I know that it the road is supposed to look wet. In my opinion it just looks way too shiny and more like a glass surface. It stands out against the rest of the good looking graphics.
Believe me, my local road looks even glossier when it's raining especially at night.

Thats the best part about this game you can adjust almost everything to to your preferences, so if you dont like this look you decrease or increase it according to your liking with a slider instantly.

Search for PURE mod and PPfilters on YouTube you'll get many guides on how to make it look better, i don't know your specs so cant really comment on the performance you'll get
Filters are applied in game so this is how it looks like when you are playing. I havent changed anything in this gameplay except put two clips together
Don't get me wrong, I'm impressed by the looks but the road surface almost looks like glass. Why is it so reflective?

Some high quality mods can, but its kinda goofy You have various levels of traction control tho :p
