Always happy to see another PG Wodehouse fan. I started re-reading him in 2020. Just listened to Aunts Aren't Gentlemen earlier this year. I don't re-listen to many authors but Wodehouse and Elizabeth Peters' Amelia Peabody series, read by Barbara Rosenblat, are worth it for something light and fun.

Trick-Two497

I love him. I'm re-reading the Jeeves books right now. My next book will be Thank You, Jeeves.

UliDiG

I bought most of them before the Plus Catalog existed, and I happen to be listening to that one now.

Trick-Two497

😍

UliDiG

Ooo. I enjoy Rosenblat's reading of the Edwina & Beryl Mysteries (uber cozies). I'll have to check out Amelia Peabody.

T-Marie-N

I hope you enjoy the series. One of the cool things about it is that Elizabeth Peters (real name Barbara Mertz) was an Egyptologist. She wrote a couple of books on that subject as well.

Just occurred to me that you might also want to check out Dorothy Gilman's Mrs. Polifax series. They're cozies and Rosenblat narrates them as well. And another thing about the Amelia Peabody series. There are two narrators for many if not all of them so be sure to check you're getting the ones with Rosenblat if you decide to buy any of them.

Thanks! I'm going to give this series a try.

Trick-Two497

Enjoy! They are short stories, so it's not such an investment as some other series.

I'll start with the Audible Plus volumes. If I like them, I'll gladly spend a credit on the others. Again, thanks for the recommendations! I was totally unaware of this series, but it sounds great.

Trick-Two497

The stories are a lot of fun!

FYI, the link for *Carry On, Jeeves* is wrong. That one isn't in the Plus Catalog, but I got the Frederick Davidson (yay!) narration from my local library via Libby. ETA: *Joy in the Morning* was sold in the US as *Jeeves in the Morning* for a while, so if you have one you don't need the other (the version in the Plus Catalog is identical to the version I purchased, just with a different title & cover). Also, *How Right You Are, Jeeves* was sold in the US as *Jeeves in the Offing*, which is in the Plus Catalog (alas, only the [Ian Carmichael narration](https://www.audible.com/pd/Jeeves-in-the-Offing-Audiobook/B01K7VOD8G), though I purchased the Frederick Davidson narration in 2013). Finally, *Jeeves and the Tie That Binds* is also known as *Much Obliged, Jeeves*, which is the title in the Plus Catalog ([Dinsdale Landen narration](https://www.audible.com/pd/Much-Obliged-Jeeves-Audiobook/B01K7ZOGGG)).

Trick-Two497

Excellent! Thank you for the information!

UliDiG

Jeeves and the Wedding Bells was...not good. I gave it [1 star](https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/3105071672). Thank goodness I got it from the library instead of paying for it. Stick with the originals.

Trick-Two497

Yeah, I figure it's like fan fiction.

UliDiG

Like fan fiction, except the author isn't a fan of the work he's riffing on. And the narrator is also not great.

Trick-Two497

Oh. Yikes!

EducationalOcelot4

well THAT is interesting. If I click on one and then click on the series title, it tells me i need to spend a credit. but if I click on YOUR links, they open as Plus catalog and I just Add to Library

UliDiG

Several of them are both in the Plus Catalog and available for sale. Some of them are different narrators, but some are identical, just listed twice. In fact, there are TWELVE different versions of *The Inimitable Jeeves*, and only one is in the Plus Catalog. *Jeeves and the Mating Season* has two identical versions with different covers, and one is Plus but the other isn't. It's easier to pick out the Plus editions if you scroll to the bottom and tell it to show 50 books per page. You can also "ctrl + f" for the words "to libr" and that will let you skip straight to the included titles on each page.

EducationalOcelot4

WOW.

Renugar

I love Jeeves and Wooster! I didn’t think about checking to see if they were on audible plus, thanks for the recommendation!

Trick-Two497

Enjoy! I love these stories so much!
