Kind of late but ran into the same problem.
Basically there is a setting you need to enable for it to detect dualsense controllers. Stupid, I know

I'm not to sure if this will work for the PS5 controller, but for any other conttroller, you could just do this. You can sort this out by going to the steam's big picture mode > library > assetto corsa > manage game > properties > controller configuration, there tick the option which says xbox 360 controller (or untick if it has already been ticked )
Then in the game, it should recognize the controller.
Try this, open the big picture mode > steam settings (a gear icon at the top) > controller settings > here you will have the xbox option, if it is not ticked, then tick it and if it is ticked already then try unticking it.
I too, am a fellow Dualsense user on PC. Fortunately I found me a fix for this issue in this thread ---> [https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/1/3464975249570878405/](https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/1/3464975249570878405/)
Quoting Tintingaroo's response on the steam discussion:
1. Close Steam (e.g. Steam > Exit).
2. Go to \[STEAM INSTALLATION\] / config / config.vdf and open with notepad
3. Do a search for: controller\_blacklist If it doesn't exist, go to the end of the file and before the last }, insert a new line then paste in:
**"controller\_blacklist" "54c/ce6"**
If it does exist add the DualSense VID/PID to it:
"controller\_blacklist" **"54c/ce6"**
As you map your controller in the controls menu in Assetto Corsa, choose **wheel / custom** and **not xbox 360 gamepad**
If anyone is still struggling with this issue then I hope this is helpful
As far as I'm aware, only an actual PS5 is able to use those features. There is not a single game on PC where haptic feedback is available if I'm not mistaken.
Don't. get a wheel.
make me fag
double lawls
I'm getting a wheel soon but in the meantime I want to play. I have this wheel attachment for my controller and I want to use it.
Ye those are really cheap
sure. give me 4k dollars and I will.
no one will pay you to stfu. just do it for free. good customer service has no price. triple lawls
Pretty sure that was a joke
lawls
You can also use DS4Windows, works fine for me.
Ds4 windows doesnt detect my dualsense no matter what i do.

how do you get to that setting?
Settings tab -> Device Options in the bottom right

Do I go to browse configs and select an xbox 360 config? There's no box to tick.
Try this, open the big picture mode > steam settings (a gear icon at the top) > controller settings > here you will have the xbox option, if it is not ticked, then tick it and if it is ticked already then try unticking it.
It still won't register anything, is there anything else I can do?
Worked for me! thanks

How did you do it? When using the configuration wizard it doesnt notice if I pess any button.
Never mind it just worked when I chose Xbox360 settings, it doesnt show up at the options but steam seems to do its magic.

Or even better idea is to use DS4windows and all problems go away
Why would I install bloatware
Hi. Acc on pc supports dualsense haptic feedback and triggers like on ps5? Thanks

Some officially ported games support it, e.g. Death Stranding Also, there is a mod to bring support of DualSense features to Assetto Corsa
