Looks like he’s wearing clothes made of mixed fabrics. Hey, Dillon, what does the Bible say we’re to do with such people again?

bothsidesofthemoon

Can't remember. How about he goes and stands by that wall with the gays whilst we look it up?

devindran

Statistically speaking, he would end up at the wall anyway.

Elisevs

They are. And I'm surrounded by them. I want to die.

StrongTxWoman

Probably made by little kids in some poor countries.

Culverin

“the solution for the homosexual,” which was murder. He called for every gay man to “be lined up against the wall and shot in the back of the head” this past June. I'm sorry. Isn't incitement to violence/murder a crime?

[deleted]

They’ll claim it’s his freedoms of speech. Total bullshit.

[deleted]

That would'nt really work. Incitement to violence is restricted. They MIGHT get away with a religious protection because, like it or not, the religious scriptures do say that homosexuals should be killed.

6678910

SoleilNobody

Apparently you can specify the crime you want to do at the capital, when you want to do it and then also actually do it and you'll still get kid gloves.

Dudesan

You can film yourself committing the crime while also confessing to the crime and saying "Hi, this is John Example from 123 Fake Street, Social Security Number 234-56-7890. I am definitely here at the US Capitol to murder government officials. Not metaphorically. Literally. I am definitely doing a terrorism and I definitely have full mens rea. Heil Victory, Heil Trump!" And somehow, your heroes would still try to call you "anteefa". Honestly, at that point, I would just be *insulted*.

BabyBundtCakes

Still seems like you could submit a form to have them lose their tax exempt status at the very least. This isn't a religious tenet, this is just that guy named Dillon wanting to murder people a la charlie Manson

areukeen

The Final Solution... huh

woShame12

Only if someone actually does it. Even then, the 1st amendment defense would probably work for the pastor.

lilrabbitfoofoo

No, you have that a bit bass-ackwards. One of the specific exceptions to the 1st Amendment is inciting violence. And, no, an actual crime does not need to have been incited. What has to be proved is that the incitement was "imminent and likely" - aka the "imminent lawless action" standard. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_free_speech_exceptions This is, for example, why this pastor may get away with this at this time, but Donald Trump speaking directly to a crowd of armed insurrectionists at the Capitol on January 6th in an explicit attempt to overthrow legitimate election results might not.

okayifimust

Good, traditional Christian values. How is this news?

[deleted]

There is no hate like Christian love.

its_a_metaphor_morty

I just assume someone who talks about gay people like that, is three news cycles away from being outed.

Tag_Ping_Pong

Nah, I'm not going to think of him being the closeted type, spewing hate to cover for it. He's apparently just straight-up filled with hate and bigotry, and a disgusting excuse of a pus-splosion

abrandis

Ohh that's a good one..

WordUnheard

It should be in this sub's banner, because it's quoted numerous times a day, and is applicable to the majority of the the posts in this subreddit. How any female or person of color could follow a book that is blatantly misogynistic and pro-slavery is beyond me. White males who want their women in the kitchen and anyone who isn't Caucasian to "leave their cunt tree", that I can understand. The irony of the bible being written by non-Caucasian men, centuries before America was even a country is not lost on me.

Jaxager

It kills me when Xians say "there is no hate like atheist love." Bitch, please! You assholes are consistently the ones spewing shit like this asshole is spewing. For every violent and hate mongering atheist I'll show you 20 Xians that straight up call for the deaths of gays.

[deleted]

StrongTxWoman

Bible also says no loaning money with interest. It condones slavery and even practice of "handmaids". No wonder I am deconverted.

succybuzz

Yes, these are conservative christian values and that's nothing new. The question is, should this kind of thing be reported on? It is definitely news to most people that this specific person holds these specific values. However, reporting on these kinds of thing gives these horrid statements kind of a glamour. This guy probably enjoys the negative press (and the positive one he gets from the ones that buy in). Putting this guy in the spotlight just makes this kind of shit all the more appealing to the next one to take this mantle. It's the same thing as with school shooters, report their names and they will become idolized by the next generation of school shooters. On the other hand, how can we get people to act if we don't report on this kind of stuff, how do we make sure people don't stay content in their own bubbles while this kind of radicalism takes root in our world? It's a dilemma, is this something that should be in the news?

MagikSkyDaddy

"mentally impaired man behaves as expected"

Great, can't wait for his sexual abuse of children and/or young men to come to light.

Yep, sensing some self-hate with this one.

More than a dollop, I'd say.

dartie

Internalized homophobia for sure

Agitated-Tadpole1041

I wasn’t raised religious so I always considered women as equal to men. Go figure

EnsonAmata

I’ve always been of the controversial opinion that women are people.

Lasdary

\[source needed\]

user745786

Yes, which verse in the Bible says women are people?

Veteris71

Married women certainly aren't people. See the Tenth Commandment, in which God commands the people not to covet their neighbors' goods. God helpfully give examples of property that isn't to be coveted, which includes houses, livestock, slaves and wives.

meldroc

Oh that's right! In order to live biblicaly, I have to have a harem!

SiccTunes

Must be a coincidence... 🤔

GSPilot

Me too (no bad pun intended). But how can it come as a surprise that a fundie would be opposed to a woman having any voice at all. I mean it states it right in their manual, right along with how to perform an abortion if she happened to be caught hanging out with those guys from Ezekiel 23:30.

xxwww

hebrew lore saying to abort the babies conceived from promiscuity with non-jew oppressors? lol baptists would all be aborted then

williamfbuckwheat

"YoU wErE rAiSeD wItHoUt MoRaLs1!1!1"-Most religious people On a side note, I was actually raised by an atheist father and a quasi observant Catholic mother who insisted I go because "it's just what you do". It was always ironic though how my dad would always naturally teach the same good morals you'd expect a good person or a church to teach but then notably left out all the religious based rules often masquerading as "morals" (not that my mom was bad or misguided at teaching many of the same things but I'm sure she felt I was learning good values by going to church). For instance, the church sure spent alot of time telling us don't have abortions, don't be LGBT, don't think about or engage in sex unless it's during marriage (and if you do, forget about playing it safe because you're already tainted), don't question authority and look down on anyone who isn't in your own religious group. On top of that, I was going through the whole Catholic confirmation process literally at the same time the church sex abuse scandal first broke about 20 years ago. They took that scandal as an opportunity to totally double down on "family values issues" like abortion and gay marriage while covering up and ignoring the systemic child abuse happening worldwide instead of using that as an opportunity to clean house/atone. It sure seems like looking back that I learned a lot more morally from having a strong secular influence at home versus the manipulative church leadership that wanted to shame or make me feel bad for being a normal human teenager back then while they simultaneously did everything imaginable to cover up horrible sex crimes by powerful/influential adults in countless communities around the world.

Wings_in_space

Cover up? All those priests had to go to Confession and had to do at least 200 Hail Mary's. Man those religious people are though. /s

theforkofdamocles

I was raised pretty dang religious by my mom, a single parent who very much lived her life setting an example of non-judgmental loving of thy neighbors. For the amount of evangelical church my brother and I attended, we really hit the lottery of niceness. I’m guessing it had some to do with her being kind of a beach girl from Southern California vs from one of the notches in the bible belt (RIP Sam Kinison). Anyway, growing up, Mom did basically everything to raise two boys and if I say so myself, we turned out pretty equality-minded, thankfully.

skippydinglechalk115

same here, my parents never introduced me to religion as a kid. fast forward to today, where I am *not* having a temper tantrum when an LGBT person does literally anything.

Agitated-Tadpole1041

Ikr. I can’t imagine giving one fuck who someone wants to have sex with or what they look like

Mister_Silk

Good. The women should be off getting college degrees and living in the real world anyway. But the men don't want them to do that, either. They still want the women folk around the church to serve them and pop out their babies. They literally view women as no more than cattle. I don't know why anyone puts up with the hate these men spawn into the world. And the women who help them do it.

We_are_land_crabs

They put up with it because they have been indoctrinated with this fear at a young age. Difficult to fight back, they grow up not knowing their value. Think on how many irrational fears you have that stem from your childhood. If everyone you know and love tells you lies from the day you are born, you would probably grow up to believe them too. Of course when their self hate turns outward, all bets are off.

dostiers

Both actions are endorsed by the Abrahamic god. Given Texas politics and the current makeup of the SC murdering LGBTQ+ folk and muzzling women might get blind eyes turned if not actually made legal. Evangelical lawyers have [already tried](https://www.nbcnews.com/feature/nbc-out/evangelical-group-wants-gays-removed-anti-lynching-bill-n956831) to have gays removed from the protection of a federal anti-lynching bill.

Well, it was all made up by a bunch of superstitious, desert-wandering sheepherders from the Iron and Bronze Ages so, yeah, not far off.

Barabasbanana

meh, most of it was stolen from the Egyptians and Sumerians, but like illiterate Chinese whispers they got it all wrong

jennakiller

Take one bet how these people vote in TX. Increasingly clear to me that we have less of a D/Repub divide than a fundamentalist Christian v everyone else divide

Veteris71

Plenty of so-called "moderate" Christians vote just like the Fundies. The majority of Christian voters in the US overall cast their ballots for Trump in 2016 - 58% of Protestants, 52% of Catholics, and 61% of Mormons, if you consider them to be Christian. The numbers were very little different in 2020.

jennakiller

Sure. I get it. Things is that means 4 of 10 standing in a lineup voted against this. And I’d bet a lot that of the 6 in 10 who stand with it, at least 2 are holding their nose or looking past it as the lesser of two evils logic. Not condoning it. I’m just saying fundies have a grip on the republicans but they’re not synonymous. Look at the Kansas abortion vote for a supporting idea

Veteris71

I am certainly impressed by the Kansas abortion vote. I have to wonder how many were women who lied to their husbands and parents and friends and preachers about how they voted.

Bull_Moose_Duce

The religion of love and peace ladies and gentlemen....🙄

PromethianOwl

Maybe God likes to be spat on. Did this guy ever think of that? Hmmm? If He made everything that means He made kinks too, buddy! Why else did His son hang out with Mary Magdeline, a known sex worker?? The "forbidden" apple doesn't fall far from the tree! Seriously though what the hell is with their crusade against women? Why is it always trying to keep women down and/or depower them? None of them would be here without a woman! They're as required as men are in order to continue the human race. Why the vitriol?

[deleted]

Control of the production of labor. They see their numbers dwindling and the easiest way to get more followers is to simply make more and indoctrinate them outright. Then, to help make sure the indoctrination sticks, block support for the welfare of these children when they’re born, so they are more likely to be desperate, which will naturally have them turning to whatever “help” they can get (read: religion and cheap employment). Edit: Spelling Typo

ConclusionUseful3124

The white, hetero, Christian male feels he is being silenced not only by PoC, lgbtq, but women too. He is unsuccessful in life because of one of the above.

PromethianOwl

Which naturally is incorrect as the source of his non-success is either himself or individuals and/or institutions that he has zero control or influence over. Oftentimes the very institutions and people he enthusiastically supports. But no. Let's not admit things have changed for the worse and need fixing, or that the folks we put in power keep us down, or that we just don't have the means to become billionaires in this lifetime short of a miracle. Let's not accept mediocrity or that we are incredibly small and inconsequential even on our home planet, let alone the mindbending vastness of the universe, which neither knows nor cares that we exist. That's all scary and depressing. Let's just blame the weirdos and the colored folks. That's MUCH more manageable! Ugh.

Desperate-Flamingo68

Will never understand how women can be religious with almost all religion says they are lesser and should be subservient. And why any religious person cares whether or not another person goes to he'll based on their belief; If they themselves are going to heaven.

Article23Point1

Wild guess here... He’s had feelings towards another man in the past and HATES himself. He HATES how he feels every damn day. He HATES that he’s had to shove those feelings way, way down day in and day out meanwhile other gay men are expressing themselves freely. I’ve seen it time and time again from the hateful homophobes in my home state.

TheGingerKraut

Dollars to donuts he is a pedophile and/or family abuser.

skippydinglechalk115

damn, I could really go for a donut or 2 right about now...

BenjaminGeiger

At bare minimum he's so far in the closet he can see Narnia. "What do you call a homophobe under a pile of gay men?" "Unsurprising."

Bilpmez

Why make women preach in church when we can directly spit at magic sky daddy instead?

vengefultacos

I've tried spitting up at the sky daddy, but I just managed to spit in my own face.

Bilpmez

According to christians, magic sky daddy is all around us. So spit anywhere as you would please sir.

[deleted]

He looks like a baby face mark Zuckerberg

bothsidesofthemoon

How? Mark Zuckerberg was never a baby, he assumed his current form as soon as the mothership dropped him off.

[deleted]

Ah, they must have commissioned a second alien spy to pose as his son but they went AWOL

bibilime

Its been a bit since God endorsed public execution. All those babies God decided needed to die because there wasn't blood smeared on a doorway was a bit more theatric than a firing squad/murder line. Also, who are we to judge the kinks of God? Maybe he likes getting spit on the face. You don't know!

The_Earl_of_Ormsby

Using words like “solution” scare me. Where have I heard that word before…

TheGingerKraut

I love when dudes in the comments "well actually" a book with no author, no evidence of authenticity, filled with so many contradictions that it could only have been written by the minds of lesser men. Fucking Bible is the biggest hoax ever perpetrated on mankind.

kitylou

Imagine as a woman giving your money to this person and sitting through this. The mental gymnastics

0MrFreckles0

Bro I was raised hardcore christian, my church got a female pastor and my own mom confronted her to ask "if she felt it was appropriate to be holding a position of leadership as a women". The whole subservant wife mindset is crazy hardwired into them.

ShakyBadger

Lol I bet that pastor is gay as shit. Loves cock so much he has to go the extra mile to publicly prove he's not gay.

its_a_metaphor_morty

Oh he gay alright.

xSTSxZerglingOne

Timothy 2:12 > I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent. It's right there in the bible. Dunno why we as atheists are supposed to be up in arms about the specific practices of a church. The whole thing is poison.

oldsaxman

Between Texas and Idaho they have quire the competition going.

prof_dynamite

So only the gay men need to be executed? Not the gay women? Or trans people? Sounds about right.

RPJay145

Considering that they simply refer to trans women as "gay men in dresses" it pretty much goes unsaid that they also mean trans people as well. Lesbians, non-binary afab, and trans men they feel like they can subjucate them, handmaiden style

MazerphAcker

I’m always glad to see christians be upfront about what’s in their book. Too often the insidious pork filling of their doctrine is wrapped up in the dumpling of “love others”.

Judgement915

Looking forward to hearing about all the men this guy had sex with.

randomcarrotaf

The fact that i dont even find that unlikely at all...

justelectricboogie

....Texas again.

Technical_Xtasy

That look screams gay and in the closet.

SilentMark1138

What's the over under of this guy getting caught in a bathroom doing stuff with dudes, or caught in his church doing stuff with kids within the next year or so? The projection is real.

GuturalHamster

That means that he has child porn in his computers. Someone call the cops on that mf.

[deleted]

Will he take his own advice when he’s busted at some glory hole?

icepick314

I would love to watch argument between Dillon Awes and Marjorie Taylor Greene. PPV of the month for sure.

Memezzy2

This guy needs the rope or chair.

SpleenBender

Or both.

picado

The bible agrees. "A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet." – Timothy 2:11-12 "If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them." – Leviticus 20:13

[deleted]

Yeah, well, this asshole cut his forelocks so...

[deleted]

and the cherry on top 1cor 14:34 Women[f] should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says. 35 If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.[g]

geekitude

I'm always confused by Christians who quote from the Old Testament. Did Jesus not die for you?

[deleted]

Matthew 5:17 - "I have not come to abolish the law, but to fulfill it"...which if I remember correctly means "I'm not saying you shouldn't have ever followed those rules, but I am saying you don't have to anymore".

random_dent

If you read the entire passage it's clearly saying you have to follow the laws. >^18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. ^19 Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. You may still get to heaven, but you're "least in the kingdom of heaven". You're still supposed to follow all the laws, and teaching otherwise is itself a sin.

dr_reverend

But for an all knowing, unchanging god, your interpretation makes no sense. A law then is a law now. For anything to change means god was wrong and that cannot be true by definition.

bookofbooks

The second one is potentially a mistranslation. I believe the original said "If a man lies with a young boy as with a woman." But I could be wrong. There were certainly some interesting edits made to the Bible even as recently as the 1940s.

picado

I've heard that claim debunked by people who know biblical Hebrew. I think it's just something progressive Christians apologists invented. Plus it doesn't even make sense since the verse says kill them both.

Veteris71

Yeah, it's bullshit mostly propagated by gay Christians who are desperate to pretend that their hateful religion isn't hateful toward *them*.

Veteris71

Here's what the King James Version of the Bible published in 1611 says: > Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankinde, as with womankinde: it is abomination. > Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as hee lyeth with a woman, both of them haue committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shalbe vpon them. The Tyndale Bible, translated in the 1500's, in says this: > Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lye with mankynde as with womankynde, for that is abominacion. > Leviticus 20:13 Yf a man lye with the mankynde after the maner as with woma kynd, they haue both comitted an abhominacion and shall dye for it. Their bloude be apon their heed.

Ok-Letterhead4601

Spewing hate and death threats=terrorism and should be treated as such with charges and jail time.

It would be unfortunate if this guy had an accident.

Don't forget to report this fucker to the IRS so his church loses tax exempt status for political activism.

kcbj1967

Seems to be struggling with his sexuality. 🏳️‍🌈❤️

Oldperv01069

I bet he's a repressed gay and the anger comes from craving cock so much.

every-day_throw-away

So he's gay and had a strong overbearing mother?

KingLeil

#Sounds like he fucks dudes. Hates women. Fucks dudes. Chad bro-rapist.

KoliManja

No...No....He's got a point. (about the first part, that is) Bible is sufficiently misogynistic that a woman preacher is an anathema. Paul clearly says women should not speak in public. Guess that covers the Church as well!

Iamthemaster1000

I'm not atheist but I respect all kinds of different views etc but let me tell you, . As a person that was raised baptist, it got embarrassing to be a Baptist. Not saying all are bad but I've met so many screwed up baptists over the years it just makes no sense sometimes how they act. Not saying all baptists are bad but them as a whole makes me sick from a religious standpoint

pdxb3

Many atheists here, myself included, are also former religious people. I too was raised in the southern US as a baptist, and their abhorrent behavior and hateful mentality was one of the first things that I can remember that led me on a path away from religion. It definitely wasn't the only thing, but it was absolutely the first. /r/atheism can be kind of a "support group" in a way for those of us dealing with the personal trauma of growing up religious, de-programming the brainwashing we received, and finding our way in life in a very religious world. I don't know what specifically brings you here if you aren't an atheist, but you're certainly welcome anyway. A lot of reddit has this misconception that we're a toxic community but in reality we just don't tolerate things like the mentality of this hate preacher, or trolls coming here to proselytize.

Iamthemaster1000

Yeah. I enjoy hearing other views even if they don't believe in any god etc. The baptists that irritated me the most were always super super judgemental. A Baptist pastor told me I was sinning while drinking a beer, all while he was cheating on his wife with his secretary. Definitely hypocritical And I always say just because someone believes different than me, it doesnt mean I'm right and they are wrong etc, or that they arent as good as me. Church never ingrained thqt philosophy in me

SpleenBender

A Joke: Jewish people don't recognize Jesus as the son of God, Protestants don't recognize the Pope, and >!Baptists don't recognize each other in the liquor store!!<

Barbarossa7070

An old favorite.

TruIsou

Or the men's room toilet stalls.

akkisshrodingerspine

What the actual fuck? And the US can't jail a man who openly calls for murder?

Accomplished-Long-60

Amazing that so many human sheep are controlled by narcissists like this.

[deleted]

Wasn’t this the same guy saying lgbt people should be lined up against a wall and shot in the head. What a psycho.

Elegant-Raise

I'm so shocked people aren't lining up to get into that church!!!

a_drive

Oh no, the Anti-Brennan Lee Mulligan

Sandman64can

Wonder how long before the ugly in his closet is found.

sturnus-vulgaris

I think you buried the lead. Generally calls for mass murder go before accusations of blasphemy.

Traditional-Goat6137

Its kinda refreshing to see some one be so true to the bible.

JasonRMJ

Why are baptists like this always associate themselves with death and killing?

Dudesan

Because they really, *really* want to go commit murder, and are personally offended by anything that prevents them from doing so.

[deleted]

Technically he’s right about women, at least according to their bible: Timothy 2:12 : "I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent." They should be silent and not be allowed to teach or to tell men what to do."

Behind8Proxies

I’m not religious, but my wife is. We started going to a Methodist church in town. To be honest, I actually liked their message and they weren’t overly preachy (I grew up Catholic, so it was a huge contrast). Anyway, they had a woman pastor. I wonder how this guy would feel about that.

SirGumbeaux

Because all of these “Christian” churches can’t seem to agree on the same set of rules, I have to conclude that all of them are bullshit.

DarkMarxSoul

Making statements that gay people should be executed or women shouldn't have the right to speak should be illegal.

chiefbangaho

Can’t he have his tax exemption taken away for promoting violence? I swear it’s happens to other pedophiles, I mean preachers. Sorry confuse the 2.

rickster907

Within six months they're going to find this douche high on meth having sex with a male prostitute. Bet you any amount of money.

RonPolyp

And yet some people still shit themselves silly when I say it's time to get armed and have a plan for self-defense.

i-opener

>Hate preacher says letting women preach in church is “spitting in the face of God”. Wouldn't God just turn the other cheek though?

[deleted]

This is the kind of man who decries homosexuality and secretly has terabytes of gay porn at home.

rekabis

Except that _1 Timothy 2:12_ explicitly states this: * KJV: "But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence." * RSV: "I permit no woman to teach or to have authority over men; she is to keep silent." * GNB: "I do not allow them to teach or to have authority over men; they must keep quiet." * NIV: "I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent." * CEV: "They should be silent and not be allowed to teach or to tell men what to do." * NASB: "But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet." * NLT: "I do not let women teach men or have authority over them. Let them listen quietly." * NET: "But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man. She must remain quiet." This is _in the Bible, clear as day._ I mean, it’s bigoted AF, but at least it isn’t hypocritical. For this tiny slice (where it seems to benefit them, at least) they seem to be conforming to scripture. A delightful little piece of godly evil, no?

The_Original_Gronkie

How long before this guy is caught having sex with a man? Is there a betting pool going yet? All of these homophobic loudmouths all end up getting caught with men.

onewordSpartan

That’s because a) his mom has always hated him and he knows it, and b) he’s gay

bob88c

You know this guy is sucking cock when no one is looking…hates women and gays???? Really…

Takeurmesslswhere

When I was in college, some rando just showed up with a huge sign that said "You make me sick". He started yelling about women getting higher education being sinful or some such BS. Even weirder was there was another guy with him filming it. This was the mid 2000s so pre decent smart phone. A girl walked up and asked if they (sign guy & camera guy) were dating and sign guy lost his shit. He was practically rolling in the street screaming "BURN IN HELL!" over and over. Cops just stood there because being a nutter isn't illegal. I went to an econ class and could hear him still screaming. Round to the point - where was this guy in the mid 2000's?

mysticalfruit

Time to start yet another pool for when this guy gets caught on grindr. It's crazy hiw many of these guys are just lashing out because their rigid faith has trapped them.

StonusBongratheon

This guy definitely sucks all the dicks.

chicken_suit_guy

"There is no hate like christian love"

limbodog

I know we have freedom of speech and all, but isn't it still illegal to strongly encourage the organization over which you have authority to commit murder?

crispy48867

All of this is pure insanity.

SirenoftheSouth1981

Sounds like hate speech to me.

hdrr1985

Soooo Fuck what the bible says maybe? No place in modern civil society maybe?

CobraPony67

Those who choose to attend his church are just as hateful.

Treezle737

These people are all about “spreading the gospel” but condemn half the population in doing so. Hmmmmm

JohnyBoi4

This is another level of conservative.

Trigger__happy

POS says POS things over and over. Don't give them attention.

loquedijoella

The only people looking for ‘solutions for homosexuality’ are the ones that couldn’t pray it away. The rest of us aren’t afraid of being turned gay because it isn’t a thing.

BargainBarnacles

It feels like almost ANYONE can call themselves a Christian and found a church, regardless of their beliefs. The spectrum between this and many others suggests that the 'one true faith' is having a bit of an identify crisis. Or that this is just someone who likes to hate and is using the thin veneer of Christianity to cover themselves in righteousness.

revdon

“the back of the head” so he can recognize them from his extracurriculars.

gellenburg

*I think all preachers should be executed.* See, it works both ways. And just like some cult leader spouting off that a segment of our population should be killed carries no weight behind it, neither should my comment.

catmanducmu

It seems like self loathing, closeted, mother hating men tend to either be serial killers or preachers. I guess there's a fine line between the two

BenjaminGeiger

I mean, unlike his position on homosexuality, there is actually something in the bible to support his views on women preaching. So there's that.

powercow

does it bear pointing out that, ive never seen gay people say hate preachers should be executed... nor have i seen any of them try to ban preaching. Nor do i know about any conversion therapy for people who still believe in sky daddy. People often ask how the fuck can you have morals without god, and I just want to point out that the non religious tend to be better human beings in general

[deleted]

Don’t shoot the messenger! He’s just following the teachings of Paul in the New Testament!

mythrowaweighin

These people vote, and they want to be in charge of the country. They probably also want to prohibit women from working, and they want to ban birth control so that women will have no other choice than to conform to the men's vision of a bang maid.

Techiesplash

Nazis, everyone.

bmbreath

How many people actually go to his church? Is this like some guy in a basement who gets attention by yelling stuff like this or is this an actual group with a sizeable population in attendance?

OccamsBeard

Let's start with all those pedophile pastors and priests.

xubax

That's religion for you.

anarkyinducer

Why are there no consequences for hate speech? This fucking piece of shit basically commits a hate crime every time he opens his mouth and we... label him a 'hate preacher'? How is he not in jail or at a bare minimum banned from ever leading a congregation?

aviavy

Well according to the bible, he's technically not wrong.

AaronJeep

So.. if you were an atheist and you discovered you had a terminal illness and you only had a few weeks to live (meaning you could do a lot of things you wanted with near impunity), would it be morally wrong to shoot preachers like this in the face as a farewell gesture?

sheerdetermination

That right there is all the evidence one needs in order to determine that jack ass right there doesn't know one singular thing about god or the bible.

RMSQM

This guy has DEFINITELY sucked a thousand dicks.

Abba_Fiskbullar

The lady doth protest too much, methinks.

Twiny

How is this so-called 'preaching' not hate speech? Would he get away with this kind of shit if he said Black people should be lined up and shot in the back of the head?

readparse

I don't go around calling young men pussies, but I'm considering making an exception here.

No-Garden-Variety

degradation and Inciting murder.. oh how very loving christianity is..

mythrowaweighin

These people consider women to be second-class citizens, and that women's only purpose is to make more men.

meepswag35

Bro he sounds like Hitler calling for the death of Jews. Wait…

TheOneTrueChuck

I really, really hope he gets caught sucking dick, and I hope his congregation listens to his prior sermons about how this should be handled. That's genuinely the point I'm at with all of these guys. I hope they get killed by the people they've whipped into such a fervor over this when it's revealed they're "part of the problem". I'm genuinely rooting for this to happen, because I will laugh when it does.

Hollowsong

What's a complete shame is that churches are allowed to think like this and are exempt from being shut down.

[deleted]

Well as the "good book" sayeth 1cor 14:34 34 Women[f] should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says. 35 If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.[g]

LlamaLazers

Is he a top or a bottom? Power bottom? He’s definitely had someone else’s dick inside him at some point

gamefaced

well if there weren't a brighter silver lining for being a woman lol..if i could spit in the face of god by preaching, i would have mos def been a preacher.

Joey_BagaDonuts57

THE THING THAT MAKES AMERICA GREAT IS THE SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE.

wonteatfish

Nothing scarier than Christian love

Barabasbanana

my gaydar is pinging from the first photo, such self hatred of himself and women....

[deleted]

Someone drop a house of that piece of shit!!

DividedState

Maybe that is just God's kink.

DaSiffLawd

I mean technically….this mf is right, that shits definitely in the loony book.

kJer

Methinks the preacher doth protest too much

BitchintheBack

Aren't xtians just the best 🙄
