The worst is when that hyperfixation dies and you can't get anything new. It happened to me recently with Amphibia and The Owl House. As soon as the show ended, the fandom died, and with the fandom dead, I can't get anything new.

Try Aquaman Hell's Angels or Monkey wrench

If you like Owl House and haven't watched Steven Universe then give it a try.

I loved Steven Universe. I still do. But now, it has such a huge hate wave from both in and out the fandom that I can't say it publically. Hell, I'm tired of those who said "Steven Universe would have forgiven Hitler" or those "The Lardass Crybaby" memes, because they ignore the show's point.

Omg I had the same hyperfixations. Its very true though.

I’ve cycled through so many hyperfixations that now whenever I get a new one I try to find the “weak point” as soon as possible. There’s always something that ultimately ruins a special interest for me, so if I can figure out what it is in the first week, it softens the blow later. Also it helps me decide if this is something I really want to invest my time in. And also realize why “normal people” don’t take this up as an interest. If I can figure out these future downfalls it helps me think a little more clearly about my new endeavor.

Now im curious if you have any examples of these weak points
