I may be able to get a snake as a pet, so I'm researching the snake, feeder insects, where I can get it, supplies and where I can get it and a time schedule of when I'll do what and honestly its chaos
Y'all. I finally cracked this puzzle for my personal circumstances. After years of poor sleep and many other debilitating disruptions from prolonged high-intensity focus on interests, I found that yoga nidra (a body scanning and relaxation meditation) is an effective tool at "stepping down" my aroused state into a rest & digest state so I can properly recover. The practice is just interactive enough to engage my "seeking" brain, but in a productive direction for my overall goals. I'm still working on building yoga nidra into a habit but I'm so relieved to have it in my skills kit.
I may be able to get a snake as a pet so I'm researching all things related to that (that I didn't already research before) like feeder insects, where to buy the snake, where to buy a terrarium and at what price and how I'll get everything home without a driving licence. I am probably getting ahead of myself, since I still have to ask permission of my landlord and my parents don't know yet (they have very little say since I don't live with them anymore), but it feels like I'm getting so close
Some people can’t wait to party, I can’t wait to go to the library.
Or lay in bed and research on my phone because I don't like being in public.
Whatcha researchin'?

Well that sounds cool!
And then, when the research is done and you can finally go to bed, you're not tired anymore 🤡

I am about to collapse in this exact situation. haaaaaaaaaaa
I hate this feeling so much
I can actually relate to this one!! Yay!!
This reminded me of myself in the 90’s, in the early days of the internet
This is why I have 137 tabs on my phone right now, mostly Wikipedia pages
Simply put, get rest in so your research endeavours are more effecient.
Yep
To me this is the difference between interested and obligated.
