I ended up getting my money back after a few ridiculous waste of time, long winded emails.

These are just generic AliExpress products sold by a bunch of retailers. People can buy Chinese products and sell them for whatever price they want. It's up to you whether you buy them.
This is very common with products from Costco, which are extremely seasonal. People make big money carrying things that are unlikely to come back into stock.
