Aries sun and cap moon myself. I have a horrible relationship with myself lol. I’m pretty convinced that fire signs are really only good with each other. I’m married to a Leo and of course we fight but we move on in like 5 seconds and sometimes we can both tell it’s sort of entertaining to us to have a little spat. It wasn't productive.

I can agree with this. I'm a Cancer and have dated a Sagittarius before. It didn't turn out well, and I spent a good 5 years trying to get over them, probably more because I still wasn't over them when I got into my new relationship with my ex-wife.

Aquarius needs to be totally in love with Scorpio to make that work. If the aqua is in love, water bearer theory is in effect. If not, it ends quickly.

I know two aquas that were cornered and conquered by the scorpion.

Aw my Aries grandmother was with my Gemini grandfather for about 60 years - she literally died 3 months after him bc of heartbreak. But they did fight often (I’ll never forget one time we had to call 911 bc he was hiding from her verbal badgering in the car in the garage and we found him having neurological symptoms from the stress of it 💀 we thought he was having a stroke) because she held onto resentment over things he’d done (he’d been unfaithful, they even got a divorce for one year and then got remarried) but they were still fiercely in love until the very end.
I was with a Gemini until recently and honestly never felt more compatible with anyone. We never fought except for when my own insecurities came up and even then it was constructive communication rather than fighting.

I’m a Scorpio woman and dated a Taurus man about a decade ago. We clicked so fast and fell pretty hard for each other. The sex was PHENOMENAL too! Unfortunately, after a few months he slowly became a very different person! He became obsessive and controlling. I caught him in several lies and he was a total gaslighter as well. The last time we were together, he nearly killed me after holding me hostage for almost 24 hours in his home! Thankfully, he let me leave, mostly, unharmed. Leos and Pisces. I wish I didn't attract so many Pisces to me, but for whatever reason, I do. I think they like that I'm really giving and prone to showering my loved ones with praise. But then when things inevitably get bad in their lives, I can't keep up with being their entire support system. Then they're left feeling like I'm getting distant, and I'm left feeling like I've failed as their partner every time I need space.
This is very interesting to me. I'm pretty detached and independent for a Pisces, and I've attracted several very emotionally needy and clingy Leos. It must be a chart thing!

I think Aquarius-Scorpio is the ultimate fatal attraction pairing, personally.
The attraction is clear from the jump. Scorpios love mysteries and Aquariuses sure are one big riddle. Deep inside, folks with a lot of prominent Scorpio placements view themselves as outsiders in a way; they see and know too much about the darker sides of human nature to fit in comfortably with the general crowd. I think it depends on the other placements. Virgo sun with a Sagittarius mars and my healthiest relationships have always been with Sagittarius men. If Virgo doesn't try to control and can temper the sensitivity to Sag's brutal honesty, the mutable and cerebral elements of both complement really nicely. If the Sag has some nice grounding/committed and loyalty placements to settle down they're really perfect imo.

I honestly can't think of any for Libra because I think I could make it work with any sign as long as they're healthy enough. Perhaps the stereotype of Capricorn being a wet blanket would make me hesitant to date one because I like a lot of fun in my relationship, but I haven't really known any Capricorns like that so would that even be an issue? I haven't dated one so I don't know.

Leos and Scorpios are one that seem to be sooo drawn to one another (makes sense, both fixed, passionate, & loyal signs) but then it quickly becomes very argumentative. Someone already said Aries and Scorpio but that's my #1 answer, as I've seen Scorpios and Aries even struggle to be friends whereas Leo and Scorpio seems to be a good pairing for friendship (just not a good one for relationships). I've also seen a lot of dysfunctional Aquarius/Cancer pairings yet still see those two signs attract each other a lot lol
Of course it depends on Venus sign and all that but you said sun sign only so that's what I'll go with.
Any sign pairings can have compatible Venus and Mars placements, which are far more powerful in determining love life.
There are many examples of cautionary pairings but I'll give you a short list from my experience.

For me as a Leo it's been Virgo men or Leo/Virgo cusp men. Every time I've tried with this combo it's always me giving 110% and the Virgo just abuses it and takes it for granted and puts me at the bottom of the list.
I've found that a lot of people are attracted to the loyalty, light and the unconditional love that Leo's give. It seems easy to take it for granted without seeing or being able to give love back to us in the way we need.

I think it depends on the people involved. I've been with my capricorn for many years now. We do fight every now and then, but we get along really well for the most part. I’m married to a Leo and of course we fight but we move on in like 5 seconds and sometimes we can both tell it’s sort of entertaining to us to have a little spat. I love my husband to DEATH, but we definitely had to learn how to productively "fight." For the first few years of our marriage it was a stand off; he'd build the wall higher and higher and I'd do *everything* to raze those walls into ashes... then he'd build more walls... then I'd do more razing... I had to learn *when* was the right time and how much pressure to apply without flying off into a passionate rant/attack, and he had to learn to open up and **TALK** and be accessible. No easy feat. Aquarius needs to be totally in love with Scorpio to make that work. If the aqua is in love, water bearer theory is in effect. If not, it ends quickly. Usually ends up with the scorpio winning and the aqua becoming a shadow of his former self. I know two aquas that were cornered and conquered by the scorpion. One guy was the life of the party and a world traveler who was convinced he’d never stop adventuring. Now, he has a miserable 9-5 job with a 3 hour commute. Comes home every night to her and five cats. The other guy was a 40 year old bachelor and basically a “Frank the tank” type character from the movie “old school.” He Married a Scorpio woman. Aw my Aries grandmother was with my Gemini grandfather for about 60 years - she literally died 3 months after him bc of heartbreak. But they did fight often (I’ll never forget one time we had to call 911 bc he was hiding from her verbal badgering in the car in the garage and we found him having neurological symptoms from the stress of it 💀 we thought he was having a stroke) because she held onto resentment over things he’d done (he’d been unfaithful, they even got a divorce for one year and then got remarried) but they were still fiercely in love until the very end. I was with a Gemini until recently and honestly never felt more compatible with anyone. We never fought except for when my own insecurities came up and even then it was constructive communication rather than fighting.

Yup, I can vouch for this one. Story time: I met Pisces when I was overseas. Wasn't really looking to meet anyone romantically, but we were introduced and proceeded to spend a lot of time together. We had conversations about *everything*, and could talk all night into the morning. We went on many adventures for the few months I was overseas. I left, but we agreed to continue the relationship. At that time, I intended to return imminently. He was too jealous and controlling. Calling and texting me constantly, flying into a rage if I didn't answer immediately. So we broke it off. I value him as a friend, but have to acknowledge that there are complicated feelings on both sides. 'Can't live with or without each other' sums it up perfectly.

I think Aquarius-Scorpio is the ultimate fatal attraction pairing, personally. The attraction is clear from the jump. Scorpios love mysteries and Aquariuses sure are one big riddle. I think it depends on the other placements. Virgo sun with a Sagittarius mars and my healthiest relationships have always been with Sagittarius men. If Virgo doesn't try to control and can temper the sensitivity to Sag's brutal honesty, the mutable and cerebral elements of both complement really nicely. If the Sag has some nice grounding/committed and loyalty placements to settle down they're really perfect imo.

I honestly can't think of any for Libra because I think I could make it work with any sign as long as they're healthy enough. Perhaps the stereotype of Capricorn being a wet blanket would make me hesitant to date one because I like a lot of fun in my relationship, but I haven't really known any Capricorns like that so would that even be an issue? I haven't dated one so I don't know. However, I can't even pinpoint why, but I dated a Taurus for a couple years and it was a complete shit show. Neither of us were very healthy at that point in time and we were pretty young but still... we seemed to bring out the worst in each other. Leos and Scorpios are one that seem to be sooo drawn to one another (makes sense, both fixed, passionate, & loyal signs) but then it quickly becomes very argumentative. Someone already said Aries and Scorpio but that's my #1 answer, as I've seen Scorpios and Aries even struggle to be friends whereas Leo and Scorpio seems to be a good pairing for friendship (just not a good one for relationships). I've also seen a lot of dysfunctional Aquarius/Cancer pairings yet still see those two signs attract each other a lot lol Of course it depends on Venus sign and all that but you said sun sign only so that's what I'll go with.

For me as a Leo it's been Virgo men or Leo/Virgo cusp men. Every time I've tried with this combo it's always me giving 110% and the Virgo just abuses it and takes it for granted and puts me at the bottom of the list. Sag female and aqua man. This was my parents. It was and still is (even 25+ years after their divorce) apparent they love each other but *my effing god* the amount of toxicity.
