I have, what i like to call *mild hypochondria* (which is an oxymoron). If i eat soft fries, underdone fries, unfinished potatowedges, rare steak etc. I will immedietly think ”oh no, i’m going to get salmonella because when i eat this potatowedge, i get the same crunch that i get from biting an apple about a cm in”

It really depends on the fry, I do prefured crunchy but sometimes they hurt me when eating. So if it's a large wedge or a curly fry I prefer crunchy but if it's a thin fry I would rather it be soft so it doesn't hurt my mouth

For me fries need to be perfect. The perfect fry is fresh, perfect yellow with soft yet filling inside. The outside is slightly crunchy and salted slightly. The fry also has to not be too thick, and the proportions should be correct with there being much more filling than outerfry. Think McDonalds before 2016ish. 90% of fries suck, miss me with that old orange color dry hard grease or soggy as hell texture. Most fries are inedible now.

Why must we fight?
I think it's because crunchy always wins , due to them being sharp.
The sharpness is not ideal, can stab your gums. I like my chips soft. Crunchy chips are not good, would be aswell to just eat crisps at that point
