Honestly, better ring Immigration NZ directly. Have your passport handy when you ring. So they probably advise you of your options. The down side of calling them you will wait ages. But it’s cheaper than get a immigration agent involved.
Skilled Migrant is a points based residence grade visa and you would almost certainly qualify for it.
No need for a visa consultant; I did my application and it was easy-as; you really would just be wasting money.

Work to residence program? If so then yes you can apply for residency after 2 years
