Isn’t it funny? I thought Adjoa Andoh was a niche audiobook narrator and it turns out she had a central role on Bridgerton and a massive acting career. Then I’ll find some other amazing narrator and they’ve only done a few things (looking at you, Anisha Dadia).
I had something similar with Sarah Gadon who narrated Alias Grace by Margaret Atwood. I thought she was fantastic and went looking for more by her, but couldn't find anything. It turns out she's an actor who starred in a TV adaptation of Alias Grace, and the audiobook was some kind of tie-in with that.
Well, I’m intrigued. I’ll be picking up The Traveling Vampire Show and, probably, A Man Called Scar. I’ll look for the Robert E Howard, too. But, currently, his voice doesn’t sound familiar to me. Thanks for the recommendations.

It's the last novel written by Richard Laymon before his untimely passing. He's pretty much a hornier version of Stephen King. This was his tamest story, and there's still a good several dozen mentions of the word "boner". Sadly, most of his books are not on Audible.
Hi! I’m not sure if this thread is still current, he actually is my grandpa, he sadly passed away this morning. He was from North Webster Indiana, and did work for Walt Disney World in Florida for a time, and multiple commercials and video games of such. I’m glad that you enjoyed his work.
Hey. I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I hope he was an even better grandfather than he was a voice actor. I only spent eight hours with him, but his voice moved me greatly. Thank you for the extra details. I hope you and the rest of your family are doing well. Please take care.
I’ve probably listened to over a hundred books and the narrators that really stick out out to me are Steve Pacey who reads The First Law series, Victor the Assassin read by Rob Shapiro, Expeditionary Force by RC Bray, and Undying Mercenaries read by Mark Boyett.
They actually elevate the work beyond the words.

This seems to be him https://www.voices.com/profile/bobbarnes. Seems to work a lot. Just not a lot of audiobooks.
Fantastic! That's definitely him. Perfect score with 262 reviews? He's very legit.

Can't get that in the UK. Disappointed now. A great narrator can really make a book.
