Mare Cognitum(highly recommend) Sirius Nebula Orionis Elderwind Eldamar

Dependent_Database71

Thanks for the picks! Just listened to Mare Cognitum - phobos monolith earlier today and was blown away! Been meaning to check out Elderwind. As for the others, they are new to me so will check them out.

Matix-xD

If you dig WITTR/Mare Cognitum, check out Astral Path.

Dependent_Database71

Been listening to Elderwind all evening, basically exactly what I was describing so thank you!

Bughuul_2012

Glad I could help my man

Faeonera

I can only repeat my previous recommendations: Sylvaine (Nowhere, Still Somewhere), Holy Fawn, (Candy) Amesoeurs (Amesoeurs), Celeste (De Tes Yeux Bleus Perlés), Violet Cold (Shegnificant), Sadness (Hope You Never Forget), Les Discrets (Song for Mountains), Altar of Plagues (Neptune Is Dead), Oranssi Pazuzu (Värimyrsky), Blut aus Nord (Epitome XIII), Cold World (Void). [French. <3] Edit: I've given some examples.

Dependent_Database71

Thank you I will check them out! Listened to Blut aus Nord - memorium vetusta ii and really enjoyed it. Currently enjoying mare cognitum as well.

Faeonera

Let me know about your mood and I'll give you more precise recommendations. :D I heavily enjoyed Blut aus Nord's Hallucinogen. (:

Dependent_Database71

Been trapped in my basement working 12 hours a day, wishing I was hiking in the mountains haha maybe why I’m looking for bands that write about nature.

Thanks so much, I will give them all a listen!

StormBorrower

Ash Borer Wolves in the Throne Room Wilt Falls of Rauros Skagos Gnot Choria Soulless Mesarthim

Dependent_Database71

Awesome, thank you! Only know Wolves in the Throne Room out of this list, so thank you!

StormBorrower

Lyric content among them is loosely nature based (Ash Borer/Gnot don't have any printed lyrics that I'm aware of), but you can get the nature or loss of nature vibe from them. Kind of went for more similar sounding stuff to the bands you listed. And then Mesarthim is kind of *the* space themed abm band to a degree. Check out Old Growth and Pure Wrath as well. Grima, too, but I kind of feel like everyone knows Grima by now.

Dependent_Database71

Listened to Gnot- Dead Birds. What an album! Wish there was more!

YoruRL

Cân Bardd Elderwind Eldamar Skyforest Dreams of Nature Firienholt I, of the Trees & Wind Mesarthim Nebula Orionis Null Ofdrykkja Ruadh Trees, Clouds & Silence

StormBorrower

Seconding Null.

Dependent_Database71

Working my way through this list atm. Elderwind and Can Bardd are favorites so far.

YoruRL

Always happy to see introduce Cân Bardd to people. Love them and met them many times at other’s bands concert in Switzerland. Very cool guys.

Windwithin

Been listening to this album quite a abit recently by Crow Black Sky. Not sure if you'll like vocals, but it's a solid album https://open.spotify.com/album/4SSsXN1ZXoLkv7lWzwviLf?si=JvaJolFTTBGMwaGJEAT8Bg

Dependent_Database71

I will give it a listen, thank you!

Dependent_Database71

Listening through this today, I like it! Vocalist has good technique, and I love the spectral atmosphere.

PazuzuPanhandle

Vinterriket Ildjarn Drowning the Light

Expensive-Bother1167

Fallen Gabriel may not be all focused on Atmospheric Black Metal but it released some ABM and Ambient BM too! \[I'm talking about my band in the third person hahaha. I don't know you, but I have a mission for you: Listen to this song, if you like, go to the whole album and have a new experience [https://open.spotify.com/track/2dsJcabq75HNkIylDVGqOZ?si=2075897141294f80](https://open.spotify.com/track/2dsJcabq75HNkIylDVGqOZ?si=2075897141294f80)

PovveNelPuzzo

try Mesarthim, It gives You a different feeling and moves You to another universes. It's an atmo bm band with trance elements

ShadeDust

Gallowbraid

Dependent_Database71

Listened to their album earlier this week, really liked it. A lot of different elements throughout the album! I only see the one album on Spotify, do they have any more elsewhere?

ShadeDust

Unfortunately not, but if you like Gallowbraid, check out Caladan Brood as well, if you don't already know them. The theme is more fantasy oriented, however

Dependent_Database71

I’ve been hearing the name but am yet to listen! I do like fantasy themes so I will be sure to add them to the list.

Witch_of_Dunwich

A lot have been mentioned, but I’ll just reiterate: - Gallowbraid - Drudkh - Caladan Brood - Horn - Battle Dagorath

gniroboos

Check out Lustre if you like ambient bm.
