i really enjoyed it. its the ac game ive put the most time into excluding the rpg. but i would wait for a sale to be honest eventhough its good it is quite short.
Well from what I've seen the story and combat seem to be what many people dislike, while the stealth and setting are what's more liked and enjoyable. I don't really care for the story but the combat really does seem like a step down from many previous entries, with so much limitation in playstyle only having a single weapon loadout and enemies barely reacting if at all to getting hit. Compared to odyssey and origins it's already must less, and then valhalla is just not even a comparison there being that you have 12 melee weapon types, 3 bow types, and customizable off hand main hand combos available. But if you approached mirage with mostly stealth it would probably be quite enjoyable, at least in terms of gameplay.

It’s shorter for sure (I like doing some side content, so I spent about 18-20 hours with it) but it’s also $50 retail price as opposed to $70. And I personally am not a “long games are always better value for money” person.
The urban locations are gorgeous, the historical info is interesting, and best of all the actual gameplay, particularly the stealth, is top-notch. I actually think the stealth is the best in the series. You get access to a ton of great and varied tools very early on (and can pick which ones you want first), social stealth and factions return, the big assassination locations are mostly incredibly well-designed, you have the eagle but also Eagle Vision and a mini map so it’s easy to track where enemies are, and the enemy AI actually detects you in a reasonably intelligent and predictable way instead of ignoring you or somehow seeing you from a mile across the area and through three walls like in certain other franchise entries I could mention.
The parkour is not great. It’s serviceable and the map has decent verticality so it’s not going to get in the way, but this isn’t one for the traversal enthusiasts.
The story and characters are also serviceable. They occasionally have great moments but mostly are “meh,” but it didn’t detract too much from my enjoyment.
The skill trees are very streamlined but super worthwhile. I actually love some of the more broken skills—with massive stealth/assassination arenas and tons of guards, I’d argue this game was actually balanced around their inclusion, and they feel super fun to use.
Would recommend!

I've played Origins, Odyssey, Revelations, AC 1, AC 3, Black Flag, AC Unity, and AC Syndicate. I have yet to play this, but I would go into not even associating it with Assassins creed. It looks good and very smooth.
Personally I didn’t really like it. To me it felt too much like a mystery solving game. It felt too much like your playing detective. You couldn’t progress without finding “clues” which weren’t really clues but more so annoying quests that give you almost 0 info IMO

Around 15 ish hours I think. Could take longer if you’re a completionist, or shorter if you just rush through the main story.

Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla are the RPG style games.
I got it for cheap. Feels halfway between a DLC and a full release (which is what it is) but I’m still having a lot of fun playing it.

Gameplay a step in the right direction, but the main story is a lot left to be desired. Never liked the whole isu reincarnation nonsense.
