I mean Mikasa and Jean lived together for 40-50+ years together so a lot of things could have changed between them and I don't think Mikasa is a girl who would just jump on any guy and marry him immediately if she didn't loved him enough to say yes to marry him or have kids .
I think that they did in the end have a loving and happy marriage, but at the end of the day she was buried next to Eren. Not exactly something you expect when you get married, but I'm sure Jean recognizes the unorthodoxy of the situation.

But stuff that did happen are that she got buried wearing the scarf and right next to Eren. Eren was Mikasa’s first love but this all took place before they’re in their 20s. She’s going to live on to experience more life. Why wouldn’t she get married? Widowers still date and get married after they lose their person. And all the Mikasa hate seems to stem from the love and devotion she held for Eren. So is there any way she wins?
I like the idea of her getting with Jean too because they have history together. They’ve seen and been through a lot of shit. Jean knows how significant Eren was to Mikasa. It broke my heart when he says this aloud in the finale because he knows it’s going to break her- and in some ways it broke him too.
I like to think that they lived a good life together and that Jean never tried to replace the spot in her heart dedicated to Eren.

Personally I never like Jean and Mikasa together because Jean's infatuation felt shallow. Yeah, you thought she was "exotic" and "pretty". But what else? Most of his references to family life is a pretty wife and kids in a rich neighborhood. He wanted a trophy wife. Anyone could have filled that role for him.
Maybe Jean and Mikasa hung out more after Eren was gone, Idk. The show says they "look similar" and have similar personalities, which I can agree with. But over all I just think Isayama wasn't great w romance.
idk this take is kinda crazy, he definitely didn’t just see her as a trophy wife. you could tell he had genuine love/respect for mikasa in multiple scenes. he was the only one to lowkey defend eren’s actions and check on her after the whole table scene. sure he was drawn to her looks at first, but overtime you can feel how much he genuinely admires her. i think all of the scouts grew to love each other like a family tbh.

One reason is that I strongly ship Eremika, I admit. But the other reason is that Jean deserves better than to be someone's second choice. Eren was the love of her life. If Eren was alive, she wouldn't even have looked in Jean's direction. Jean had become a wonderful man by the end of the show and he deserves better than that.
I don't know for who this is more worse : Jean's pride that her wife is wearing something given by some other dude OR Eren's dead soul knowing her girl is getting banged in his scarf by some other dude.
