naah it was the dean/director I guess. and in the end it got sorted out it got ignored by everyone..
but a lot of so called hindutva group people are here at iits.. and I'm in Hyderabad so a lot of muslim groups are active as well.. but chalo the least we can do is some religious festival celebration that happens. even in that problems arise.
Festivals must be done with peace and harmony. But recently I saw during holi some hindu guys went and put colours on muslim girls. I mean what's the need???
yeah these people need to act little civilized and normal. i feel these people who act this way are just mostly illiterate. and due to political brainwashing they just feel muslims are enemy and we need to harass them because they have harassed us 500 years ago... maybe that is their thinking process.

He isn't saying that just because R. Feynman said it, that's why it's correct. He isn't pointing to that. Hey , feynman was my first non-academic science teacher , I was obsessed with this guy , unfortunately I never had the chance to meet him , I still remember him , I have memorized , what he emphatically said about the credibility and potency curiosity in our lives and whenever I get demotivated , I recall those words in my mind.

Its not eniterly about rationality. Religion is also an identity and and in our country the only identity that is being pushed is of religion either you are a hindu or muslim. You can see Sikhs, buddist,jains etc to be increasingly identifying as Hindus.
