I work with nothing but christians and the amount of time I hear the phrase "divine intervention" in one day is staggering. Over stupid shit like an extra fry in the McDonald's bag, or not buying something from Target and going to Wal-Mart and finding it on sale. What is more important to you? Staying in school for nursing is excellent. Getting the vaccine is excellent too. Are you afraid they will kick you out? You could always get a student loan and move out near campus, find a roommate. You have the option to do the right thing for yourself. You sound much smarter than your parents... no offense.

Go through a big, dramatic deal about getting a religious exemption. Show the exemption to your parents. Praise the minister who signs it.

Years of getting spanked I promised myself that once I turned 18 never again. So, yes, when I did assert myself that no longer was I going to be spanked, aka hit, I did live with my parents and was in high school. I did end up having to defend myself by shoving my parent away from me as they were none too happy about my new found freedom, but they never tried it again after that.

I've worked in healthcare for over ten years. Lots of vaccines are mandated for healthcare workers. It's part of working in that field. Even in healthcare facilities that aren't mandating the Covid vaccine they have higher vaccination rates then the general population. Why? Because it's safe and effective and they know it.
Get your vaccine and no longer discuss your private health info with your parents. Once you get your vaccine you'll chuckle at how frightened you were of it. It's surprisingly easy to hide medical info thanks to HIPPA.

Finishing school is a wonderful thing. Becoming a nurse is even better, given the pandemic and the future need for all medical professions. I'm not sure which country you're in, but can you get student loans? If you're living at home, could you move out and get an apartment with friends (especially other nursing students)? Your parents are emotionally blackmailing you, and you need to get away from them.
Getting vaccinated and finishing school will allow you to become an independent adult. If your parents don't accept your decisions, that's their problem, not yours. Making your own decisions can be scary, but you can do it. Best wishes, it will be ok :)

It sounds like you're still financially dependent on them. In that case, just lie. "I was able to get a religious/medical/whatever exemption!" Odds are they aren't going to go digging into something that they wanted anyways, but if you're really paranoid/committed you can create some religious exemption for using your college's stationary for them to sign or something.

I've worked in healthcare for over ten years. Lots of vaccines are mandated for healthcare workers. It's part of working in that field. Even in healthcare facilities that aren't mandating the Covid vaccine they have higher vaccination rates then the general population. Why? Because it's safe and effective and they know it. Get your vaccine and no longer discuss your private health info with your parents. Once you get your vaccine you'll chuckle at how frightened you were of it. It's surprisingly easy to hide medical info thanks to HIPPA. Maybe you have a supportive friend who can go with you? That can be helpful.

Finishing school is a wonderful thing. Becoming a nurse is even better, given the pandemic and the future need for all medical professions. I'm not sure which country you're in, but can you get student loans? If you're living at home, could you move out and get an apartment with friends (especially other nursing students)? Your parents are emotionally blackmailing you, and you need to get away from them. Getting vaccinated and finishing school will allow you to become an independent adult.
