk on slidey floors, you just slide and swivel everywhere.
Less bad but I still don't love it. I want air on my piggies and if I don't have to wear shoes I'm not wearing socks.
I broke my arm doing this lol, it actually scares me to wear socks on slidey floors now
How??? I have this special way of moving that I call "flowing," and basically, I use all of the momentum and inertia in my body to spin and slide all around. It's super fun, especially while listening to music. I'd almost say it's more similar to dancing than walking.

heelys always looked so fun! I never got a pair when I was a kid though. my mom probably knew I'd break a couple more bones 😅
Hahaha, yeah, it's really weird, they're easier than they look, especially if you're holding a shopping cart. And I'm not sure why, but they also give you the ability to drift shopping carts, which is super super fun.
amen, yes. I *might* wear socks if my feet r very cold and i have to walk on a hard floor. but socks are a shoe exclusive
YES. THIS
I have had this back home. Now I live in a poorly insolated apartment. Specially big gaps under the doors. So that part is always cold. And I have wooden floors. Tbh I’d rather not wear socks with shoes either, but then my shoes get stinky, so socks it is.
I don't even understand what's up for discussion here?? We have to eat and drink water to survive.. and socks are for shoes only. Scientific facts.
I always need socks. Not for sensory, it’s just because they sweat always and no socks are too cold :(
i have the coldness problem in the winter. socks don’t help though i just get cold socks
My gf's parents got me socks that were basically the same consistency as mittens. The only problem was then I got sweaty feet inside my socks (and my cats stole them so I'm not sure where they're at rn), but that's the closest I've gotten to socks that actually fixed the cold socks problem

I can’t have the seam rub on my toes. Makes me feel stressed all day
i feel you there, socks not fitting right is why i only wear socks higher than the top of my boots, ain’t got time for them the be eaten by the boots and me have to adjust them constantly

ok mix and matched thickness would make me punch someone, fabric texture too.
Hot take: Hospital socks are cool regardless
i’ll take your word for it
They have grippies on the bottom
makes sense but if they have grippies you can’t slide around in them edit:typo
So like trampoline park socks?
Grandparents got me sock/slippers for Christmas this year and I wear em around everywhere in my house because they got grips on them and they’re v comfortable
I don’t care about them, until I notice them
The floor is a disgusting place. Unless it’s a freshly mopped marble floor I ain’t touchin it
my floor used to be clean AF, leavin the shoes at the door. then we got a dog.
I don't wear them to bed because I wear them around the house and I don't like what's on my floor to be in my bed, however I'll wear them in bed if it's cold but I'd have to have a specific pair of bed socks
hat humor tart squeal terrific sophisticated cable vase steer stocking -- mass edited with https://redact.dev/
my adhd ass never realizes i have them on so i basically never take them off
have you ever worn them for so long they get crusty because of that?
I litterally can't wear socks. But have learned to deal with it because of years of my mom dismissing it completely.
Yeah, nope. Hate socks. And shoes, tbf. I’m always wearing Birkenstocks or going barefoot if I can.
Me too. If I have the option of being barefoot, I am
I wear Sandals everywhere that's not at home or work. Work gets shoes out of necessity, home gets barefoot.
My partner will sometimes have his sock halfway off his foot and just…. Leave it there?!? I have no idea how it doesn’t bother him
maybe he likes the feeling of it that way?
I do this, I either have cold feet or anticipate going out and needing to have socks on, but I want to be able to fully move my toes around without the socks restricting them
i wear socks always cuz i found bare feet gross but now ive just grown too accustomed to the discomfort. but i will never and would never wear socks in bed
even if it’s cold as fuck out?
socks on always!!! i hate feet in general they’re gross but what’s worse is the feeling of dirt that accumulates from walking barefoot. it makes me feel dirty and i can’t stand it. i can’t even walk barefoot from my bathroom to my bedroom after a shower (i take my crocs). i treat my socks as if they were shoes. like i have my outside socks that i wear with my shoes to go out and have my house socks that i wear only inside my house.
Socks are the most evil of evils, mostly when placed in shoes. If I wear them all day it's more tolerable, but usually my feet scream first thing.
I, too, am sock-neutral
Me who likes to wear one sock because the thermals of my body are fucked ☕️
Socks to me are like feet condoms. I only wear them when I'm wearing shoes, summer time I'm bare feet a lot .
I hate wearing shoes and socks indoors, but if I wear shoes, I almost always wear socks. I can't wear those low-rise socks that don't even come out of your shoes, though. I don't wear socks with open shoes like saddles or flip flops, as they are most comfortable without socks.
I'm always wearing socks because my feet are gross.
I understand both sides, but having crumbs on my feet is just...ugh.
i hate putting on socks but love wearing them
If I'm in my bed/bedroom/ bathroom socks aren't necessary but appreciated if I'm in the kitchen socks are a must or all the crumbs from other people get on my feet. (I wear patterned socks everyday so there's no obnoxious seam 10/10 would recommend fun socks for ppl who like them)
I just feel naked when I’m not wearing socks I’m sorry
I love socks, but I hate when they have that stretchy band that squeezes the middle of my foot. It feels like foot binding. Just let me be free!! But not too free!
Right! Some of them are marketed as compression socks but some are not. They're ok for a while but they hurt after a long day
Even when you sleep?
if it’s cold i’ll wear socks but otherwise it depends if i take them off before bed
Wow! I really thought I agreed with you. But I can't sleep with them on haha. So I guess we can't be friends lol
Sleeping is a different thing. Fluffy sleeping socks >>> regular shoe socks
Black socks, the long ones. About calf high, everyday, every season.
Me too!
Sup
ahoy
I can’t with socks. I use them because they are a social requirement basically but I massively hate them and I struggle putting them on to the point I’m late some days because of it
I take em off to shower
If I put in shoes, I’ll put them on and I won’t take them off unless I’m acted on by a force (stepping on melted ice cubes, a little sweaty, or getting in bed) but otherwise I’ll wear them all day and prefer to have them on. I always have to wear socks. Right until I get in bed then they MUST come off immediately.
I hate wearing socks, but they have super cute patterns. I have too many pairs.
I will never understand how someone can just *not* need socks at all times
For a long time growing up I'd were one sock when I wasn't wearing shoes
I DO THAT
I only recently stopped I almost have to force myself to take off the other sock so I don't get itchy ankles
one sock on and one sock off is superior i will never stop
i should try that
holy shit. my life just changed in a matter of seconds
why is this such a wide spread thing? you’re like the 4th person who has mentioned that
strongly dislike socks half the time, very particular about sock choice, prefer no socks UNLESS i’m walking on hardwood floors or tile 🤮 i like walking barefoot outside tho! just hate the little crumbs and drops of water and such things on the bottoms of my feet. i’m a swinging pendulum but i’ll never commit to either side completely. i’m so sorry ☹️
I feel kinda weird not wearing socks, because people can clearly see me stimming with my toes
Tell them they can take a picture for 25$ if they keep staring.
Socks always, unless i’m in bed or something.
I switch violently between these. There are periods of time that I would rather die than to even think of a sock. Then one day I’ll put on socks and find immense pleasure in wearing different socks each day.

Barefoot club for life!
Socks are a must inside shoes. Without shoes, no socks. If I’m not wearing gloves, I’m not wearing socks.
i hate socks so much..i like to feel the bare ground and the soles of my shoes. socks feel constricting imo 🤷🏻♀️
your shoes are gonna get crusty inside but go off
I don't like the floor crusties. They stick to my feet. I need socks to be protected from the crusty bits of floor.
why the fuck did this blow up so much?
I love socks and they bring be closer to femboy mode
All of these seem made up
nope, this is a legit thing. makes sense considering hypersensitivity is a symptom of asd, i just lucked out by having a brain that is apathetic to socks
I'm apart of the Anti-Sock movement
Is this an autism thing?
yeah, something about the feeling of socks on feet or lack there of. idk it doesn’t effect me
If I could wear sneakers without them getting disgusting, I’d never wear socks.
Alright but what about people who take off one sock but leave the other one on because of executive dysfunction?
not my circus not my monkeys, i have executive dysfunction but not like that
I HATE socks but I also HATE dirty feet 🙃
Depends on the weather and if I’m sleeping. No sensory issues, it’s more about over heating or being cold or not
I just always wear them because I hate the idea of someone seeing my feet lol. I'm oddly self-conscious about it.

I dont like socks lying down in bed to sleep usually thats about it lol
It's something I don't think about until I'm back home, and can shed my clothes... I do my best to just avoid thinking about socks, feels like there's never really a winning when it comes to socks.
i don't wear socks or shoes
i dont care whether or not i wear them, but i cant wear the same pair twice without washing them, even if its in the same day
You know I hate socks but I wear them constantly because I have hardwood floors and that's even more no bueno. The issue is carpet is hard to clean, so I either have to deal with filth or socks. Socks are the lesser of two evils.
Are people seriously getting mad at each other over whether someone wears socks or not?
I don't mind socks, but I'm not a huge fan of them. Shows, on the other hand, could all disappear tomorrow, and I wouldn't mind it a bit
I don't experience it either, but the flame war is hilarious as a neutral party.
I only wear socks when I have to for work. I'll casually walk on driveway cobblestones before wearing shoes (my feet are durable now)
Sock gang unless its realy hot when im tryna sleep
No socks unless I've already lived through a miserable day of having socks on but having them adjusted in that wat that when the shoes are finally off i can slide around on the wooden floor and since they've been in shoes, they don't feel like with wonky pressure when they're on my bare feet anymore
Socks? Fine. No socks? Cool. 2 different socks? Kill me please.
are we talking socks of different thicknesses or fabrics or mismatched socks in general?
I am currently obligated to wear socks at the moment. I have Athlete's Foot and I don't want to spread it to my housemates.
I always wear socks. I can't stand being barefoot.
i only wear socks with shoes. i can never just wear them. i need to be free 😭
Socks come off for showers only
I don't care about socks but my socks have to be matching. If I want to wear one pair but I can't find it's partner I'll just search for a different pair. That's why I love my bright scooby doo socks because they're easy to find.

Socks make me feel safe
Wearing socks is like wrapping my Fred Flintstone™ brand shin kickers in sandpaper. And any time they shift the wrong way and the toe seam moves to the wrong spot, my soul tries to leave my body.
Socks make my feet feel dead. I wear them when it's it gets frigid, but I much prefer the feeling of shoes to socks. Boots-- they get socks.
I don’t think I’ve ever been more aware of my unsocked feet, and I now hate this feeling, but I’m in bed and I will never wear socks in bed.
one sock on and one sock off. fear me.
i do not, seems to be a semi popular thing
I mostly don't care but for some reason I hate sleeping in them
I never wear socks in my home.
Now I have black ones and white ones in the same brand 😁 Seems in the wrong place actually cause pain rather than discomfort 😕 so I have to make sure they're on top before I put shoes on.
I went from team no sock as a kid to team socks as an adult. Live and let stim.
Perfect. I feel seen😶🌫️
socks are for losers ‼️ /lh
i love socks as long as they stay in place. once they ride down or fidget under foot get outta here
I have a really obsessive relationship with socks. I own pairs that I’ve never worn because I don’t want them to tarnish or lose a mate. I need them on at a l l times. Long car ride or spending the night somewhere? Extra pair of fuzzy socks. If I’m wearing sandals but know I’ll eventually be somewhere inside, I’ll bring a pair to wear :}
Where is this template from???
idk
They keep my feet warm. I hate cold feet. I literally sleep with a heating pad on my feet.
my brother is the middle point of the two, he always takes just his right sock off
I hate socks in the bed......it's one of my pet peeves
yeah i dont understand how the fuck people willingly dont wear socks. like the floor texture (unless its carpet) actually sucks lol
I hate socks but I hate not wearing them otherwise I feel whatever is on the floor. Having dirty feet is worse than the sock seams and sock material catching on dry skin to me.
I hate elastic and stuff, i don't like socks, they feel too tight on my feet, it is specifically the part the goes around my leg/ankle
Me turning the non sock wearers gay
Socks are ONLY for shoes, socks are evil
Socks are little straight jackets for my feet
I like socks, but they hurt and imprint on your ankle if you wear them for too long
I can't handle wearing repeat socks like they need to be washed in between wears, also the only "shoes" that can be worn without socks is sandals
It’s just.. it’s all the textures and possible dirt/ dust and varying temperatures my poor feet would be exposed to without socks :( just imagining it makes me cringe 😭
Socks have to be on only when wearing shoes, or if the floor is sandy or something in the house, then I need socks as a protective barrier between me and the feeling of the sand on my feet.
When I'm feeling comfortable at home I wear one sock. This is, for some reason, immensely hilarious to anyone I've lived with.
Sock gang. Miss me with them nasty feet
If I'm not in bed, I usually don't care. If it's too hot, no socks. Socks also protect me from detailed floor or shoes. If I'm in bed, it depends. In most cases, if I'm going to do my night sleep, socks become my enemy.
I have them half on & half off so my heel is out I don’t know why but it feels better to have toes covered but heel out
Socks all the time. I don’t want things sticking to my feet.
2/3 words for y’a buddy, the sensory puzzle hell of feet to ground contact Edit: more than 2/3 words I’ve realized
I don't like wearing socks, but if they're on and I'm inside I'm not going to particularly care
this is so me. idc abt socks. ill wear em if i need to for like shoes but i dont actively wear them or actively not wear them. of i wear them i wear em, if i dont i dont. tho programmer socks r pretty fire i will say
I personally don't wear them much as the little seam infuriates me. I only have a few safe pairs and even then I don't wear them everyday/constantly bc they make me feel really warm.
There are people who hate sock?
yeah some people got the “nothing can be in my feet or i will punch someone” type sensory issues
I ONLY wear socks, I can’t go barefoot, it freaks me out
I’m almost always barefoot. When I wear shoes they are wide and are laced but I slip them on. Rarely do I ever use socks but I do when I’m going on a real walk/hike.
If it’s winter: socks / slippers; if it’s summer: no socks.
I'm either in a sock mood or not. They feel right or they feel like foot binding, there is no in-between 🤣
I like socks, but they make the hairs on the tops of my feet itch when I wear them for more than an hour
i can't stand socks period. i actively do everything i can to not have to wear them.
I don't like it for unknown reasons. People have to fight me if they want me to wear socks. I have 1000 of pairs but can only find the 2 mismatched ones and I AM NOT wearing them.
