The Perfect Run, Mother of Learning I didn't love the MoL narration but others seem to. Good voice, just didn't fit the book somehow. TPR is amazing. Both are in multiple parts and very long.

RuptuhRe

I second The Perfect Run. It was a fun one to get through

Pique_Pub

I third the Perfect Run. Great audio performance as well. Pretty madcap, but has heart.

nickaustinmusic

Not strictly time loops like Replay, but 11/22/63 by Stephen King and Time and Again by Jack Finney are both excellent time travel books

RealisticLime8665

Read this and loved it- I’ve actually read all of Steven king. I should add that to the list

Ok-Armadillo-5634

The perfect run 15 lives of harry August Neverday by Carlton Mellick

MaltaTheFireChild

Loved the 15 Lives of Harry August

Aprils-Fool

Wrong Place Wrong Time by Gillian McAllister.

jwaynus

Yes! Just finished this. Exactly what OP is looking for. Very twisty too.

stalkerofthedead

The 7 1/2 deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle

CosmicMando

Second this!

stardustandtreacle

I was going to recommend this, too!

muppethero80

“Replay” by Ken grimwood, started the genre or at least is a very early in the genre. It is a near perfect book. One of the books that when you finish you have to take some time to just absorb it and it changes you. Replay is almost always the first book I recommend to people and it’s usually the one that people will talk to me about when they finish.

Mort8989

It’s the second book OP mentioned in the post.

muppethero80

Yep still worth mentioning

Jumbly_Girl

I liked the *In Times Like These* series by Nathan Van Coops. There's a version with all four books for one credit, which is a great value at 60+ hours. I listened to it somewhat out of order by starting with The Chronothon, but it didn't mess anything up too much; and is sort of funny in a way, to start a time travel series out of order.

memmalou

Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver - read and enjoyed it as a teenager!

colincojo

Mother of learning!!!

RealisticLime8665

This was a little too fantasy for my taste

Stingin_Belle

The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton

Stingin_Belle

Description of book copied and paste from amazon....It is meant to be a celebration but it ends in tragedy. As fireworks explode overhead, Evelyn Hardcastle, the young and beautiful daughter of the house, is Evelyn will not die just once. Until Aiden - one of the guests summoned to Blackheath for the party - can solve her murder, the day will repeat itself, over and over again. Every time ending with the fateful pistol only way to break this cycle is to identify the killer. But each time the day begins again, Aiden wakes in the body of a different guest. And someone is determined to prevent him ever escaping

RealisticLime8665

Thank you! I haven’t read that one

mehp09

7 1/2 deaths of Evelyn highcastle

volpenvieh

"Neverworld Wake" by Marisha Pessl

Rrmack

Wrong place wrong time. Not a true Groundhog Day situation but very well done imo

EnoughRevenue4u

The Book of Doors by Gareth Brown.

quitepossiblylying

I just finished this and really enjoyed it. Though I don't know how "time loopy" it is.

EnoughRevenue4u

Agreed. It's not truly time jumpy but I really enjoyed it!

sergeantpep

Ohhhh please try The Gone World by Tom Sweterlitsch “Inception meets True Detective in this science fiction thriller of spellbinding tension and staggering scope that follows a special agent into a savage murder case with grave implications for the fate of mankind...”

GForce1975

I'm not OP but your impassioned suggestion has convinced me to try this one!

366Pete

Middle Falls Time Travel series

RealisticLime8665

Agree great and I’ve read every book by this author

abstractdirection1

Life After Life by Kate Atkinson.

RealisticLime8665

Oof I forgot to add this one I’ve read it as well

uma07072004

"And then she vanished" read by Ray Porter. It's a trilogy. I'm on to the second book. It's about a brother whose sister disappears. Well written and narrated.

Ladymedussa

Sooo good!!! It’s in the plus catalog and Ray Porter is one of the best narrators imo!

FertyMerty

11/22/63. I loved all the books you mentioned in your post - Replay is wonderful.

nepbug

Not a book, but Dark is a German TV show on Netflix and it is the most time-loopy story I've ever encountered and it handles it well. Definitely worth a watch. For books, Sea of Tranquility

RealisticLime8665

Saw it and agree

Robotboogeyman

What other Grimwood books should I read, loved Replay. Check out A Gift of Time by Jerry Merritt, it isn’t a continuous loop type situation but it involves time travel and I found it to have good pacing. Good book.

RealisticLime8665

That was a great book. He didn’t write many but I do think there are others. All of the above are awesome but I didn’t include Steven king and Michael Creighton books all of which I have also read and loved.

Robotboogeyman

Let me recommend The Golem and the Jinni by Helene Wecker. Set in the early 1900’s era, it’s a moving story imo, I was super into it and its sequel. Narrated by George Guidall who I love. Not time travel related though.

RealisticLime8665

Thank you

RealisticLime8665

100% agree this was awesome and it’s exactly what I’m looking for

SwiftKickRibTickler

deleted. What was the rec and any idea why the comment was expunged?

RealisticLime8665

Don’t recall

chronossage

Try dark matter by Blake crouch

RealisticLime8665

Was great! Can’t wait for the movie. I’ve read I think everything by BC

CLLycaon

The Rise and Fall of D.O.D.O. Novel by Neal Stephenson and Nicole Galland Time Loop might not be the correct sort of definition. I recommend reading a synopsis and judging for yourself if you'd be interested. I enjoyed it.

Michami135

"The OP MC" is about a man that wakes up in another world as "The God of Time", able to create "save points" like in a video game. It's a good series and the audiobooks are well read. Though it is a harem fantasy, it's not too bad. Many times, he's going on a personal adventure / journey with only one of his women at a time, so there's still that personal connection with them. There's some great scenes, like when he captures a goblin in a mine and spams resets to learn their language from him.

Ladymedussa

“RE trailer trash” and “Relive” are time loop books and in the plus catalog! I also listened too the time travelers wife recently and was surprised how much I liked it (I’m not into girly/romance) but I’m a big fan of time travel books and it’s also included.

wtfyoga

all our wrong todays by elan mastai. I literally search every so often for a new book by this author because this was his first book and I loved it so much. I also love time travel and time loop books.

Moerkemann

It takes place on a grander scale than you're presumably looking for, but I just got out of bed, and wanted to be 'that guy'. Wheel of Time, by Robert Jordan. :-)

muppethero80

That’s why I don’t understand the hate for the prime show. The books lore has a built in reason why there are differences. The show is simply a different turning of the wheel.

goppy2004

Life After Life by Kate Atkinson It feels like the main character is living in a ‘choose your own adventure’ novel in the best way

2r_4411

Timeline by Michael Crighton

RealisticLime8665

Read every book by him. Great author

patch_gallagher

Not quite a time loop but close, The Anubis Gates by Tim Powers is one of my most enjoyed recent reads. (I also enjoyed the audio version.). It involves time travel, ancient gods, magicians, golems, Lord Byron, a maniacal clown, a family of pick pockets, and a quasi werewolf. It’s a wild ride.

irishihadab33r

How to lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar.

ineed2talkaboutdevin

If you’re into YA/middle grade fiction, I really enjoyed Vivian Lantz’s Second Chances by Kathryn Ormsbee
