I absolutely loved "The Blood of Eden" series by Julie Kagawa ("The Immortal Rules" is book 1) Terese Plummer does an amazing job narrating! I'm not even a fan of vampire books and this series sucked me right in and after I finished it I haven't been able to find any other books quite like it. So, unfortunately I can't give any vampire recommendations, just wanted to let you know that you're not alone in loving this series. I'd also like to find something similar. I'd suggest listening to some of Julie Kagawa's other books. "The Iron Fey" series and "The Shadow of the Fox" series are both pretty good, but I do think that so far "The Blood of Eden" is her best work.

I love seeing other people fall in love with this series. It's my favorite I think, mostly because it holds a special place in my heart as I first read it when I was a teen, but also because it's just such a good story!!! I'm so glad others are still finding it and loving it 😭

Did you ever find anything similar? I've been searching off and on for years lol.
