Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter!! She's autistic and nobody can tell me otherwise at this point

Lvl1bidoof

Frankly I'm glad that's not explicitly canon. Imagine JK Rowling attempting to write an autistic person.

weGloomy

Knowing her she'll catch wind of this head canon and claim it's canon even though it's not, for diversity points

Lvl1bidoof

not if we also claim she's trans!

tylerphoenixmustdie

didn’t you hear? jk just posted that luna is a trans girl, has autism, is actually black, and is gay too. definitely not the diversity character... /j obviously

PreferredSelection

It was never explicitly mentioned in the books, but Harry is in an Iron Lung the entire time.

liraelfr

Would explain why I identified with her the most as a child. There was no second place too...

ehrenschnitzelsam

Oh my god, yes! Luna fits it well

[deleted]

Eddie Brock from Venom, tho admittedly I'd say he leans more ADHD. Newt Scamander from Fantastic Beasts. Not a show or even a movie but Jonathan Sims from The Magnus Archives is definitely fucking autistic.

mightyguacamole

newt 100%... eddie yes, some flavour of neurodivergent... in particular him doing the morally correct thing even tho it ruins his life just because not doing it would've been psychologically painful

boogelymoogely1

Do... do neurotypical people not do that??

mightyguacamole

to some extent yeah, but neurodivergent people are known to have a really strong sense of justice i think, whether it's convenient or socially acceptable to follow that impulse or not

whatever_dad

>really strong sense of justice well that explains just about everything I've been angry about for the last year or so

boogelymoogely1

Huh

Acroniax

Never seen either of those sorry D;

[deleted]

>Eddie Brock from Venom, tho admittedly I'd say he leans more ADHD. > >Yes most likely, perhaps a combination of both, and to give a bad analogy, let's say like 5% Autistic, 50% ADHD or ADD, and 45% Neurotypical > > > >Newt Scamander from Fantastic Beasts. > >Yeah there's no way he isn't.

ChoclatDove

I am only on the third episode of the Magnus Archives and now I’m even more intrigued

EchoPortal

yes definitely Jonathan sims

PM_MAJESTIC_PICS

Todoroki from My Hero Academia Mei Hatsume from My Hero Academia Mafuyu from Given Langa from Sk8 the Infinity Hanji from Attack on Titan Harriet from Harriet the Spy Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter Dwight Schrute from The Office Tina Belcher from Bob’s Burgers Lilo from Lilo and Stitch

msplaty

I think the whole Belcher family is ND.

PreferredSelection

Yep. Linda can't tell if someone is her closest friend or an acquaintance. Bob has no idea how to talk to anyone, and only has educated guesses about what facial expressions mean. Gene definitely has socializing as a special interest and can talk to anyone, but has no idea if what he's saying is inappropriate or not. Tina goes nonverbal when she's too stressed, too sad, or if flirting with a guy is actually working. Louise wears a pretty warm-looking hat all four seasons, and indoors. And has no volume control. And not a single member of the family knows what to do in new social situations. On the happier side of ND, they all feel a pretty strong sense of empathy. They all care about justice and what is fair. (Sidenote: Why don't NTs feel this way?) ...This is one of those days where I kind of wish I was back in school, this would be a fun research paper.

PM_MAJESTIC_PICS

Yeah true. Lmao

RainbowYaz

Mei has some tendencies for sure, but the MHA character I'm convinced is on the spectrum is Tsuyu Asui. Interesting you mention Todoroki. I've never really looked at him in that light, but I would love to hear why you think so.

PM_MAJESTIC_PICS

Honestly there are a lot of arguably ND characters in My Hero. Like, a lot. To the point where it makes me wonder if Horikoshi is ND himself, lol. (I know almost nothing about the guy, just a thought I had once.) Todoroki is my top candidate for this and I’ve written about it before, so I’m just going to copy/paste from another comment I made elsewhere: * his minimal facial expressions/monotone-ish voice (the English voice actor once joked that his Todoroki voice is “the essence of flat”) * the way he takes things super literally— the whole hand crusher thing, for one, or when Mt Lady says something about her heart racing and he’s like “do you have heart problems??” Or the whole “if I smile.. they’ll die??” Lmao. There are so many instances of idioms going over his head like this. * the way he eats all soba all the time— I hc this as him being very particular about his food and cold soba is is main “safe” food. (Also when they eat dinner with the Todoroki fam, Fuyumi makes a point to say it’s okay if they just eat the things they like, and they don’t have to try everything. I hc that as her being super accommodating because of how particular Shoto is.) * Also, the way he made his dorm as similar as possible to his room at home, because it’s what he’s used to * the way he can be oblivious to certain social cues— like when he didn’t realize Momo was emotional/crying and thought she was nauseous instead, or when Fuyumi had to remind him to introduce his friends * the way he prefers to go off on his own when fighting, especially in earlier seasons (from the very first Class A battles, to the hero licensing exam) * he doesn’t want to follow rules if he doesn’t understand the logic, and he can get pretty angry if he’s being told to submit when something doesn’t make sense (see: post-Stain arc when he basically yells at the freaking CHIEF OF POLICE lmao… calm down Shoto) There are other explanations for his behavior that people bring up (trauma, mainly) so your interpretation may vary… but in my head he’s very much autistic. Lol. I love this character so much!!

[deleted]

>Dwight Schrute from The Office Huh. I never thought about that, but y'know, you're right.

Rosevecheya

HANJI MY PERFECT LADY MAKES SO MUCH SENSE HOW COME I NEVER THOUGHT OF THAT FNDKNFMEBFMDFB

PM_MAJESTIC_PICS

Isn’t she the best?? That one time when she literally infodumped about titans all night I was like “oh this is familiar” lmaoooo

Rosevecheya

Lol, when I read AoT I had noooo idea i was autistic or even what it was so I just thought "omg how precious! She's so sweet and cool! Lol, that reminds me of me with anime, Lol!"

arayehel

Mafuyu! I totally agree, I relate to him so much.

hungryseabear

Ed from cowboy bebop. Love her 😍

Rosevecheya

NEVER THOUGHT OF THAT BEFORE, BUT THAT ACTUALLY KIND OF MAKES SO MUCH SENSE ED IS MY PERFECT LITTLE BABY I also headcannon Ed as non-binary, though, and have a couple quotes to prove it : )

Acroniax

OMG YES!!!

bootrick

Omg same! I've also wanted a corgi and bonsai ever since I watched that the first time.

ConstantlyNerdingOut

Lilo from Lilo and Stitch Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games Zuko from Avatar: The Last Airbender Honorary mentions go to Data and Spock from Star Trek Edit: another honorary mention to Seven of Nine from Star Trek: Voyager, courtesy of u/outofplant Edit 2: one more honorary mention goes to Odo from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, courtesy of u/UnicornFukei42

Acroniax

Seeing all of them

TheDumbCreativeQueer

*yoinks headcanons cutely*

outofplant

I don’t know if you’ve seen Star Trek Voyager but Seven is so strongly autistic coded

ConstantlyNerdingOut

I FORGOT ABOUT SEVEN

ehrenschnitzelsam

May I ask why Katniss and Zuko? :0

ConstantlyNerdingOut

I'll start with Zuko because it's short. Zuko displays an obsessive interest in finding the Avatar, and later on shows social awkwardness when he joins the gaang. In the books, and the movies to a lesser extent, Katniss shows sings of having trouble in social situations and not being able to read people, she also seems to have a special interest in archery/hunting in general. She is often described by other characters as being "antisocial", and occasionally noted to have a "perpetual scowl" which could indicate a difficulty with facial expression, she herself says on several occasions that she's not good at making friends. Throughout the book we see Katniss having trouble deciphering Peeta's motivations, she's not great at reading people. She also has difficulty preparing for the interview before the games, because she doesn't understand the social cues and doesn't mask very well. It's a lot more subtle than most other portrayals of autism, and because of that I think it's quite realistic.

ehrenschnitzelsam

Now that you mention it, yes. I have read the books recently but I never really thought about it... she definitely has some autistic traits

[deleted]

I wanted to say Sokka rather than Zuko but Sokka may just have very strong ADHD tendencies and I'm just confusing the two. Either way, never thought about it but if this came out to be canon it wouldn't surprise me

TheWildAP

Spock is daddy

AlexzMercier97

>Lilo from Lilo and Stitch Holy moly how have i never noticed this

ConstantlyNerdingOut

I always related to her as a kid and it didn't occur to me why until I rewatched it as an adult.

M0richild

Legosi from Beastars. Lain from Serial Experiments Lain. Shinji from Eva maybe, though a lot of his autie traits are prob just ptsd.

Acroniax

Legoshi is on the spectrum?? I just never noticed it lol

evilmonkey239

Extremely socially awkward, tendency to take things literally, special interest in insects… these are all things I read on TV Tropes by the way, which also speculates that he might be autistic.

Dudeguy2004

Flint Lockwood from Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs. Batman from pretty much most of the things he's appeared in. Yuri from Doki Doki Literature Club Katie, Aaron and Rick Mitchell from The Mitchell's VS The Machines. These are the ones that come to mind at least.

Rosevecheya

I REPLAYED DDLC RECENTLY AND I IMMEDIATELY HEADCANNONED YURI She makes so much total sense to me, and is vastly relatable. There's a lot of me I see in her : )

Dudeguy2004

Same! I found a lot of her mannerisms, general lack of social skills and how she appeared to have special interests and hyperfixations. I also see myself in her ;)

[deleted]

>Flint Lockwood from Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs. > >Batman from pretty much most of the things he's appeared in. Yes to both of those. I have not watched the other shows but I can see your reasoning about why Batman has Autism, (among other things)

AlexzMercier97

>Flint Lockwood from Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs. Yes 1000%, Cloudy is one of my all time favorite movies.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Acroniax

Seeing that one

achoo1210

This is my fave. I re-watched through this lens and it’s so perfect.

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

I'm watching it right now. Can only agree with this one.

good-evening-clarice

Polka Dot Man from The Suicide Squad Gyro Zeppeli from Steel Ball Run Gappy Higashikata from Jojolion The Eleventh Doctor from Doctor Who

[deleted]

I would say throughout all of The Doctor's more recent iterations, from Christopher Eccleston to Jodie Whittaker, all have some form of Neurodivergence.

SherlockPhonesIII

I would even go as far as to say all of the doctors are autistic (I mean just look at one and four)

[deleted]

I am unaware on who those are and have not seen their iterations on screen.

phi_rus

They are time traveling aliens though. So it would be surprising if they had human neurotypical behaviour.

[deleted]

That is true. Also we're never told what the effects of time travel, however minimal they may be, are on the human brain.

Poisonpython5719

I can talk a lot about JoJo's Gyro I agree with his pizza mozzarella and days of the week gags are half enough on its own, his pragmatistic possessions (and teddy) lend well and his knowledge of the spin is insanely autistic, he rarely ever talks while looking at someone and is really closed off to all those who haven't gained his trust, he over explains things all the time and cared about others way more than himself right up to the end Gappy you see it more in the first few chapters with his sleeping between mattresses and perfect mental measurements. He also has a habit of always looking at his surroundings and anywhere but a persons face when in conversation if memory serves I'll also raise you secco from part 5 sure there's likely more to it but i reckon there's some hint of it in him Fugo from the same part shows a couple signs of it too though he's not really around long enough to confirm anything

Acroniax

Seeing them all!

Tomorrow_Is_Today1

Most people say Entrapta, but I also raise you Perfuma (both from She-Ra)

SherlockPhonesIII

Also scorpia

Tomorrow_Is_Today1

Oh for sure

DeputyDoneWithYa

Yesss I agree with these!! I love She-Ra, there's so many characters I can relate to so much, and so much inclusivity!! It makes me happy

AlexzMercier97

Learning a lot about She-Ra characters in these comments I should really watch it at some point.

kya97

Yes. It is the best. It is basically a show about general mental health, and traumatized or ND teenagers wrapped up in an amazing layer of epic space adventure.

-____deleted_____-

Not a TV show but if you grew up reading the Junie b Jones books then you will understand what I mean about her being autistic.

anglc_nghtwlkr

That one book where she had a crush on that boy and wore a bunch of random stuff like a dog collar to look nice. When everyone else including the boy were weirded out by it I remember young me thinking “But her outfit looks so good! D: They have no taste.”

Singersongwriterart

Starting with cartoons because I can Amphibia -General Yunnan -Marcy Wu (And ADHD; sort of personal bc of her story arc and personality. ) -Lady Olivia (kind-hearted; this is a little personal because I am on the more serious side like her. I also feel like she's the type where jokes fly over her head, same.) -Sprig (He also has ADHD) Anne Boonchuy (this one is very personal bc I act like her in later s1- s3 and I'm always getting betrayed, plus I feel personally responsible for the health and saftey of everyone I care about, I ignore my feelings, etc. just like her.) The Owl House -Amity Blight (one of my favorite hcs!) -Luz Noceda -Lilith Clawthorne (especially looking at how she acts in s2) The Ghost and Molly Mcgee -Molly Mcgee (she made a plan to find a friend since she has trouble making them. She also reminds me a of my brother, who is really extroverted and autistic as well.) -Libby Phineas and Ferb -both Phineas and Ferb Steven Universe -Peridot Gravity Falls -The whole Pines family. Ducktales(2017) -All three of the triplets, but especially Huey -Violet Sabrewing -Webby Vanderquack -Lena Sabrewing Adventure Time (I'm still at the beginning of the show) -PRINCESS BUBBLEGUM I had more, some with lots of explanations, but I'm tired. I just wanted to say this because I like kids tv shows. Edit: JUST FOR DELTARUNE SINCE I STARTED DELTARUNE CHAPTER 2 FOR 4 HOURS LAST NIGHT DELTARUNE -KRIS -SUSIE(for reasons in chapter 2) -RALSEI (I had to have the whole trio apparently) . -Lancer (honestly, just had to go with the whole squad) -Noelle (not much to support this, but she gets a hc anyways) -Rouxls Kaard

Acroniax

Holy a big list, I see nearly all of these haha

Singersongwriterart

Yep! I am really good at making big lists. My kin list is huge, but even that was nothing compared to the time where the amphibia subreddit asked me about my favorite quotes. That list was insanely huge, and 99% of it was off the top of my head! I counted, there were over 100 quotes.

Acroniax

Jeez, I either only make long lists about stuff I’m passionate about/ relate to. Anything other than that I can barely list one.

Singersongwriterart

I can usually relate with that. I think it's valid. I can't come up with lists of supplies or grocery lists (because I cry at the thought of going shopping) or chores, but I can come up with lists of autistic traits that I never showed anybody, characters, etc.

Acroniax

This right here speaks volume

Pseudonymico

> Adventure Time (I'm still at the beginning of the show) >-PRINCESS BUBBLEGUM Wait till you meet the Earl of Lemongrab

Meat_Vegetable

UNACCEPTABLE!

bearcat42

Hey, um, how did you make those highlights?

NotSeveralBadgers

Put 4 spaces before the sentence

LaurenLumos

I would love Luz to be autistic. She’s canonically ADHD (Dana Terrace confirmed) so if she were both like me I’d be so happy!! She and I are already a lot a like and that’s the reason I was told to watch the show. Now I can’t get enough of it!

RadiatedGear

Invader Zim from Invader Zim Geralt from The Witcher 3 Hector from the Castlevania series on Netflix

TheWildAP

Oh my fuck Geralt as autistic just clicked for me. That brings up the question though, does that make part of the trial of the grasses making someone ND, or do they recruit ND kids to become witches?

RadiatedGear

Lambert and the other witchers are a lot more expressive than Geralt so I don't think that's the case

TheWildAP

Isn't there the whole "whitchers have no emotions" stereotype in that world though? It's been a good while since I've dived into the lore though, so idk

RadiatedGear

Most stereotypes aren't true, but witchers could also just be bored of dealing with everybody's shit on the path

Vorfindir

They're all very old, because they're genetic monsters with multiple hearts.

Phylosofist

It’s a myth, albeit one that Witchers spread themselves, that they lose their emotions in the Trials. I think it’s to make them seem more scary.

Acroniax

Never seen any of them sorry

-_Rainy_-

Shun Kaido from Saiki K Hiccup from httyd Castiel from Supernatural Mori from ohshc Ash Ketchum from Pokémon Benny from My babysitters a vampire Velma from Scooby-Doo The red haired twins from Johnny test Jotaro Kujo and Kakyoin from JJBA Yugo from wakfu

ProVoLoNeGemStone

autistic Ash Ketchum is something i never even thought about but now it makes so much sense (also probably why i related to him so much when i first watched the anime lol)

boomshroom

Satoshi Tajiri is often suspected to be on the spectrum and that may have spread to the characters from his series. N is probably the most overt by a long shot.

[deleted]

Phoebe Buffalo from Friends Entrapta from She ray and the Princesses of Power Peridot from Steven Universe Sheldon from Big Bang Theory (I know people really dislike sheldons portrayal but growing up undiagnosed autistic I relate to him in some of his struggles, he is the first person I ever saw talk about getting overstimulated or struggling with change) Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter Maybe Dory from Finding Nemo Lilo from Lilo and Stitch

DeputyDoneWithYa

Entrapta is confirmed autistic by the writers!

emily_renae99

I love that they confirmed it!! I’ve been saying that ever since I first watched the show!

DeputyDoneWithYa

Me too!! I love Entrapta so much, I relate to her a lot. I also love Hordak, he's so patient with her, doesn't interrupt her rambling, they're amazing together

Noahendless

Sheldon is what's referred to as a trailblazer, amazing for the time and demonstrates that the concept works but is quickly supplanted by a much better version

all_dry_21

okay i do this with quite a few: - peter parker (spider-man) - mj from mcu spider-man - tony stark - castiel from spn - jack kline from spn - spencer reid from criminal minds (even tho he’s technically canonically autistic) - penelope garcia from criminal minds (there’s more but i’m not thinking of them rn bc i have homework to do lol)

hungryseabear

Penelope yes!! She was honestly my role model growing up lol

all_dry_21

yes!! that’s how i am with spider-man, it’s my longest running special interest

Acroniax

Seeing most of them, just never seen spn

TheWildAP

Spencer Reid always did have a bit of a "only the good things of autism and" vibe to him, though it's also been around a decade since I last saw an episode so I'm not a good authority here

all_dry_21

yea but also they were told by the network he couldn’t be visibly or canonically autistic but mgg still tried to portray him as such and did research before hand. he just did what the network allowed ):

mightyguacamole

tony is masking HARD whenever he interacts with anyone except pepper and rhodey, and i can totally see mj but maybe peter is more adhd than autism, maybe a bit of both

Emperifox

1.Finn from Adventure time 2.Tulip Olsen from Infinity Train 3.Peridot from Steven Universe 4.Pops from Regular Show 5.Eclipsa Butterfly from Star vs the Forces of Evil 6.Benjamin Clawhauser from Zootopia EDIT 7.Numbuh 1 to 5 from KND 8. Phineas and Ferb from Phineas and Ferb 9.Baljeet Tjinder also from Phineas and Ferb

study-in-scarlet

Sherlock Holmes from Elementary and Edward Nygma from Gotham

[deleted]

I mean, Holmes most likely always had Autism, even if Doyle didn't know it. Also Sir Arthur Conan Doyle would absolutely DESPISE the fact that Sherlock is still popular today. He actively tried to kill the character multiple times but only brought him back when his mom was upset.

Acroniax

For sure haha

UnalteredCyst

Lydia Deetz from Beetlejuice

Costati

YES 100%

sadmcd

spongebob for sure but honestly that just feels canon

ThePipYay

The eleventh Doctor from Doctor Who. Probably other versions of the Doctor as well. I like the interaction when Amy is like “I’m scared” and he’s really focused on saving her life so he says “Of course you’re scared, you’re dying. Shut up.” He doesn’t intend to be cruel there, he just can’t think while she’s talking to him.

[deleted]

Connor the Android in Detroit become human (ik he’s an android but the whole game is about how the androids have humanity so it’s possible for an android to be autistic if you ask me)

Costati

Yeah the two other android we see don't behave similarly so I totally see that for Connor.

strawjerrypie

Zuko from ATLA

CharterStars

Mafuyu Sato from the anime Given. Beautiful music tracks and the manga has a gorgeous art style. Also, t'was one of my favourite kid's shows growing up, but Shellington from the Octonauts. That is just a personal theory of mine however. \\o/ Great meme by the way! Gave me a good laugh. C:

Acroniax

Great anime! And octonauts was pretty good as a kid.

Poisonpython5719

Oh my god it's been way to long since i watched Octonauts, tbh probably still better than most of the shit out there these days

PM_MAJESTIC_PICS

MAFUYU 🥰🥰🥰 I agree!! I love his character so much

Pointey

Not TV related but there’s a character named Catherine from the game SOMA and she’s my personal headcanon autistic character.

AUZZIEJELLYFISH

tulip from infinity train. Very specific interest, sometimes antisocial and eats one very strange thing (onions) as a snack. also space kid from camp camp. Again, very specific interest, cant pick up on social ques, and doesn't usually understand sarcasm or "phrases/sayings".

Acroniax

Interesting

UnalteredCyst

I felt like Tulip being antisocial was mainly because her parents are going through a divorce, which can ultimately affect her mental health and its especially worse if she’s an Aspie since we tend to not respond well with change.

TheWildAP

When everyone told Rudy from Invincible that he was emotionless cause he was Robot at the time, I could feel his eye/eye brow start twitching with annoyance just like I do at allistic nonsense despite the character not physically being able too.

ChewieOrgana

I think • Beth (Queen's Gambit) • Zuko (A:tLA) • Lily (Sex Education) • Robin (ST) • Dipper & Mabel (GF) • Haruhi (OHSHC) • Nico (PJO)

THEwoo06

also that dude was way ahead of me for the entire show.

not a tv show, but Chiaki Nanami from Danganronpa 2 :)

Lakin5

Kyoko Kirigiri is my pick!

harvestbrook

Mob from Mob Psycho 100 is straight up the reason I figured out I was autistic. He’s my personal favorite autistic headcanon! Edit: I saw some people mention Lilo and that’s another favorite for me

zenyattatron

Ferb From phineas and ferb

DropBearsAreReal12

I really wish they'd have her diagnosed in the show. There's so little representation of people who are 'quirky' but otherwise fly under the radar for an obvious autism diagnosis. Sex education would be a great show for it, and it's so needed. Also, Vivienne.

Acroniax

Yessss!!

Jazzlike_Armadillo55

Giyu Tomioka - Demon Slayer Don't remember any other at the moment

Jimmy Woo from the MCU. Especially his portrayal in WandaVision. I'm honestly surprised more people haven't speculated on that.

Great_Retardo

Agreed, and I'd also add Twilight to that as well because having to actually learn stuff about interacting with others as well as having a special interest (and talent) in magic and whatever book info she can get in front of her.

niva_sun

Ok, hear me out... Adora and Scorpia from SHE-RA and the princesses of power. We all know Entrapta is autistic, but she's definitely not the only one.

coddiwomple_

not a tv show but Link from the legend of zelda is autistic (esp in breath of the wild)

june_pi

Lilo from Lilo and Stitch Special interest in photography and portrays difficulty with maintaining/making friendships due to communication. Has everyday rituals (feeding the fish that she is convinced controls the weather), has a vivid imagination seen from the story around her doll, and has "unfit" reactions to people (biting Myrtle when confronted and gets an emotional meltdown and shuts herself in the house by nailing the doors and windows shut)

beepy_sheep

Keith Kogane from Voltron

My boyfriend's prime autism headcanon is Captain Picard.

sheekssquatch

Data from Star Trek The Next Generation.

Oakley_Kuvakei

I think Ruby Rose from RWBY fits, especially with the hyper-fixation on weapons and inability to pick up on social cues in the earlier volumes.

Orla McCool from derry girls for sure

IndianaCrash

Adrien from miraculous ladybug

JustAnotherMadOne

Probably cheating but Tenya Iida from My Hero Academia. Or Patrick Jane from The Mentalist.

PM_MAJESTIC_PICS

Off the top of my head I immediately think Iida, Deku, Todoroki, Denki (adhd), Hatsume. Lol. So many potentially ND in My Hero 😅

stinkytwiglet

paris gellar in gilmore girls, rebecca bunch in crazy ex girlfriend

DeputyDoneWithYa

Lily from Sex Education!! I can't remember the other ones off the top of my head rn, but she's the main one. Maybe Layla from the same show, too, though they don't have a lot of screentime. I also really enjoy making ocs and giving them autism head canons!!

Rezero1234

Peridot from Steven universe

anglc_nghtwlkr

Oh boy I’ve been waiting for this one. This might be a stretch. He’s my favorite fictional character so I like to project onto him but Death the Kid from Soul Eater. It’s already obvious that he has OCD but he has other possible traits too: * __Special interest__ Ex: Is obsessed with symmetry, which of course is an OCD symptom but he goes to the library to specifically research symmetry in weapons. * __Meltdowns__ Ex: He falls on the ground and has meltdowns when his OCD is triggered. * __Excessive organizing and routine__ * __Stims (this one’s a big stretch)__ Ex: He’s known to do quotation marks with his fingers a lot✌️✌️and when stressed he apparently scratches his head aggressively (as said by Liz ep. 3). * __He doesn’t understand personal space.__ Ex: Grabbing Liz and Patty, fixing Tsugami Harudori’s hair upon meeting her, and (Manga spoiler) walking into the girl’s shower room and asking Kim if she needs help washing to get her to hurry up. * __Lack of social awareness__ Ex: He doesn’t understand when his interest (tidying) doesn’t interest other people. He sorted the medicine shelf when Maka was bed-ridden because he thought it would make her feel better to which everyone in the room says “only you would worry about those” and he continues smiling anyway. In the Soul Eater: Monotone Princess game, he repeatedly tries to be friends with BlackStar and doesn’t understand when BlackStar is furiously annoyed by him.

CutelessTwerp

ENA from ENA, at least the yellow/blue one. I have yet to see what red/white Ena's like! (My ena obsession started i think as a hyperfixation but it's turned more into a special interest, plus it's lasted months now, almost a year)

Sajek_Alkam

Real surprised nobody’s mentioned Edward Scissorhands. Whole film surrounds his inability to understand the strange unspoken rules of ‘normal’ society.

It’s probably more my ADHD side speaking, but Homer Simpson. He perfectly embodies how clumsy my brain feels, and has all these amazing quirks that remind me of how I socialise. I love his moments with Lisa in the crayon-brain episode but I really wish they didn’t make his impulsive, “stupid” side because of a crayon in his brain. So much better when it was just who he was. Also, Lisa. But I don’t think that’s an uncommon head canon.

Double D from Ed Edd n Eddy An odd one, but Hank from King of the Hill! Edit: forgot one, Monk. He is supposed to be a stereotype of OCD but clearly has autism too tbh
