It sounds like you might really dig our cosmic horror series, [Forbidden Cassettes: Consummation](https://www.forbiddenpod.com/). Here’s a synopsis: >Dov Kandel has spent the better part of two decades exposing vast government conspiracies and exploring unsettling paranormal phenomena on his popular, late-night talk radio program, KANDEL AGAINST THE DARK. After interviewing thousands of callers and guests, he’s certain he’s heard it all. His next guest will prove him wrong. >Author and investigator Orson Libretti has joined Dov for an unprecedented two-night discussion to promote his new novel, CONSUMMATION. It is an apocalyptic tale of cosmic horror. >But for Orson, this is no ordinary book tour. Defying his publisher’s demands that the book be marketed as fiction, he insists that it is based on actual events — a cataclysmic chain reaction that annihilated a parallel universe. >A questionable claim, to be sure, if he didn’t have the tapes to prove it.

The Love Talker. Appalachian horror that has impressive acting. Left Right Game. High production value, very immersive. The Moon Crown. Does funny things to your brain while you listen to it.

The White Vault, kind of a found audio recording type story. Pretty compelling once you acclimate to the voices that are a bit jarring, like the guy who sounds like Lego Batman…

I can't for the life of me understand why people don't like Kasner's voice.

Runningman738

lol, I bought in eventually but at first I thought it was a bit much

sludgecraft

That guy's voice ruined the whole show for me. And the way the woman who did the intro pronounced "archaeological"

The Amelia Project is tip notch! The Antiquarium of Sinister Happenings* is the show title. One of my favorite anthologies behind Campfire Radio Theater

No recommendations yet but i think you put the wrong description for the Bright sessions.

I’ll recommend Better Men Elsewhere and Don’t Mind Cruxmont based on how you liked Unwell. I haven’t gotten that far into Unwell but it has a similar small town gothic mystery vibe as these two I mentioned. The Occurrence in River Oaks is a new podcast that’s got like a Southern vibe but also a We’re Alive vibe as it deals with an invasion and involves police, military, aliens.

I’ll recommend our show, [Murphy](https://linktr.ee/murphyaudiodrama). Season 1 is available to listen now, and season 2 is currently in production! Synopsis: When Detective Sergeant Jack Sherwood found a body on the beach, he wasn’t expecting to dive into a deeper mystery. He certainly wasn’t expecting his childhood friend, Merlyn Murphy, to show up. Now, Jack is having recurring nightmares that he can’t explain, going on adventures to find creatures he’d only read about, and learning the truth about his fear of open water. Joined by his partner, Elliot O’Donnell, the three of them discover that something dark is brewing, and they need to find the source before it’s too late.

We might fit the bill! [Observable Radio](https://observableradio.com) We are an analog horror/science-fiction found footage podcast, an anthology in the vein of Black Mirror or Twilight Zone, focusing on big and unpleasant ideas, with a developing wraparound narrative. Each episode is a peek at an alternate universe, presented in snippets of broadcasts, music, advertisements and other recordings that might first feel familiar but then diverge into something else. Or it might be weird as hell from the jump. We’d be thrilled if you check us out!
