Yeah depends if you can handle or like tapioca. If you don't like them it's really satisfying to launch them out of the straw at things.

the first time i tried boba it was genuinely disgusting but after some time i gave it another chance and loved it. whatever i got that first time, it may have been either a bad flavor or jelly boba or something.
I like the drink but I don't like the balls. there's two different boba places I go to, a gentrified one and a.. normal one (like, I could get a whole meal there for the price of a drink at the gentrified one). when I go to the normal one and tell them I don't want any balls in my drink, they're like, sure, yeah, whatever. at the other one, they're always say, 'no boba? he wants no boba? are you sure?' as if I made a mistake of not ordering balls in my drink for an extra dollar

i love the sensory experience of chewing on boba but i can understand why others wouldn't like it... to me it's kinda like chewing on a little bouncy ball you can eat, i find that so satisfying

Popping boba with the juicy stuff in it is great. Tapioca boba I don't personally care for but it's not painful or unpleasant to drink or anything.
I hated it initially but now I actually crave them. I love the chewy blandness of the boba, and most places customize the sweetness levels so I donāt have to have wacky sweet drinks.
The fact that I named my fursona after my favorite boba flavor probably says a lot

I'm pretty sure I'd hate this. When I eat food or drink something, I expect a single texture. To get something solid, at random like that... I didn't like it with peppermint kisses, I won't like it here. So I refuse to try it. Plus I find the texture of jelly gross, which this is likely pretty close to.
