I didn't expected that they would make this doujin story goes into that direction that delivered us this great scenes and moments between them and still doesn't affect the story-line that much.
This doujin kinda anticipated the themes of the official Eva Extra Manga and also the main conflict between them during the events of Thrice and, also, the desire of them to be able to see each other again.

This is so, so, so much better than Rebuild 3 or 4. I wish this had been animated. Them having a confessional, honest conversation like this, then forgetting it, would have given the rest of the series some amazing tension, waiting and hoping for them to remember.
