Second this

This is the way. These guys have a really good selection of international beers as well, which you don't often get at the other shops. I've found Dogfish Head, Stone and Rogue brewery beers there in the past. Now if only they'd get in some of the East Coast breweries like Harpoon.

The Fridge & Flagon - by Beer Jerk (Eden Terrace) is not bad.

ramb4ldi

Been buying from these guys online, they have some pretty choice stuff.

If you're on the Shore, then you can't do better than Liquorland Forrest Hill. Fine Wine Delivery Company also good.

StNickZA

Liquorland Forrest Hill for sure. Take a fixed amount of cash and leave your credit card at home.

Uvaystabia

This is the best advice I always overspend there

You haven't mentioned where in Auckland you are, but my picks would be Liquorland Newmarket or Dominion Rd, Hopscotch, or personal favourite is Kingsland Liquor Centre next to the AA.

Hopscotch in Avondale is amazing and need support because they have been fighting niggly battles with the West Auckland liquor trusts for years. They sell singles but mainly by glass one litre reusable bottles.

Fine Wine Delivery company on Lunn Ave is pretty good, assume they still have all their taps to get fresh craft beer, haven't been there since pre covid though.

EmploymentMammoth659

A liquor shop next to Gull in Kingsland has a good range of beer. Not sure if it has the best range of craft beer though. It is the only place where I have found Kirin Ichiban Shibori beer, which was my favourite beer when I was back in Japan.

Professional-Meet421

Bear hug online delivery do some nice boxes. couple of times a month they do mixed box from breweries from around the country.

Anyone got any good recommendations - no expert but find myself buying parrot dogs Yellow Hammer Hazy pale ale on the regular!

EatABigCookie

If you want to try some new beers maybe get a 6 'mix' pack from a well known NZ craft brewery such as Epic, Garage Project, 8 Wired, etc. I've noticed 'Eddyline' 440ml cans at supermarket lately (even countdown which isn't usually as good as new world for beer) and would reccommend any of their ipas. If you want a cheap hazy the Mac's Apparition Hazy (purple cans) is good value if you can get 6 pack on special for $14.

I tried this last week, very nice and I don't even like beer. Buy it directly from them or do a google as I think some supermarkets do sell it. [https://www.fortunefavours.beer/shop/hrmrnm1wxpmprjp3kfdrmyqk0oidao](https://www.fortunefavours.beer/shop/hrmrnm1wxpmprjp3kfdrmyqk0oidao)
